Not that I really think that all men are psychopaths but it amazes me to see their capability to go on and on fussing about why women are not good and all that. In the end when they see some girl all the things they said earlier disappears. Okay I understand that there are some girls that are really a shame BUT why do men shout and spit venom at every chance they see? They would SO much want to go out with whites.. party around, get drunk and do all crazy things. When women do the same-- they are going against the nepali culture. Well answer this-- Does Nepali culture teach Men to party, drink, go have sex with multiple partners? Isn't doing all that against the Nepali culture too?


I dont think that men should look at themselves and see if they can say without hesitation that they are honest followers of nepali culture. I think that as t ime changes both men and women change.. WHY the superiority complex. This might be one of the VERY FEW thread against nepali men... BUT look for threads looking for insults to the nepali women and you see a zillion. WHY do guys fuss SO MUCH?

Bhoonte I am glad to see that you do see the idiocracy of some men. Its just that I come and log in and see sooo many men post dumb things about girls that it serisouly got to my nerves. There are few threads in here which split posters roughly down gender lines, and the majority of the time, women will get dog piled or disregarded because they are in the minority. This happens in most threads where someone has the minority opinion, but some threads just naturally pit female posters against the males. Add to that the naturally fraternal and chauvinistic overtones on a primarily male forum, and it's easy to see why it might be a hostile environment to females and their opinions at times. I don't think the desirable thing is gender, neutral nics, rather, I think a more even distribution of male and female posters would alleviate a lot of the problems and make this kurakani a more interesting place. This does serve to ensure that the female posters are among the most level-headed, reasonable and interesting people on the boards, simply because they are confident, and were able to rise above all the sophomoric bullshit that goes on here.

People are constantly referred to as manipulators backstabbers, psychopaths, stereotyped, and are often assumed to be insensitive lunkheads who just want to play around and tell fart jokes. Again, this is often true. Goes for both genders. But the problem is that since there is such a small ratio of women to men on this place, the women get the feeling that they're being dogpiled by the men, since there are approximately 100:1 men:women, and 100 men expressing their opinion that women, in general, ARE bad is just a tad bit overwhelming to the 1 woman reading those 100 posts. Stereotypes exist for a reason. You can either conform to them and reinforce everyone's perception, or ignore them and be yourself. This applies to everyone, not just women.

I do also find some threads incredibly hostile to women and some poster very misogynistic, but I also find the opposite. There are some very intelligent men and women who often post what I am thinking about a topic. I really appreciate that. I don't really think it's any of these at all. Women are encouraged and welcomed to participate, and I think most of the time they receive more attention and the majority of it favorable. :)

I agree with you in most of the part.


To others. I have seen a discussion turning into assault to partcular community. Some of them were FOB ( Fresh outta boat).

Lets just not generalize anybody. WHen you generalize there will be no solution cause you already gotta a biased opinion.

Feeling of respect is mutual. In the current context, I believe succeful realtionships are more comprimise than anything else. There should be shared responsiblity.

I believe its very immature to breed hate threads. There were couple of threads like "enough is enough" and "ugly gals have more attitude" which were completely ridiculous.

These kind of threads should be dicouraged and deal wiht the real issues underlying in our society. To my surprise, when somebody posts something thats reagarding issues, they go unnoticed.

There are lotta issues that needs to be dealt with. One of it that bugs me day in day out is flesh trade and slavery. In todays age, I cannot believe these things still exist. Lets deal with the specific issues so that we can solve it.

The title is misleading. I was hoping that with a title like "Men--psychopaths", Rhythm would be bolstering her POV(point of view) with POV(pieces of evidence), but she goes on a tangent and defends Nepali women against the invectives of us misogynistic Nepali men . What's that about?

BTW, I do like Rhthm. She sounds like a sidha sadha thiti. I like sidha sadha thitis. That's how women should be:sidha and sadha.

Remember this adage, which I just made up:men don't get pregnant, women do. Unless you're living in "Junior" land(remember the movie), I don't see how men can get pregnant. This is not a pretext for men to act like loons either. I have my own personal set of morals, and I try to abide by them.
Now all I know is:
1. I don't drink(just once in a while if somebody hands it to me, so I guess I'm a social drinker)
2. I don't smoke
3. I don't party and get drunk like a skunk.

I happen to be an American. Many of my college roommates didn't drink much either(surprise). I'm working right now, and I'm probably older than most of you teens over here.
I guess drinking is a big part of Nepali culture. I have never met people who drink like Nepalis do in these functions. Went to this party once full of Nepali people( now usually I avoid Nepalis. But it was one of those special days. My cousin was in town and he wanted us to visit him over there). To my chagrin, I see this retard drunk as hell, and the bouncer dude kept on asking him not to stir trouble. But oh noes, the dude just didn't seem to care. I just wanted to smack him, and I prolly could have with my 6'3" frame, but I controlled myself. Women were acting the same. And Nepalis are rowdy as hell. The bouncer dude sure as hell couldn't handle it.
Went to a bar once. Supposed to be another one of those Nepali functions. All I could say was, "holy smokes, batman"! Never seen so many smokers my entire life.

Guess I'm hanging out with the wrong crowd. Don't go to public Nepali parties. You just see a bunch of rubes acting it up like they're all high and mighty.
