Does anyone of us are aware that we still have RANA REGIME and we're gonna make them more powerful. Dr. Giri is distributing National Park's land to RANAS. Govt. is following RANA's RULES my imposing more tax on books so that it makes people harder to get new books and get better insight and be aware of the situation at Nepal.

IzenJee Einstein is against nationalistic ideas n' the ideas behind EU has probably originated from Einstien n' his mates. But we don't have such capacity to think broad. We're happy inside our confined space. What nationalistic education n' Rana regime does is that it makes us to make us feel proud abt our country n' makes us ready to die for our country. While we're really not dieing for our country, we r dieing to make the leaders or kings get fatter. That's what is also happening with Jihadis. Ranas knew that. THat's why they managed to rule us for more than 104 yrs. We're very conditioned with our petty stuffs. See at my posting on ANIMAL SACRIFICE. People r saying it's our culture. That's what it does. It makes us BLIND. It stops us to see the clear picture n' takes us much farther from the TRUTH.

Thank you again for the history education. In Indian school I have only learned Indian history. I really need to read nepali history. It is just very interesting and sad in somewhat. Ok, I have heard so much about Kotparva, what is this???

By the way, as this thread is about Rana Regime, if you are interested in Nepalese history and want to know about the Junge's rise to power and therefore Ranas',there is a very good book by BABURAM ACHARYA, titled "फेरि यस्तो कहिल्यै नहोस्" . This book is in very good and easy nepali language and it is very interesting to read. I think you will finish it in one sitting.

Gautamji, I'm sorry but i don't want to read that book. If baburam really understands 'kotparba', then he won't be promoting all the killings going around. Actions speak lounder than words. His action is enough to tell me what kind of politics he wants. So we should choose carefully what to read; to some people it can even be harmful.

gwajyoji, how can you say that Baburam Acharya promoted killings? Have you mistaken him with BABURAM BHATTARAI, the maoist leader? My friend, BABURAM ACHARYA is one of the most famous historians of Nepal, he is called ITIHAS SHIROMANI. He died some decades ago. And if you want to know about Nepalese history, you can rely on his books. We can talk about it later after confirming whether you are mistaken or not.

Well, Gautam B., as I know history of Nepal (recent) RNA's two consecutive chiefs are Thapa rather than Rana (no insinuation, just citing the facts). Even the political parties now a days compromising our nationalities are not better than any historic wrongdoers. The dark age of Rana's was sure a backlash in Nepal's progress, though.
