I simply hate it

Simply say " I hate all apple products". But that will make any dents on macs or apple  product. Whether you like it or not they are selling like hot cakes and will remain so for long time. Thats coming from someone who has never owned Mac and just jumped ship from Iphone to Android.

I simply hate macs, it sucks.. their interface sucks.. they simply suck..

Are you suggesting us not to buy Mac ?

I don't give a bullcrap about them.. oh yeah, they can go and say '3 million units sold'..

As far as I know Apple is most consistent on releasing sales figure. I know Mac is expensive and I dont intended buy one for that price but its also true that they are selling like hot cakes. People who use mac never wanna go back to PC. If you think mac sucks then thats your opinion and I respect that. But I have seen your gibbersh against Iphone many time and that proved that you are nothing but hater. I dont use mac but I dont hate it

It's strictly towards the apple corp. And I won't welcome any comments with personal attack targeted to me. I don't do it, you don't do it. When I wrote, 'I hate apple' I mean it. I'm a hardcore geek who needs to open up the case and do every sh-it possible out of it I could.
mac is a locked system. I prefer PC over mac, coz, I can mess with every wire in it. I can Modd, I can tweak, whatever I wish I could do it on PC. Personally, I think mac is more suitable to grand pa/mas who's not well versed in the tech or say those users who don't want to go inside the system tweaking and tinkering, it's okay for them. And, personally, I've seen very few enhancement on designer-end softwares where it's more easy to use using the keyboard combos on mac.  So, lemme sum it up.. Old folks, designers/print folks and some other basic old school users , that's all mac is about..

Now, PC.. it lets you rise up on the horizon. Have you guys even seen in your wildest dream or imagined of 8 Ghz CPU speed throttling?? welcome to the PC arena, it's possible here. I've seen it. You pay $1000 bucks for the same old mac piece of sh-it whereas you can get that same stuff for mere $300 bucks for PC. PC market is so abundant , may be there is 1 mac out of 100 comparatively in the market. It's the real stat folk. What you are looking at is on the limited niche? Other than that I've seen guys who frequent my workplace who doesn't even know what is siri but they're carrying iphone 4s. I asked them why did you buy 4s, there simple answer was ' it's new iphone , no?"..
I was like 'wtf'.. that's the dumbest replies I ever get from these ppl and overall in general make me feel, 'oh well...... apple has pretty good number of dumbs following..'  ..

over all, PC is everywhere.. it's ubiquitous, I"m not trying to sound stupid , I know it's a personal computer after all but mac is just not up to the standard to match colossal PC market. it's what NASA uses, it's what stock market uses, it's what banks uses, it's what huge corporations uses, it's what everyone uses.. lol..

Once upon a time, a hungry fox was roaming around here and there searching for food. Because of hunger, he was feeling weak and tired. Fortunately, he came to a garden where he saw a grape-vine laden with bunches of grapes they looked quite ripe and juicy.

The fox looked at the grapes with longing eyes and licked his chops. But the bunches were too high for him and he was feeling weak. So he sat down for a while to take some rest. On feeling refreshed, he jumped as high as he could, to get at the grapes. But he failed to reach them.

Then he again rested for some time and made another bold attempt, but was unlucky for the second time.

Forced to give up trying anymore, he just walked away and instead of accepting his failure, he remarked "the grapes appeared to be ripe and juicy, but now I see them to be quite sour."

Mac is the most user friendly unix system ever designed. If you like Unix you will like mac.
If you are a developer I think you will love mac.
Following reasons
1. Real Unix terminal with all default commands, not like windows terminal that craps all over the place once you use
emacs on it. (Single biggest driving force for me)
2. Emacs, ssh, more etc all come in by default.
3. Interface is so much better (This is subjective)
4. Spaces! Multiple desktops.
You can argue you can get all this in linux desktop as well but at the moment Linux world seems to
be infatuated with the tablet movement so all their desktops have become unusable. So mac has
become even more indispensible for developers.

With windows you can do all you can do in mac only it will require you a lot of time and effort
to configure stuff. Nothing works out of the box, after 9000th installation you really dont want
to reinstall that pdf reader.

In the end it all boils down to what sort of scenario you were brought up in.
If you started computers from DOS you will like Mac and Unix like systems but if you
started with "Starting Windows" logo you should not switch to mac, too much of 
a learning curve.
But if you are a software developer (Windows independent, aka web) give mac a try (Until they fix linux).

 Hey you guys: You are not the only one, i won't go far as hating it, but i figured out that MAC, iPhone is not my thing. On top of that i heard an hour long story about how they treat all those chinease workers making iPad, i phone and all...not even gonna touch it as much as possible. I hope this was a pad on you guy's shoulder...

@one that got away, it's not that I can't afford. I can afford to buy all these mac computers. It's not a big deal to me. I can afford to buy any latest iphone and such. So, that sour thing anomaly(that's not analogy for me, lol), keep that with you. I just don't like apple stuff. Get that. 
And, the reason I hate it because they rip you off. Consider you are lucky, if your mac is up and running. Wait for the day, it stops working and then you'll realize what I meant. Anyone remember apple giving back cash back to it's customers when they sold the same stuff for lesser price in the matter of few months because the unit price with all labor cost was turned out to be somewhere around 200 something bucks but they ended up charging ppl more than 500 bucks when the iphone first came in the market?? That's a way of doing dirty business. Okay, so, yeah, I can afford happily afford it.

what do you mean, if you started with DOS , you'll like mac.!!! What kind of idiotic comparison is that? I started with MS-DOS 3.1 or even some earlier version in floppies. I remember the day when I had 640 MB of harddisk and only 24 MB of ram. I spent heck-uva money on buying rams to play that BLOOD game on dos. And, yeah, I was pretty good at batch programming, and Q-basic. I really startled my teachers with my stuffs back then. I even programmed some fun programs for my fellow class mates on Q-basic. I loved DOS, so I love Microsoft and windows. Where am I? I should be in love with apple according to you, epic fail statement.
And the other thing about Linux getting failed.  You are again wrong. You don't know computer, do you? did you come to this page through different vortex.?? seriously.. if you ask me, I'm a linux and Windows guy, not a apple guy. Linux is all servers whereas windows is all desktop.. yah yah there are other server end OSes,, dont' need to mention.. but you considering linux being unstable, thats the lamest comment I've ever read.

and I'm not writing these posts just without using mac, I've used it for your information. Otherwise, I wouldn't dare to write it here. Everyone gets attracted to their shiny glossy lil dashy look, but that's just a piece of crap at least for me for the price you pay for it.

You can't blame Apple for working condition in Foxconn. BTW, Foxconn does provide generous perks like free food, hostel, gym facility etc to its worker. They just raised the salary by 40%..


if you are concern about working condition of those chinese manufacture units then better stop using any tech gadgets as more than 90% of the products are assembled in china.
