I used to think just like most of you guys think about China but after watching some documentries and moveis (Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion, Tibet: Windham Hill, Free Tibet, Seven Years in Tibet). I watched those a year ago and  I really feel sorry for em'. I always used think that China is our big uncle which we always use that card against India but China is not that innocent that we think here. I know a lot of Tibet people who got their passport from Nepal (some of em' where born in Nepal) and they can fluently Nepali (mostly in NY) but they always pretend that they can't speak Nepali and they don't know the Nepalese culture and traditions. What took my nerve is that China killed 2.5 Tibetens and I think it's not right. I always support the democratic fight all over the world and I am truely with the Tibetens right now. I know some Tibetains really are an arse hole but it's not the point here. Killing so many innocents is not right. China would do the same thing to Nepal if he gets his chance and that's what they did in Tibet. Some of us think that it's not a big deal but what would be the big deal is that Chinese people will be all over the Neapal taking all the lands and economic secotrs. We will be the second class citizens just like Tibetains are facing in their own land. I always appereciate China for what they did and are doing in Nepal but they could be worst than India if they get their chance. I don't think that China will easily give up. They will never give up but what I think is Tibet should be like Hong Kong. Native people should have the rights to do whatever they want in their own land (not illegal and activities against the mainland; China). It's just my thought though.

You don't have to go too far just go to Thamel, Kingsway, Swoyambhu and Boudha where still people are making living with the help of Tourism by selling Tibetans Stuffs.

All I'm saying is you don't have rights to ask the Tibetans to leave Nepal. They have been living in Nepal almost 50 yrs. They are helping our economy. Come on guys, the information that you got from your friends at the CHYA PASAL or your outdated grandfather's complaint is not going to make you look smart here. Get the real facts. The city Tibetans in KTM can be of Nepali origin; many other caste, because of their CLOSED and ignorant views to other faith, easily believe them as from Tibet. They just can't stand any other beside their caste.Regarding birth and claims, I've seen many Indian born and raised in Nepal who claims as Indian, many Anglo Indian do that too. It's not just Tibetans.And about illegal lifestyle, well let's not talk about it. Who's NOT doing illegal things in Nepal?
To think Chinese are our friends is naive and simply idiot. It is easy to open your mouth full of complaint when you're from the city. If you've NOT been along the northern part of Nepal, you've no idea what China is capable of. Along the region of Dolpho/Mustang, Chinese have already started building road and trucks are passing freely in.People along those villages have no clue, neither they see the threat. Even if it meant no harm, there has to be an awareness/questions of their ENTRY into our country.

I AM Nepali. Lets get the facts straight. How did Tibetans hurt NEPAL? Tibetans taught Nepali how to make Carpets, Thankas, Silver Jeweleries and many more. They brought Tourism. I really doubt that you are from Thamel. If you are from Thamel I don't have to explain these things to you. Thamel, Kingsway, Hanumandhoka, Swoyambhu and Boudha have many Carpets,  Thankas  and Jeweleries shops which sell those items. These are the main business items of those stores. Those shop owners are mostly Nepalese who learned from Tibetans. The items like Thankas, Carpets, Silver Jeweleries are the main products we as Nepalese export to European countries like France, Germany, Italy and Asian countries like Japan, South Korea. Not only that when these Tourists come to Nepal, they stay in hotel, so the people who are related to hotel businesses also get jobs,  The money made by those Nepalese spend on clothes and food and entertainment which will also benefit Indian Marwari. So more or less everyone is benefited from Tibetans. First do research on those things then write.

So, you judge whole ethnic group or community like Tibetans  by some of your personal experience. Wow what a smart person!!!!!!!!!!!!!. What a way to think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
