okay....i posted this in another thread, but since no one gave a damn (:P), i am posting it as a new thread just to give this topic a better visibility.

i like feminish talks. :P...there is always sth interesting in it. be it pertaining to beauty, body, period or sex hehe :P

let me not waste too much time and put forth my question of the millenium right away: no offence hai...but i LOVE psychology....and i am sure many men would love to listen to what women have to say. Let's see who is the smartest/wittiest/cunning hehe...lady out there :p

how does it feel to be a woman? i mean you know what i am saying! heheheh :P :P
1) One liner answer is fine. (as long as they are witty)
2) Descriptive answers have more points.(as long as they make sense)

"To be or not to be, that is the question".....Loote's question reminded me of Hamlet's state of mind..anyways...coming back to the post...the first time I read the post, I found it surprisingly amusing. But, after putting some thought to it-I'd say it feels great. If given a choice, I wouldn't have opted for the alternate. Being a woman, I've realized who I am and who I can be. There is no societal pressure or high expectations...which gives me the freedom to spread my wings and sore high up into the sky. The status does however, come with few draw-back-I am expected to act a certain way, but again, in the conventional society, nobody cares...Being a woman is more than just flaunting the physical attributes, it is also about experiencing the emotional turmoil when the first wave of biological changes kicks in, or about wearing numerous hats at the same time..well, what more can i say...I am just proude to be a woman!

i did not realise or question myself then (when i was a kid) BUT now when i look back

1) i wonder how my mom felt when she breast-fed me.

2) i wonder why my cousin sis could not stand like me to attend the "nature's call"

and i still wonder,

1) how does it feel to be at the receiving end while making love?

2) how does it feel to be a pregnant? and how painful is it to deliver a child?

3) how my mom must have felt to bid me goodbye when i had to leave her to come to this place? how did she feel while she was crying and waving her hands? how does she feel to talk with her only son over the phone and what makes her cry while talking with him still today after years?

4) how does it feel to be an innocent sister of a naughty bother? how does it feel to be slapped and smacked by him at times? What makes her still feel that his brother is the best brother in the world.

5) how does it feel to be kissed by the first love? how exciting is it to be loved by a man? how much does it hurt to be betrayed and what does it take to betray a man?

--my answer(?) to those who are wondering why i opened this stupid thread.

Yes,as meera says it feels better than being a man.
..........

Loote,as a matter of fact one just can't say how she feels being a woman. It depends on various situations.

When with my parents,I'm a daughter. At that time,I feel loved, pampered ........oh what not.I'm always their little princess no matter how old I'm .They r always there for me no matter what I do.They r unslefish and even now when I'm in my late twenties, they r still giving me.

When with my hubby dear, I feel loved & sometimes not.Sometimes I am selfish, sometimes I am not.Sometimes I love him, sometimes I hate him, sometimes feel like divorcing him,and most of the times to be with him till death do us apart. It's emotions and time and situations that bring all these feelings. So,it depends.

I'm a mom of young kids,3 years old and 5 months old.So when I am a mom,I feel I am their protector, giver and at that time I feel different.I love them with all my heart. I was never known to have patience, but with my kids I am that.I don't expect anything from them. All I want is to make them happy and to make them independent .I try to give them the best. They r always on my mind.

When at work,I feel I'v to do my best, perform my best.I want raises,I want promotions just like everybody else.I am sometimes jealous ,sometimes proud. On mondays I don't feel like going to work.I hate mondays, but love fridays.Sometimes hate my job, sometimes love it.

With my friends,I feel relaxed.I can talk and share with them .I can cry over their shoulders,I can laugh till tear comes from my eyes.I ease their pain, they do mine.We share, talk, help each others. So I always seek the moment to be with them.

With my siblings,I am always like myself. They know me since we were babies. We love,we hate,we quarrel, with discuss,we r there for each other. We never agree with each other yet when with other people we r with them ,we support them.I know they r there for me to listen to me,to help me out in this world no matter where they r.So,with my siblings I feel I have somebody in this world who know me,who care for me.

So,the list keeps going. We feel differently as per time, situations and conditions .One can't just say how it feels to be a woman in a single sentence. We r not just a woman here,we r daughter,wife/gf,sister,mother,friend,relative,student,neighbor,and so & so...................

All in all, what I can say is as a woman I feel happy :-)
