I still remember morning of September 11, 2001 when CNN repeatedly broadcasted the plane striking the twin towers. The TV was on all day and same clip was repeated again and again. My two year old nephew was watching the TV though unnoticed. The affect of 911 remained as an inerasable image in kid. He was repeating the events “mama plane hit” he was repeating for months.
This was the example of the violence and it’s after affect, just by watching the violence of such degree on TV. Imagine you are victim of such violence. You or your relative was inside the twin towers, train, bus or plane .What would you feel? How would you feel? Did you deserve death burning in the building like that? Did the innocent people deserved to be blasted into pieces???
The violence is the strength of the terrorist with out that they are nothing. It is the fear game they play. Was their so much strength on their belief had they had enough convincing power would they be in the other side of the fence?
There has been a lot of confusion between freedom fighters and terrorist.
Though they are both trying to achieve social, political and religious change, their methods are clearly different. Often the later one uses intimidation and fear to convince people at the gun point that their demands are legitimate.
Often the Terrorist are considered freedom fighters by their believers, who believe in violence .They are self proclaimed freedom fighters. The objective and goal are so dear to them that they forget the humanity, compassion and moral. Anything that comes between them and their goal is immoral and only their goal is moral. Even if ,I am stressing even if ,their demands might be some rational ,their irrational method , make their demand more ilegitimate.Most of the time these terrorist use this kind of method of violence to come to power as they know that without gun they are nothing and their demands holds no significance or legitimate to the common masses. They use the tactics of divide and rule. They would pick of fight in such issues like religion, caste, and politics.
The philosophy behind terrorist organization and member are blinded by their one belief .they do not consider any thing beside their purpose any value. A proverb reminds me “mero goru ko sorahai takka” .They often become violent stubborn.
Can we put Parchanda or Osama in place of Gandhi, Mandela or Dalai Lama?
Can we say Osama and Prachanda belong to same category as Mandela, lama or Gandhi?
See the method (peace), see the cause (freedom of country), these great leaders, freedom fighters Gandhi, Mandela and Lama made themselves heard. They didn’t use intimidation.
To make people hear these terrorists (insane people) not only destroy their life but also innocent lives of many. Their act not only leaves physical damage but also psychological.
Most of the terrorist organization is driven by some people who want to be in power. The whole power game in controlled by violent game. These selfish people in their dream of overpowering people become so blind that they do not consider other people opinion an opinion. Most of them do not believe in democracy of fighting against one. Such is the case of Muslim terrorist organization and Maoists.
Here some people consider Maoist freedom fighter; these people are perfect example of supporters of terrorism, which kind I have already mentioned before. The distuction, the loss of life is no way justification to satisfy their political demands. Just like I mentioned above , intimidation, at gun point, running in the signal of wanna be in power people is running the communist party of Nepal Maoist. After losing faith in people and democracy they opted the method of violence to put their demands .Their method makes them terrorist not their demands!!!!!!!
Is killing innocent lives justification for their demands?
Is destroying country’s infrastructure helped any Nepalese?
Is crippling economy helped poor Nepali to come above poverty?
Yet, they are self proclaimed freedom fighters working for nepali.And followers of them believe it. That is the ability of terrorist they somehow brainwash people so much they forget moral, rationality and jump in the cause of some selfish people.
Spinning your brain: There is difference between freedom fighter and terrorist. Terrorist lose their moral values, ethics and blinded by their cause but freedom fighter are always on the right side, they do the right thing!!!!!!!!!!!
