i believe english football is going downwards, roman abramovich ley english football lai dubayooo :( PASTED FRM NEWSPAPER: DAVID Pleat has branded Chelsea 'obscene' after it was revealed that manager Jose Mourinho is set to be paid 10 million pounds a year. The former Spurs manager last week joined the increasing gang of football experts at Portsmouth, where he will have a so-called 'consultancy' post. But he is worried that the huge increases in pay, generated by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, will poison English football. Responding to reports that Mourinho has been offered a three-year extension worth 9m a year, Pleat said: 'I'd like some of it - but, seriously, I think it's obscene. 'There's a real danger that other people will see what's going on at Chelsea and start to compare themselves with Chelsea. 'What are those great managers, Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, going to think? 'Chelsea is a club going its own way, in their own fantasy world. 'I don't know what's going to happen or what the ultimate chapter will be. 'But they're a one-off.' HIGHEST EARNER Pleat also attacked the reason for making Mourinho the club's highest earner - just to soften his resentment at the club's apparent lack of support during the recent row with Uefa. He added: 'If you start making any one personality much bigger than the club, then in the end, the club is going to have a problem. 'I'm sure it's not healthy for the club, the owner, the manager or the players.'

Geordie????? Mourinho can ignore Chelsea's critics By Alan Hansen BBC Sport football expert Chelsea's Premiership meeting with Arsenal on Wednesday is being played out against the backdrop of the alleged "tapping" of Ashley Cole inquiry. Mourinho can brush the critics off and carry on with winning the title - and he's absolutely right to do so Jose Mourinho, his players and his club seem to be under attack and have been accused off all manner of things at the moment. There are complaints about them tapping-up players, having too much money, being too arrogant - and they should take it all as a compliment. Make no mistake, Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger would not be taking the slightest interest in Chelsea if Mourinho's side were sixth and no threat to their title monopoly. Ferguson and Wenger have been turning their attention on Chelsea in the way they normally reserve for each other. Chelsea should take this as a sign they are doing something right. If you are at the top, people try and knock you down. When we were at Liverpool, one bad defeat was turned by some into a major crisis. It was a sign of the standards we were setting and the success we had. Mourinho will no doubt brush it off and carry on as he has done, which is absolutely right. Chelsea would have to have the collapse to end all collapses not to win the title now - but they will be chasing victory hard against Arsenal. This is because with a Champions League semi-final against Liverpool on the horizon, they will want the title race over with quickly. With the title in the bag, Chelsea could rest players ahead of the Liverpool game, which would be a massive bonus. Arsenal and Manchester United are talking up the battle for second place but I don't really buy that. Their main focus now will be on the FA Cup final after impressive wins at the weekend. Finishing third and going into the qualifying stages of the Champions League is a minor inconvenience as opposed to a major setback. You play second-raters and you get through. Simple. Everton are currently in fourth place and have a massive game against United at Goodison Park on Wednesday. They recovered from a poor spell by beating Crystal Palace 4-0 but, given the way they were rolled over by United in the FA Cup, I think they would snatch a point with both hands. Liverpool are the other team in the shake-up for fourth and, despite dropping two points against Spurs on Saturday, I still fancy them to snatch a Champions League place. There have been a lot of highs and lows this season at Liverpool but at this stage it doesn't matter about the lows when the biggest high of all could yet be there after reaching the Champions League semi-final. Irrespective of how things transpire, Rafael Benitez has given Liverpool fans real hope for the future. The first thing he did was to give Liverpool fans entertaining football at Anfield, which they hadn't had for a long time. He has also given Liverpool renewed optimism and, even though he has been criticised for some of his signings, his big one, ?10.8m Xavi Alonso, is a wonderful player. So the fight for fourth is fascinating but for Chelsea it is now a matter of getting title business done and dusted as quickly as possible

The Fire brigade phones Jose Mourinho in the early hours of Sunday morning... "Mr Mourinho sir, Stamford Bridge is on fire!" "The cups man! Save the cups!" cries Jose. "Uh, the fire hasn't spread to the canteen yet, sir." :) ---------------------------------- Things that Sound Dirty in Football 1. The hole closed on him before he could penetrate it. 2. He came at his blind side and got him from behind. 3. He's off to the sidelines for a quick blow. 4. It's a game of inches. 5. That hole was so big, you could drive a truck through it. 6. When you get down in this area, you just gotta start pounding. 7. He's gonna feel that one tomorrow. 8. He found his tight end. 9. End around. 10. He had to stretch to get it in. 11. He gets penetration in the backfield. 12. He blows them off (at the line). 13. He bangs it in. 14. He could go all the way. 15. He gets it off just in time. 16. He goes deep. 17. He found a hole and slid through it. 18. He pounds it in. 19. He beats them off (the line). 20. He's got great hands.

jose mourinho walked into the locker room before a game, looked over to his star player and said, "I'm not supposed to let you play since you failed math, but we need you in there. So, what I have to do is ask you a math question, and if you get it right, you can play." The player agreed, and the coach looked into his eyes intently and asks, "Okay, now concentrate hard and tell me the answer to this. What is two plus two?" The player thought for a moment and then he answered, "4?" "Did you say 4?" the coach exclaimed, excited that he got it right. At that, all the other players on the team began screaming, "Come on coach, give him another chance!"

Dan Bro? Liverpool sadly lost to crystal palace today. Everton are 3 points up with 2 more games in hand. Very sad for the reds and sad for you. Chelsea rocking. Seems the title will be their's by monday. Anyway, come on man. Do some football talks. What are you going to do with all that money?

<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Make more pit stops madam.these days' machines are not trustworthy. no one knows when they burst into flames forcing you to abandon the race. I hope you are accelerating well in every laps. don't press hard and make pit stops more frequent. Otherwise, the mechanics will loose their job. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bye bye Schumi, I don't want you to be the 8th wonder. Let the youngsters ride their luck now.
