I am thinking of opening a kiosk in a shopping mall. But I dont have any idea and  things involved in it.
Would you please help me ?
What is the process involved in it?
Which business would be better ?

And aile pillowpet mall haru ma purano item bhaisakyo....timro mall najikai ko wallmart ma jau, check if they have pillowpets or not. ...if they do then think a lot before going into it...plus mall ko item ma 300% bhanda kum margin bhaye tyo item bekar ko huncha.....i had a kiosk where my cost was 3.75 and i used to sell for 19.99

Plus big stores have started doin pillowpets and pillowpets chai christmas taka maximum jancha aaru belama bhanna sakinna...of course employee pay ta uthcha but i hope u are not planning just to cover the cost but make some money too right

Regardin paperwork, state capital ma gayera busimess name register gara, its 10 dollar i guess, tyo register gardai ma ke hunna, for address give mall address, and wait for confirmation from mall...mall ko managing department ko head lai nai call gara...he she can give u ur tentativ cost right at the moment....and bargain wid them....they act like fish market...my rent was way higher than the person next to me coz i didn knew how to bargain....

@Dukhe tyo mall maa ta chaina but yeah you are right i have seen pillow pets at walmart. Well do you have any idea of selling different stuff?

 Oh wow. I was under the impression that F-1 visa holders couldn't do it. I guess the smart ones can always find loopholes in the American system. 

Dukhe, why were the businesses closed down, If I may ask? 

 And cl****, I think you can get a permit from the city hall or something...it shouldn't be that hard..and I think it costs about 100 bucks in California..not sure about your state. 

In my state it was 10 dollars when i got my permit...so as footyfan said permit is not expensive....the first business i did it on christmas so after that i had no plan of doin that because that was a huge christmas item....feri ma pare f1, gas station ma 90 ghant hapta ko handai koleg gayera kamako paisa le kholeko business, and u kno financial problems to f1s, jaba samma kamaucha kamaucha and mall starts goin slow or sometimes if u have to put money from pocket to pay the rent and inventory....sarai garo huncha kinaki koleg fee ta tauko ma chadai cha.....and my last business was good but i was plannin to go home, take break from everythings and somebody paid me lot more than i invested so i sold the other one....right now m totally broke so have no plans of doin business either...and when i started i used all my money plus sold my car and even laptops too to come up with the money....and cl71563, i have a idea, if i write it here my friend will know who i am so if you want to know email me....i will be more than happy...actually i have plenty of good ideas for mall...only thing i dont have is dollars to come up with...lol

haha. So you think your friend wouldn't be able to tell you know you are based on what you've told us so far? (two different businesses...) 

Where you from Furke? Iowa? Arkansas or WV? 10 bucks for the permit sounds ridiculously cheap. Btw, I'd appreciate if you could shed some lights on my own thread about launching a venture....

Is easy, u dnt have to pay and there was something that was showing 300 dollars online for me and i skipped that which didnt caused me a trouble...

And u dnt even need ein, only thing u need is a business permit which you can get from state capital....and as far as i remember that was just 10 bucks at that time, its just registering a business name...and only paper you would need is that.....mall gives everything else....

But may be more in your place hai.......ani wallmart ma pillowpet bhaye ni u can still make money because mall ko kiosk ma koi yo saman kinchu bhanera aaudainan....i had only few customers that came looking just for my items in mall...thulo store haru ma saman kinda kiosk haru bat pass hunchan ani tei belama aakha lagera saman kinchan....bt pillows ma chai achel designs haru badhi aaucha and ppl can customize whatever they want on thrm like lady bee ko mathi kunni k k rakhera silaune...and even for same money...so they would more prefer that....rather than our stuffs that which is just what u get from suppliers....

 Dukhe, what about the cabinets for the kiosk in the mall? You know...how much do those cost?

Depends what u wanna put....homeland ma kisim kisim ka cabinets painchan....alikati creative bhayera idea lagauna bhane khasai mahango pardaina....aaba k chai rakhne ho tesma depend garcha....try lookin in homeland ...budget low cha bhane 2 4 saya ma kiosk ready huncha....and u can talk to mall paila so that u dn have to do everythings....

 Ke ho yaar yo homeland bhanya? I've never heard of it...

Pillow ko lagi chai setup cost ke pardaina because mall le gardeko setup ma ramrari nai milcha...
