In western world consumers would normally punish the tax evaders and unethical businesses by boycoting their products. But unfortunately our people do not even understand that concept.

People in Nepal should Boycott Wai Wai....Someone should voice for boycoting Wai Wai Noodles and other Chaudhary products.

 While these big businesses should be punished for their misdeeds, many businesses I have dealt with in Nepal don't really pay much of a consideration to billing - things get cheaper if you do not get a bill. 

Also, why only boycott Wai Wai? If you really want to go that route, why not boycott everything from the tax evaders (which I don't think would be realistic)?

It is interesting to see how this story is unfolding. There's this list of big businesses involved in this act of fake bills (which seem to be include all of the big businesses of Nepal) and then all of the blame seems to be heaped onto Wai Wai and the Chaudhary Group. 

I guess a punishment according to the current standards would be a good lesson for all for the future. Boycotting Wai Wai would basically mean that more people would need to go to the Gulf and Afghanistan for work.

Is Wai Wai the only Noodles maker in Nepal? Those Wai Wai eaters would create a demand on other noodles maker. I do not get your answer. I know everyone evades taxes in Nepal but we can start kicking one Chaudhary's nuts at a time.

Stiffler, why only Wai Wai is the question? Why start knocking out this Chaudhary when you know that doing this could be beneficial to others who very well could have acted more inappropriately than this  Chaudhary. My argument is more like we have incomplete information.

I don't like this policyy of our acts being based on the bad record of one company reported by "one" media. Like if you look at this particular media's reports, it is clear that it apparently knows more than what the actual people have to say. For eg. the reason that Mr. Rameshwor gives for his resignation and the reason that this media says is the reason. I also find a post in this media titled - "Why the UML should not exist?" a while back and based on their hatred towards the UML, I don't find it particulalry surprising for this media to single out a business that backs up the UML. Not really saying that the UML is good or anything, but just throwing out an observation.

Also do you guys remember watching Guru, based on Dheeru Bhai's life? Could there be sort of some parallels here? I don't know!
