okay, let me divert kurkani to something social and light stuff. i know this question may sound absurd to many but is a vrey good question especially when your age is ripe enough for marriage and when you start thinking of wife (wives :P) and or hubby/hubbies. :P I will put forth my views later on, but let me hear from you first. What according to you is the right age for marriage for men/women? oohi purano bandhu LooTe

My take: Women: 33 Men:18 Because that is when the sexual peaks for respective sexes are achieved. Or so they say... what do I know.

Maturity matters. If that comes before 25. I think 25-28 is the best age to marry. If you marry at 35, after 15 yrs you turn 50. yukkkk

We should not ask the frivolous question as "What is the right age for Marriage???", rather we should ask ourselves, "Whether we are right for each other ???..." Some guys and girls are so mature enough by the age of late teen or early teen, but I have seen people of late 30s,40s or so on still playing childish games. I read in a paper, matrimony section, a guy looking for someone who treats him well in bed, cooks well for him everyday and leave him alone afterwards.... So in that case, age has no bar or significance right? Well, good topic though!

Just my opinion: Women: 22-26 with professional career with atleast a Bachelors degree Men: 26-29 with professional career with atleast a Bachelors degree w/70k/yr But when you think it is right and if you are ready anytime after the age of 18 is ok I guess. But I think ideally both should be over 21, so no teenager marriage.

I think a woman has to be over 25 yrs of age before marriage. I think maturity and sense of responsibility does not come until around that age. For a man, it should be over 27. Not a good idea to marry in your early 20's. I think by 27 he usually knows what kind of woman he wants to spend the rest of his life. I do not think there is or should be any upper limit to the age for marrying. Any age above what I said is good. As long as you have found a good company for the rest of your life, get married, doesn't matter if you are 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's or 70's. By 80's I think most people start getting ready to go to Heaven. :)

bhane jasto keti/keta paye pachhi (goro/kalo, modern/traditional, extrovert/introvert, graduated (to certain level)/not, aglo/hocho, employed/not, etc. with only a little compromise. otherwise it might be difficult for a person of our generation to run the family smoothly).
