God and Human: A fantasy

Commander:  Captain, after 10 light years in space, engine is showing the signs of wear and tear, we may need to build new engine for our spaceship

Captain: How long this engine will last?

Commander: Indicators show that we may need new engine after approximately one light year. Last time we needed new engine after travelling for nine light years. This engine served us well

Captain: Start scanning this part of the Universe, Let me know when we find planet/s containing Moblotungstaplaite (a rare alloy of Molybdenum, Tungsten and Platinum, presumed to be formed during the formation of universe, which when magnetized can hold antimatter).

Captain: First officer, if we are unable to find the Moblotungstaplite in approximately one light year’s time, we shall return to our planet using backup engines, please make arrangements for this.
First Officer: Aye Captain

Captain:  SITREP please (Situation Report)

Commander:  Captain long range radars show that there are two planets that most probably contain materials we need. We will be able to confirm it after 0.1 light years.

Captain:  Keep me updated

Commander:  Aye Captain

Captain:  SITREP please

Commander: Captain, it is confirmed that two planets in nearby solar system contain the moblotungstaplite.

Captain: Scan for the atmosphere and life signs,

Commander: Our scanner shows that one of the planet have breathable nitrogen atmosphere containing about 75% of nitrogen 24% of oxygen, 0.3% of carbon dioxide and other traceable gases and lots of water.
Second planet is little bit smaller than this one, it has mild atmosphere, not enough breathable nitrogen but about 24% of oxygen and rest is helium.

Captain: Any intelligent life signs?

Commander: No Captain, the smaller planet  have only unicellular life signs, Bigger one shows  plenty of different life signs but no intelligent life signs.

Captain: First officer, prepare arrangements for landing. We shall land in bigger planet with breathable nitrogen.

Captain: First reconnaissance team will get out of the ship, make a security assessment then rest of us will go. Commander you will lead the reconnaissance team

Commander:  Aye Captain.

Commander completes the reconnaissance of the planet. Captain is holding the team meeting inside the ship

Captain: Commander please debrief us about the planet

Commander: After completing the recon I have prepared few hundred slides about the planet.
The planet has nitrogen rich atmosphere good enough for us to breath. The planet is inhabited by wide range of animals and plants with different physical size but very primitive brain.

Science Officer: Unlike us the animals in planet use oxygen to convert food to energy. They eat complex food and using oxygen they breakdown it into simpler one.
Plants use oxygen, carbon dioxide and water to make food.  They use simple molecules like water, carbon dioxide and sunlight to produce complex molecule. This planet has enough moblotungstaplite to make at least 10 engines.
Commander winds up his presentation after showing all slides, photographs, video of the planets he has taken during the recon.

Human gatherings in all five different geographical areas:

Human Leader: We had audience with god today. They created us. They come from the place called “Heaven”. It is a very beautiful place where there is no hunger, no tiredness and no disease. They don’t fight like us. If we do good Karma we go to “Heaven” when we die, and live happily ever after. But if we do bad karma Gods won’t allow us in “Heaven”. They will send us to “Hell”, where there is more suffering than here. “Hell” is terrible place.

Another Human Leader: Unlike us they are not created by someone else. No one knows who created them. May be they created themselves. Unlike us they don’t die. They have something that makes them immortal. They will come to us as human when we need them and enlighten us. From today we will call devil to human who do bad karma and punish them following the tradition of Gods.

Meeting in situation room

Science Officer: Permission to speak captain

Captain:  Go ahead

Science Officer: In my opinion we need to erase some of the memory about us from human brain Captain.

Captain: Why so?

Science Officer: Creation of life and endeavor to find the origin of the creation is the main driving force for the intelligence in the universe. This is the first time we created an intelligent species from a comparatively less intelligent one. By telling them how they were created may be we took the entire thrill they get from their advancement in future. Remember how our ancestors were thrilled when they found the origin of life?

Social counselor: I agree with science officer captain. If we expect them to develop into a full fledge intelligent life form. We should take back from them, the memory of their creation.  They will be looking for us in future whereas survival of our species is now approximately 1000 generations.

We already lost the capacity to reproduce sexually. As we all know using present cloning technique we will not be able to survive more that 1000 generations which is approximately one hundred thousand earth year.

Future human generation will be very much disappointed to find that their creators already gone.

Captain: Science officer tells me that our gene contains the memory about us, how it is possible to erase that knowledge?

Science Officer: It is not necessary to erase the knowledge contained within the gene captain. The memory within the gene will lead humans towards two different directions. One memory will inspire them to look for their creator. In the same time the acquired knowledge within the same gene will inspire them to find the origin of life, not their creator. This friction will be a great driving force for technological advancement of human society Captain. They may go beyond the creation, the “origin”

But if they remember we created them, the progress might put to a dead end.

