It might be painful for those whose TPS is still pending and those might be worrying what if TPS does not extend after DEC 2016 dead line.
What do you think about TPS extension ? If it extend, it will be a great relief for those who are trying to change status to some other status and with EAD, they can legally able to work.

Did he maintain F1 status with SEVIS and received new I-20 from University ? Make sure you have all those documents handy while applying for F1 visa renewal. I am sure your case is not complicated if F1 status is maintained intact.

expired meaning the F-1 visa stamp/sticker on the passport expired in 2014, but F-1 status has been maintained, never been out of status, just need a new visa sticker to enter back to US
