Chealski parked the bus in front of goal in that 2nd leg, too. Even when Barca were one man down, they did not attack but played ultra-defensive n Barca got the job done with only shot of the game.

I hope ManU do not play like last yrs' semi, and attack more. If they do, Barca will get many shots on goal.
Defensively, ManU is rock solid, but U never kno wat Messi, Iniesta and Henry do the next with the ball.
It will be tough one for both of 'em.

Its a very tough game...Man UTD have a very strong back + only one key player unavailable..(fletcher),,Don't forget Rooney Could be big threat ..He is quick..he is a working horse..he is in back in front..He have very targeted shots as well.I think rooney has been overshadowed by Ronaldo n Messi..he is tremendously strong player..Tavez have scored almost every game he played..Man UTD back is very strong so its not easy to break that defense ...

Barca 4 key players are unavailabel..Alves n Marquez will be greatly Missed..that leaves a big hole in Barca Defense.If Man UTD score in the begining then It goes Man UTD way then it will be impossible to crack Man UTD defence.N we saw that on Barca- Chelsea game..Barca had a lot of possesion but..not a single shot on post..

So Barca should change there tactics to suits there poor back..and also focus on attacking..Then it will be a Barca night..

Both team have stronge attackers n midfield..Man UTD have Better defense so anything could happen..

I  m liverpool fan..and always against ManUTD ..so want Barca to win

FC Barcelona and Manchester United FC are ready to put on a spectacle worthy of a place in history when they meet in the UEFA Champions League final in Rome, the Eternal City.

Stirring finale
Two of European football's most evocative names, the newly crowned champions of England and Spain, cross paths at the Stadio Olimpico with United aiming to become the first team in 19 years to successfully defend the European Champion Clubs' Cup and the first in the UEFA Champions League era. Having already lifted the Liga and Copa del Rey this month Barcelona have the chance to claim an unprecedented Spanish treble. It promises to be one of the more stylish gladiatorial contests staged in the city of the Colosseum, with Sir Alex Ferguson saying simply: "It has the capability to be a fantastic final."

United have never lost a European Cup final while two of this competition's three previous showpiece matches in Rome ended in an English victory. According to Sir Alex, another success is essential to justify his club's ever-growing stature. "I've repeated many times we should have done better in Europe. To be in the pantheon of great teams, the prerequisite is to win this cup. It's an opportunity for us to go alongside a lot of the great teams. This team has that type of future – it's a young squad with the right type of experience which can do well in the next few years. Hopefully we can endorse that."

Ferdinand return
Captain Rio Ferdinand is fit again after a calf injury, although United will be without the suspended Darren Fletcher as they bid to become the first side since AC Milan in 1989 and 1990 to land back-to-back European Cups. "We're good at doing things for the first time," Sir Alex added with pride. "It's interesting and unusual that no one has defended the trophy since the Champions League started, because in the history of the European Cup it was done regularly. We have an opportunity to change that and hopefully we can take it."

Glorious campaign
While the United boss is at the end of his 35th season as a manager, Josep Guardiola is concluding his first and, though two trophies are already in the Camp Nou cabinet, the 38-year-old – 29 years Sir Alex's junior – is not finished yet. "It's been a great season but it can still finish badly, there's a lot still to do. In football things can change very suddenly. I've been very lucky to have a squad of players who are very good tactically and technically. We want to show how good we are and how hard we've worked by winning tomorrow."

Defensive reshuffle
Barcelona's usual full-backs Daniel Alves and Eric Abidal are suspended and Rafael Márquez has a knee injury so Yaya Touré will drop back to central defence with captain Carles Puyol filling in at right-back, Seydou Keita on the left and 20-year-old Sergi Busquets replacing Keita in midfield. Andrés Iniesta and Thierry Henry should be fit after thigh and knee problems respectively, with Guardiola adding: "If they're OK they will play – if they're not, they won't. I think they'll be there. why?


a) Messi plays poorly against English teams - 0 goals in 10 games, and
if Chelsea can keep him quiet, we know Evra, shielded by Rooney/Park
can.



b) It will be interesting to see Barca play without Dani Alves as he
supports Messi so well. With two/three of their first choice defenders
missing, Ronaldo and co. will fancy their chances, and it's pretty
certain i think that United will score.



c) Man U have the best defence in club football.



d) Man U know the Barcelona gameplan - passing and attacking.



e) Man Utd have the fresher experience of the final. Barca were there 3
years ago, with a more different squad. Man U have the same players and
will be hungry for the back-to-back titles.



So Man U have the edge.

You even dont know what football is all about. Otherwise you would not have told three consecutive league winners and last time Champions league winners a lucky team. Ya team has to be lucky but yet they have to play well. Barca play really good but still manchester are very good team to compete them. And if u go back and see u could see how many times manchester has beaten barca.
manchester won 3,  barca 1 and draw 2.
But it would be a great final today as both are playing really nice. It'll prove who is better.

Currently many people are questioning about the form of Barca and Messi based on their 3 draws in final CL games and 2 defeats in final league games. It's the perfect time to show who is the best of world no matter what is the past performance. I hope Barca and Messi can shine today.

See, I told ya'll. If Manchester play even a lil bit open, Barca will have shots on goal. Even tho, They dint have their first choice defenders they dint concede any. But ManU did scare me during opening mins tho. Seemed like Eto'o had been saving his goal for this cup n Messi - his header.
