I found my own name (#31 ), however, this name is tagged with MSc. I hope this gentleman is real and he is genuinely against Constituent Assembly.

They say
"We are professionals and students from Nepal residing in the United States and we are not affiliated with any political parties or groups."

But two names carry addresses of KTM. One of them is a close friend of mine. I don't think he is royalist or against CA. Anyway I am writing a mail to him.

Why are you denyign every thing written in the thread. havent maoist infeltreted the protest.Yesterday thousands of moaist gathered in shahid maidan in biratnagar. and i have seen protest. these protest were anything but shantipurna. Didnt you see protester burning the car , booths etc.

And isnt it good they have raised the concern about indian policy towards maoist and how they are giving asylum .At least these just dont talk like me and you and they have raised their concerns and have acted accodingly.

I am saying that existence of anti-CA Nepalis is to be welcomed for hopefully now the debates, kurakani, discussions will be sharper and more informative, as opposed to there being a mindless "if you are not for CA, then you must be pro-king" sort of simplistic mentality.

Surely, democracy recognises that Nepalis are DIVERSE and INDEPENDENT and DECENTRALIZED enough to be making their own mind without being pressured to
lean this way or other.

That said, I am increasingly perplexed and disturbed by these

seemingly intolerant,
Maoist-like verbal harshness
and quite contradictory behaviours

that some of our chest-thumping Sajha democrats display.

It's one thing to show the rest of us why and how those against CA are wrong by using logic, evidence and sound arguments.

It's ridiculous to portray those people as some sort of 'anti-democracy idiots' by:

a) publishing their names (when you have the luxury to hide behind your names)

b) calling them "थुइक्क मण्डले हो" and dismissing them.

And, yes, the law of mathematics says that whenever there's a majority, there is
a minority too.

This is #14. I thought the person, was going to petition, against the Indian intervention in Nepalese affairss. But that is okay, i am against the contituent assembly anyways. It is just waste of time and money. Everyone should just work out together now with the new develpement and stop making more causes to halt economic progress of nepal.

Quite frankly, whatever may be the intention, I do not like the tone and contents of the letter. I am not into extreme left, right or centre thing. Given the choice, I abhor the extreme of any side. Again, what is your purpose of sending it to the Indian Ambassador?

That said, why don't tell us why you do not want the CA. We can surely debate the pros and cons of CA.

If you wanted a minute of fame, as I suggested in my post earlier, write it to a newspapers and make it public through the web. That might be more effective to express your views.

So many people have died over last several decades dying for democracy. Guess what Mandales should be barred from taking part in any kind of politics in Nepal from now on, just to respect the blood of innocent so many unarmed gyaata agyaata shahida. That would be our true shraddanjali. Just like america asks question like "have you ever been a member of communist or Nazi party?" we should be asking this question in Nepal. I hate Mandales that much, you know. You can defend them as much as you want, but remember their days are gone, and so are their sympathizers'.

Everybody has the right to discuss the pros and cons of everything in democracy. But this pettition is ill-intentioned, it makes mockery of the people who particiapted in the movement for democracy. It is rediculous to ask the Indian Ambassador to stop CA in Nepal. The tone of the petition is disgusting. Any sane person reading it will outrightly discard it as desperate childish act.

I had given my name for petitioning against Indian meddling (if that is what you call its interference) in Nepal's affair.

If this list is harmless - just somebody's (not so funny)idea of a joke - then I will let it be. But, if push comes to shove, I will have a lawyer contact the person whoever is responsible for this. The investigation will start from the email that was provided on this site.

...I want to thank the reader who alerted me about this list. This is a reminder to myself why I had stopped visiting this site. It is a lesson for me if nothing else.

I take it for granted that the crowd of over million people in Nepal can decide about their 'present+future' through Constituent Assembly. What is the probability that 54 people can be right and over million Nepalese be wrong? So called "buddhi-jivi" and "desh-premi" living abroad should stop whining about CA.
