Hello Friends............. Namaste................
In 1 month, I am moving to Canada under Federal Skilled Workers program, and looking for some expert advice
How does the credit scores from another country works in Canada................... if you have a good credit score in U.S. is it gonna count in Canada and help to get credit cards/financing from Canada? What if you have a bad credit in U.S, how is it going to affect the canadian credit ratings.
I need some genuine advice guys.
Cheers.

Thanks nepal_matribhumi so you are also on computer major and from where are you applying to QSW. I also heard from someone that Mr Cohen is a well reputed attorney for canadain immigration. I looks like his timeline is perfect as he mentioned to me for quebec it will take year or year & half to process the whole case.

Just for your information.
I sent my application to cohen. I was the main applicant. However, after seeing my document they said it would be better to put my wife as a main appicant as she is a nurse. By putting nurse as a main appicant significanty reduces the application time.

I was going through some of your comments, and i find it relevant to gather some useful suggestion from you guys. My brother is in Japan as a skilled worker and working as a cook there for 2 years now. Now, there are job offers from Canadian restaurants to process for Canadian Visa (Skilled Worker) but also asking huge money in return. Is there a way he could apply for PR without third party involved or any job offers? I believe its possible to apply on your own too, please suggest the possible ways to do so. Also, at last, what could be the advantage of having job offer if you are already qualified on the list of Skilled Workers that qualifies.
Thank you for any suggestion you may provide.

I do not think it is necessary to pay any law firm for this process.
There is a checklist and required documents in Canada immigration official page. You have to follow it whether you take lawyers or do it by yourself.
After that its just a wait game.
Law firm can't do anything after that either. You just have to wait for your turn.
At first I was also thinking about law firm, but then I came across canada immigration forum. People over there help you with everything you need. Instead there are already 100s of thread that will explain the process.
Do not waste $2,500 --- $3,000 with this law firm.
This is just my thought.
Goodluck everyone.
