Oh man, this is going to be a tough one to choose. I like Colts. More than that, I think they deserve to win. Peyton Manning is certainly the best quarterback out there.

But,

I have already thrown my hat in for Chicago Bears.

So,

BEARS it is.

Well Delicate..you make your case and I give it to you that Manning is not bad..but the best quarterback on NFL? I dont agree. Yes he always has huge passing yards and he rates better than Brady this year but you have to take in account his past records, total games won, playoff records, point conversions, interceptions...essentially everything to say 'the best'.
And I think 17-44 during houston/indy is a pretty bad game..not competitive. I never denied NE getting shut out by Miami...or the fact that Broncos always beats us. We lost to Indy this year...both the times, yes.
I dont know if you read all of what I had written, but I said 'the game came down to the match up of two quarterbacks...and Manning trumped Brady'. THIS particular game, THIS year.
Like you said, everyone is entitled to hold their personal opinion...so both of us hold very strong opinion about these players.
And as much as i love and live football, I would never dream of becoming one of the players...so your gentle accusation that i might infact be 'jealous' of Manning is quite laughable. Its MY fault that he comes on tv every minute? How so? I didnt hire him, I am not responsible for his fat paycheck, and I dont live in Indiana. If the vendors want to sponsor him..let them, but dont point fingers at me for that! I think you are going a little far. Defending a player without accusing the fan takes skills.

Well, it's not me, it's you that you are making your own case. If you don't know the final score between Indy/houston then please don't make a case. Indy got beat by houston with the score of 17-44? Where did you get that? Was that a game with houston or with jags? Please don't try to confuse me by messing up the scores. Anyways, if you are talking about 17-44 game, then you should blame it on indy's defense, not offense and manning.
And by the way, I am not comparing brady and manning with their past records. I am talking about this year. and i don't have any doubt that manning is the best quarterback this season.

It was a good game. As expected Manning and Brady showdown was great. But it was always going to be Patriots defense against Manning led power offense. The defense played great in the first half and Brady looked invincible in the playoffs again. But the gut showed by Indianapolis in the second half was just too good. After being down and defense not letting Manning hit deep balls, what did he do? He had no option but to go deep and once the ground game established, Peyton knew what he had to do. Play action to sure handed Dallas Clark. Freezing the defense and linebackers and attacking the safety as they go for runs. He was accurate, gutsy and played I think the best game of his career. The passes were thrown with accuracy and precision. To come back from 18 down to defeat the great Patriots speaks volumes on how much Manning wanted this one. With this, it becomes hard not to pick Indidanapolis. Bears defense will have to play one of those 4-5 turnover games to have a chance and Lovie will blitz hard. Why not when he has linebackers like Urlacher and Briggs. This will be another good game. Not much hope for Rex, he can be pathetic at times.

I am picking Indianapolis.

The best game of his payoff career, yes. But I don't think it was the best game of his career...there were quite a few ones in the past...like the one with tampa couple of yrs ago...a monday night game...where they scored 4 touchdowns in the 4th qtr alone....a huge come from behind victory!

I hope Payton Manning(overrated passer) throws 3-4 INT's and I hope they lose. We had that game last week. But lady luck was not on our side. All because of that big eyed Lokharkey dropping the passes.
Go Chicago.

Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots towel.

Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point, Peyton?"

"Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said: "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine."

Maybe I missed something there....

Nothing against Patriots, they had their run.....Its hard to win every game, every season in NFL.....Its the COLTS' time now.....

KC Bro, I thought that Big Eyed Lokharke was for Caldwell not Peyton, He dropped some passes in that game. One touchdown and other was for first down.
