Thanks for pics and comments guys, surely made me nostalgic as well.

I got some information to share with all of you. EGBOSA in association with Himal Association is organizing Fewa Film Festival starting June 10, 2005 for three days. I hope to see you there.

Those pics above brings back a lot of memories!

I attended GBS from grade 3-5 which was a very long time ago (1982-1984); the stuff I did and the friends I've made during those short years has never left my mind...

I visited the school last year and these are just a few of the photos; sorry, I couldn't post the ones with people in them (to protect their privacy). This one is the entrance...

The first dorm I stayed in (for the fresh recruits I think) where I picked my first fight and then was made to clean the toilet for the first time. Also, the first time I had a white guy telling me how not to drink Coke (by shaking it)...when you are seven you do weird things I suppose...I also planted a tree for the first time (on the other side of the dorm)...the list goes on...

The gymnasium...this was the place for entertainment than a gym really...saturday night movies, amateur theatrical productions, etc. However, they did have equipments (i.e. parallel bars, rings) if you really wanted to be a gynast though.

The view outside GBS...there would be lots of strange events happening outside the fence specially at night...sometimes we would see pole bearers carrying a dead person's body with a person in the front carrying a lantern; all this at 2 AM in the morning near the Gandaki river...freaky....

Oh...this pic was taken near a spot where I burned all my books and notes after each exam :-)
