Problem Specification : It should be understood that nepal’s problem lies in the form of social disparity leading to an unjust society and an unjust nepal altogether—the crux of the problem in Nepal. If we envision the eminent social difference of our society in geometrical terms, the structure turns out to be an upright pyramid—a solid figure with a polygonal base at the top and triangular faces that meet at a common point at the bottom. The common point is the “monarchy” which is at the base and hence is the root of the social problem. The supporters, loyalists and cadre of King who sleeps and wakes up with him each day come next and hence comprise the second level of the pyramidal hierarchy. Their supporters in turn fill the next level, so on and so forth. This is a “food chain” of Nepal. The “samantis” of village who suck the blood, toil and sweat of poor and “dalits” also fall in this chain as primary/secondary or tertiary parasites.
As we know, Nepal has been ruled by shah dynasty for more than 250 years now—reason is, their ancestor united the kingdom so they should/must have a share of it. The regime did not even care for think of the poor, let alone devising plans for reforming the social structure. Despite this bitter fact about monarchy, all we have been doing is reading big history books on the bravery and courage of Prithvi N. Shah and his successors.
What we did not realize is that this century old regime has injected “hormones of anti self confidence and anti self-reliance” on us. We fail to envisage our existence without the meta-master (the King). Even after so much of changes in the past few years, we deny to live independently. We may have failed to realize it but there is a problem among us—lack of confidence!
Solution : Dismantle the pyramid and establish a common one level structure with zero altitude and no hierarchy-- a structure which can house a “dalit” in sheer comfort–a structure which can give madhise an ever lasting respite—a structure which can let “mahila” and “janajati” to live with equal rights which they have been craving for centuries.
Step 1: Follow “bottom up approach” to dismantle the pyramid. Target and destroy the king, his cadres will succumb to the pressure of vacuum created at the top hierarchy. A chain reaction will be induced which will grow with time and will eventually kill the existence of the “samantis” of the society.
Declare Nepal a democratic republic in the preamble of the interim constitution. Or, hold a referendum and let people decide the monarchy’s fate.
Step 2: Restructure the state. Change the unitary state system into a federal state system based on regional autonomy.
Step 3: Impart free education to the people.
Step 4: Enforce quota system and let dalits come into the equation of equal opportunity.
In Nepal, monarchy is a regressive force, parliamentary parties or the SPA are forces at status quo, and maoists are a progressive force. If there is someone who has represented Nepal in its entirety, then they are maoists. They raised the necessity of CA back in 1990 when nepali congress (thanks to their visionary leaders) and UML came up with a rather weak constitution. Maoists asked for democratic republic when other parties were busy licking and kissing the monarch. It took 10 years for the parliamentary parties to come to the place where Maoists actually started their mission from. Now that is what visionary leaders with the likes of Baburam and Prachanda are up to.
In a nutshell, “Bahudaliya Janabad” is what we are heading into through Prachandapath. You cry or laugh about it but that is the truth and is going to decide the fate of Nepal. Don’t think that Maoists will come out as conventional communist leaders to impose monolithic communism in Nepal. They know that Mao Zedong's People's Republic and cooperative party theory cannot fulfill the needs of today's world. It cannot address today's political awareness appropriately. They are into what they call “competitive party theory” which can assure their success in 21st century.
Yes, Maoists are indeed on a role!
LooTe
P.S. Let's analyse the situation with LOGICS. Please wait until late afternoon for my response though, I am gonna JUSTIFY Maoists violence too!! hehe...
