kunthaun, just saw your message. I am sorry if i offended you. thanks for your awareness to my posting. Although you represented negative meaning out of my view point, i still appreciate your awareness. you tried to use some bad language against me, but i have no hard feelings with that brother. I must have offended you to the point where you were forced you to use such language cuz as i have seen you on other post you are a very helpful decent person , so my apologies for that. have a nice weekend.

Why is there so much hate in here?

I saw another post on vedic meaning of sex. What we all should do here is talk about Love and Pursuit of Happiness.

Nepalimannaparaunemanche - You are a good person. You worked hard and achieved so much all by yourself, here in US. Kudos to you. Once in a while you feel lonely and dejected but remember the brothers, here, have only love and cosmic respect for you. Peace!

And a big shout out to my brothers - sidaNepali, Zxcv, kunthaun, Nepalipride91, robwyn, magorkhe1, mohanpoudel and rest of us who have embraced one of our fallen soldier. Knowing mental health issue is a serious challenge, we have persistently saved our fallen brother Nepalimannaparaunemanche. Let's not lose hope on him.

Ok, so the original question was: Why is there so much hate in here?
Since below linked information is TL;DR, summary - First, commentators are anonymous, and thus, unaccountable for their rudeness. Second, they are at a distance from the target of their anger and people tend to antagonize distant abstractions more easily than living, breathing people. Third, it's easier to be nasty in writing than in speech.

In that spirit, how nice it would be if we had something that would show the real names of people when we hover the cursor around the handle name. Then we'd know our Sudhir, Saroj, Dinesh, Ramesh, Dhan, Mig, Rabi, Ram, Yogesh, Shalini, Shreya et al. But it wouldn't be fun. We have facebook for that, I guess.

Moral of the story - Weekend drinking binge and last shot at 3:00 am does not necessarily mean long Saturday afternoon sleep. Shit! I am still hungover.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/turning-straw-gold/201202/lovingkindness-practice

Lovingkindness meditation came about because of the Buddha's response to a group of monks who were scared. As the story goes, these monks had gone to a remote forest to engage in intensivemindfulness meditation. But when they got there, they started hearing strange noises, smelling terrible odors, and seeing scary spirits. They fled the forest and sought the Buddha's help.

The Buddha taught them lovingkindness meditation and told them to go back to the forest and cultivate lovingkindness for these scary spirits. The monks returned to the forest and began to practice lovingkindness meditation. Soon the spirits became as benevolent and friendly to the monks as the monks were being to the spirits. The monks stayed a long time in the forest, in harmony with the spirits.
