TL as long as you are in the US all the bahuns can eat gai. reason behind it is- these are american gai. and do not belong to Krishna Kanaiya. however, you can not tell other people from other religion, for example Muslims, that you eat gai even it is forbidden by the religion, because they are very Kattar at their religion.
Let me make it little bit clearer hai ta! See we eat Ranga back home because they hanchann hamlai. But cows back home are "sudhi Praani". They don't haaann us. That's why we don't eat gai back home but we do eat rangas. But gais here, man oh man! they not even hannn us but they look ugly too! that's why it's ok to eat gais in Hamrika.
