I would really appreciate if somebody could help me out by sharing your experiences if your visa stamping process has gone through administrative processing. How long did you have to wait if you were issued a 221 (g). I would really appreciate responses.

Finally got my H-1B stamped after 4 and half months of wait. It was indeed a very frustrating and depressing wait but finally it got over. Although most of the people are lucky to go through a positive experience in terms of H-1B stamping, it's always better to think of the worst case scenarios while deciding to go home for stamping. Screw you 221 (g)!:-) Thanks for all the support!

i was also issued a 221(g) yellow form, few boxes are checked and they are asking for documents. my employment situation is employer-vendor-client. Anyone got yellow form and got approved. whats the difference between all these yellow/white/pink 221g forms!

how about holds for security (background check) reasons? my case is a bit different. i passed the interview for F1 visa. but since i was arrested jan 13 2006 (but not convicted ... the case was not even registered in the court hence dismissed), the consular is further looking into the matter.... what makes my case worse is that my arrest was for controlled substance. now i just want my passport back since i am scheduled to travel to UK from work later this week. any idea what i should do?

HI Experts throw lights on my case.

I did master from usa and work in my field of mechanical engineeirng with direct employer. I received 221g with pink slip. online status says it is on administrative processing. My return ticket is on 14th and my interview was on 27th oct. what is the tentative timeline for PIMS association.

Thank you!!! Never thought it will happen to me I was shocked.
