Kings still active in country: Minister Bhusal
Kantipur Report MORANG, Jan 14 - Minister for General Administration Pampha Bhusal Wednesday said that things could not be done in the general administration as expected because there are many ‘kings’ at present also. “Though the country has been republican, in many bodies of the state there are vestiges of former King Gyandendra,” said she.
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists Association Morang Chapter today, Minister Bhusal said that because of the difficulties in the implementation of the law, it has been difficult to work.
The minister further charged that the ones one could not take up the change have been trying to “muddle the water” in one way or the other, and added, “The assassination of Janakpur-based woman journalist Uma Singh is the recent instance of this.”