Captain: Sound convincing. How do we do that?

Science Officer: Humans have developed special taste for alcohol Captain. After work they always ask us for alcohol. In fact drinking alcohol is slowly becoming social event.  Our scanning of their brain shows that after consuming alcohol the electrical impulse in human brain that generates the current of sense usually fails to hit the target, as a result after consuming alcohol humans frequently miss their target. Sense is there but execution of sense fails to materialized

Captain: Carry on

Science Officer: We will mix our memory eraser compound in alcohol and serve human during some ceremony. Our memory eraser will not be able to erase all the memory pertaining to us but it will cast a doubt about us. I think that is more than enough to develop different philosophy about life, creation and origin.

Captain: Make sure that it will leave no side effect on humans.

Science Officer: We will do many experiments before carrying out real operation Captain.

Captain: Very Well

Commander: All preparation for our departure is complete captain. Everything is as per schedule. We have five new engines, and materials to build four more.

Science Officer: All our experiments on human worked fine captain. The last experiment will be working fine too. We have tested 101 times in our laboratory. It is safe

Social Counselor: Humans are showing very promising sign that this species one day will lead the universe, if they don’t make the same mistake our ancestors once did. They will continue long after our species parish. Long live the human, our creation.

Captain: I hope so. Let’s complete the checklist for departure.

A big party was being held in all five geographical locations. Alcohol with special taste was being served together with many delicious foods. Humans were trying everything served to them.

All humans were drunk and sleeping

After one hour

A Huge metal body was rising up in earth’s atmosphere. It soon disappeared into deep space.

Next day after sunrise

Some humans wake up. They started to look at each other

They saw some structure around them, they started to think: What are they?

 nothing out of ordinary in terms of literary term. Having watched numerous documentary about ancient aliens, even story seems too mundane. try reading "Chariots of Gods". It will give a lot of insight about this fantasy.

Yes, many stories have been written on many interesting topics, God, creation of human, space is being some  of them. And, people will continue to write on these subjects in years to come. If we put lid on the topics saying that numerous things have already been written than new Idea will not flourish.

I agree the story is not a virgin one. But, I tried to input some ideas which were for the first time. Like

1. Nitrogen breathing gods

3. Energy metabolism in species god involving nitrogen rich compounds. Human and plants use glucose as a major source of energy which gives 4 Kcal/gram whereas hydrazine gives lot more energy 17 Kcal/gram that is why I indirectly hinted the  nitrogen  catabolism in species god .

 

 Hydrazine and water are very similar in their physical properties

Hydrazine exists naturally, although for different purpose, in algae and tobacco. Life forms on earth already have system to produce it naturally.

Hence body structure of god and human are not that different even though they are different species. Similarly in order to genes and hormones effective on humans they need to have metabolism which does not go against the major fluid us human use (water)

I didn’t include those things which I was thinking while writing the plot, because it may be too technical for the ppl from different field.

3. Existence of heaven and hell in a different twist.

4. Humans partly (not entirely) created by another species called God. (Not god as in religious books)

5. Why it is not possible for human to live in Heaven and Hell

6. Why we always look for the god or origin? Why not our brain stops thinking about creation etc. It is because all the memory of our creation is stored in a tiny part inside the nucleus called nucleolus. This nucleolus is equivalent to ROM (some ppl also refer to it as firmware) in modern day electronics. Because of this firmware we humans are always looking for GOD. These concepts are mine.

Plot style is inspired by Star trek voyager as I previously mentioned. Many terms used in the plot are the terms they use in my institute. I also used some of the post titles which are in use in my institution.  I thought I was working in very exciting   place, but for some of you it turned out to be mundane. Difference in taste, I believe.

I believe I have read Chariots of gods may be three years back. There are other books too. This is my first attempt, maybe it is unfair for “Chariots of god” to compare with my fiction.

My story is concentrated on creation of human by using alien gene. Limitations of oxygen metabolism, and disappearance of dinosaurs.

One insight from one school of thoughts is not enough my friend. For such complex matter, various “insights” exists until we define it. So what insight we got from Chariots of gods must not put lid on this complex matter.

I believe many stories/plots yet to be written on this complex matter.

But I donot concur with other posters who said you have to be good as writer "A" or your story should be good as book "B".  You should have told them, 'if I were a pro, why would I be posting in sajha, duh!!!'

Thanks for noticing the improvement. Some people  fail to see the seriousness of the attempt, the message within and differences.They will learn in time. There are many others who understand all these. This positive energy helps  me move forward.
