Thanks for sharing. One of the best stories that I have read here in Sajha. I can just imagine what you must have gone through.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. It's a reality that there are no words that would comfort you after coming through all this. But, it's also true that Time is both the creator and healer of all wounds. It will have to heal yours. Wish you all the best for the days to come.

"its better for me to be dead once than dying everyday."  Indeed a heart-wrenching and poignant story .

A very painful story indeed. I have a lump in my throat. I also appreciate you sticking with her through thick and thin which is what made this story all the more agonizing.

Though I read this story last night, I could not find the right words to say about such a heart wrenching story. The fact that this really happened to someone made it even more difficult to comment on. Very well written with emotions that you really felt, not a lot of people have the gift of being able to express themselves as nicely as you have. Saying that, I think you should slowly let go of the past.. as you have done what you needed to do. It was very nice of you to be with her in her times of need... there would people who did not have the courage to do that. Also, I know it is easy said than done.. but you need to give a chance to the life you have ahead of you. :) Best wishes.

I could only imagine what you'd been through.  To let go someone so close and dear to your heart is not easy but I hope you'd cherish the moments you shared with her and treasure 'em all your life.  Thank you for opening your heart and sharing  with us.

Sajan bro, No words in this world can comfort you, its very unfortunate but I think the situation is your enemy ,not you. you have been through a lot. Your love for her is pure evergreen and hers is true for you too, take that and cheerish it. Hope you find some one who will love you as much or even more and you do the same too. Sapana will love to see you happy my friend. TIME IS THE BEST HEALER untill and unless you let it. You deserve it. Peace bro

SAAJAN bro, You are my answer to those people who think that true love doesn't exist in this world anymore..... I really would like to meet you someday.....i am counting the pieces of my heart that broke right now... I dont see any reasons for you to blame yourself unless you go on and forget (SAPANA) ....Please keep her in your heart....She must have really been an angel that was sent for some time to decorate your life.....I salute your honesty, your memories and your love... take care..

saajan bro,
my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you. as someone said, no word or person can heal the wound inflicted upon an individual by the gruesome destiny. so i would be lying if i say i can feel your pain. but yes, i can surely imagine the mental trauma that you must be going through all these years after that tragic mishap.

having said that, i see the other side and probable future extension to this story and find you lucky in that respect. lucky because you got to live (albeit for a brief period) with the true love for your beloved. not everyone is fortunate enough to get that. trust me on this. and the memories of your 'sapana' are still young and will remain with you forever. no one can steal that from you. no one.

so please allow me to ramble a bit more on how i see this.

time is very strong--as much as it is considerate and compassionate, it's cruel and unforgiving. in your case,  it stole 'sapana' from you when you had just started your relation with her. with most of the other folks the way it happens is: you meet with a girl. you fall for her because of her hair. or eyes. or nose. or lips. or heart. or 'you-know-what'. i am in the 72nd floor. the view is exotic and the feeling so mesmerizing. wow,  great. good job. enough. come to terms with the reality now coz in this mortal world, everything is fleeting including you, yourself. as much as it's easy to fall for a person, it's equally easy or sometimes easier to come out of the illusion . doesn't take long. days. weeks. few years at the most.

you once liked her hair but now you hate its smell. you fell for her eyes but blinded by her true-self (or yours own for that matter). you adored her lips but somehow managed to slip your tongue into it and now you're muted for good. you liked her curves but failed to decipher the curves in her attitude. so on and so forth.

gone. good days gone. now only the reality. either bear with it and move along with her baggage or take a different path, be a sole traveler and remain happy ever afterwards. hahaha..

so, my friend. it's all good. it's how you look at it, that matters!

i hope you understand my lil untimely wannabe-funny side in what i just said. my best wishes are with you.

OOOHHHHHH MYYYYY GODDDDDD, SAAJAN ( I know your real name and I know who you are, as you wished, I am not going to disclose your real name here). I don't know if you remember me but I used to travel on the same bus. I know all about that incident but when I read your story I could not help but cry. It was a really tragic incident for our whole group who knew sapana and you. I can feel how bad you must be feeling but Please move on! Life goes on! It has been more than 5 years since she left us, and you know we all be going there one day, it is just a matter of time. So, Please try to focus ahead.

I don't know if you knew about this but my best friend in our class had a huge crush on you but she was too nervous to tell you, and asked me If I could tell you on her behalf but I said her "you have to tell him yourself". But when she found out you are with Sapana, she was heart broken and she was really upset with Sapana because she thought Sapana stole you from her. but when this incident happened she was the one who cried more than any of us.

So, the bottom line I want to tell you is you are such a caring, good looking, honest, and smart guy, any girl would love to be with you. There is a life ahead of you, and I am sure you will find a perfect love in near future.

Saajan, I don't really spend time reading threads, but my GF mentioned me about this story. Man, I just can not believe what went through your life. I am so sorry to hear that. You have written it in a very emotional way, it really made me so sad.

To be honest with you, my GF asked me if I loved her as much as you loved sapana, and honestly there is no way I can love my GF as much as you loved Sapana. I only had read stories about Romeo but I think you are the true Romeo. God bless you.

Mr Saajan,

It's deeply touchy story and I really appreciate that you dared to publicize it. I undersand how difficult it is to endure such ordeal. I have also my own kind of story though it's neither ended nor going smoothly. I would like to talk to you in person. Could you please email me?

Very heart touching story. Do not worry about Sapana's death because she is not dead. She has only changed her body.
