Why would these 7 people log on to participate on a Poll just to say " I don't care"? People who really don't care wouldn't even care to log in.... It is funnier when people participate in one of those polls to get their voice heard and pick "I don't know"..

ZaRa बुइनी, "कसैले यसको परिणाम अनुसर हुन्छ अहिले नै राम्रो या नराम्रो भन्न सकिहाल्ने स्थिती छैन।" भन्ने बिचार पनि व्यक्त गरे। सायद उनिहरुले "I don't know!"

The limitation of the internet poll, scientific or otherwise is accepted and understood. What I do not understand is yourchallenge for the "real story", thereby "bhadkaune" that section. Why can't things be what it is, once in a while. aiight perhaps it can not be, but why seek to challenge and call them "royalist" or whatever. As I see it Nepe ji, many of them are not Royalist, they are if anything, "Peacialist". Aba aru ta ke bhanam, If I remeber it correctly Nepeji, your reminders were always welcomed; not lechering, in sajha, and also will be the case in everyday life too, rationally speaking. Zara, do you have a sister called Sara? ;) IndisGuise:)

Indisguise ji, Okay, granted some of the pro-takeover people are the Pacifists. But my challange was to those pro-takeover people who are boasting about the result of the Poll. So, once again, those who are boasting of winning in the poll in various threads, do you take the challange of exposing the inside story ?

This thread made me realize that I could use my alternative nick to vote too. So i just did it,using my kaamredbyapak nick to raise pro vote from 150 to 151. Nepal ma jastai proxy vote haliyo. Nepal ko eutai chunwwab ma kangress lai 3 ta bhot halne manche , aba yeha proxy halnu ta ke thulo kuro bhayo ra. Tyahi kangress lai lat hanna pani pachi pardina :) I think its not unfair. I dont expect non-supporters to abhere to one-head-one-vote principal either. I think the proxy votes from both sides would cancel out each other and the revealed result would me more or less indicative of the true degree of division. ma pani kati karai ra hola yeti sano bishaya ma pani......

Here is the information on voting at the sajha polls - One username can only vote once on one poll (no matter where they log in from). That is as far as the checks and balances go, in order to ensure at least some validity in the polls. People can always use different email addresses to register new usernames to vote again. Hence, votes in the internet can never be 100% accurate. Having said that, regarding the particular poll in question. The logs reveals the following. - Out of 241 votes, 206 IP addresses were unique - There were 17 extra votes supporting the Feb 1 move by IP address - There were 15 extra votes opposing the Feb 1 move by IP address Data as of 1:17 PM EST today. The above analysis could be invalid under two circumstances below: * If there are more than 1 users on the same network they would have the same IP address. If there are 10 users in a college they would all have the same IP address. Similarly, if there are 3 roommates (with broadband), they would all share the same IP address. * Users using dialup (or other services that allow different IP addresses) could get a new IP address each time they reconnect. Thus one person with more than one username could essentially vote more than once if they reconnected each time using different usernames.

YO Nepe bro, Gotta respond from San bro. So what do u say now?? Most of Nepalese (MY view) are fed up with the polticians. SO they support royal move. My analysis. 1. Multi party - same old story of cat and mose. On going war. Massive corrouption, No security, Extortion everywhere. 2. Maoism - that means we might even lose soverginity. There might even be genocide, who knows. 3. Monacry - Gotta wait and see what happens? Deserves a chance. A big gamble. If King cannot prove loyalty to the public then end of monarchy. Total chaos. "Ying - Yang" A light in the darkness, darkness admist light.

San, thanks for the clarification. It is highly encouraging for the supporters of the Feb 1 move. However, I think the date of registration of the voters is irrelavant. The reason being that a hitherto passive reader could have felt an urge to vote at this crucial point in Nepal's history. So, its not bad to register just to vote (either way). Agasin , more than 200 votes are from unique IP addresses, reminding us of the validity of teh polling. Again, revelation of new voters would also be welcome ( but is irrelavent). My $0.2.
