Last year, while I was in Nepal, I saw vidya sinha in a tv serial. Don't remember which one. Zarina Wahab is also doing tv serials -- i saw some episodes of "Tumhari Disha" where she plays a mother's role, on Zee Tv.

As for Zareena Wahab, I could not locate her tv serial although I believe I had heard about it sometime ago....but yes....she was in Subhash Ghai's Kisna few years ago.

here's my small collection for today.

1) Lambi Judai. A heart wrenching song from the movie-hero. i just love the flute play in the middle. it has an uncanny melody and it gives me a strong urge to go back to the memory lane of the past. :-)



2) A tragic song. very apt to the condition when someone loses his/her love.



3) And this one is one of my all-time-favorites. there is nothing fancy about the lyrics but its simplicity is its assets. it just plays in the background in the movie and the video says it all. the versatile singer- kishore da sings it with so much softness and panache which is quite remarkable. yes indeed, 'baton baton main' hi pyar ho jata hai, one does not even realize :P

Many many thanks for posting that "mausam" song, Sanjeev Kumar was one of the most talented actors in Bollywood...another song from Mausam.

One of the great things about this film was, Tina Munim, the then glamor queen was Pitted against one of the finest actors Amol Palekar...and she executed it with perfection....living up with the expectations in the movie.

Does anyone have the slower version of "dil dhoodhta hai"???

Dil dhoonta hai phir wohi fursad ke raat din .....that's melody incarnate! Simply superb! Madan mohan has done 2 renditions of the same song, both equally sumptious melodies! And Gulzar .... no words can describe the picturesque beauty of his lyrics for this song .... he actually captures the seasons -- the "mausam" -- and the romance, in this song!

Sanjeev kumar is my absolute favorite actor. I've often told my parents that were he alive now, I'd have proposed to marry him! His sheer talent simply takes my breath away .....

For Khabardaar, a song from adalat. I've loved this song for a long time. One of Madan Mohan's classics. Lyrics are so poetic!
