What a crazy Sunday eh! Amazing things happened today and some that were quite predictable as well. Some things that I thought about the day. Ok, Peyton Manning played like just another day for him. Personally I am a Denver Fan and really really wanted them to win, but a perfect game by the Champ. No worries. But with such a futile secondary(of course we were without Lynch) we have, it is going to be quite difficult this year. But, Denver are also in a crazy division. Look what happened to San Diego by KC. Can you believe that. One of the "Super Bowl" contenders for this year was defeated by KC - who? And how about a win for Oakland who are tied in the division with 2-2 with Denver and KC. GreenBay Packers are 4-0 - what? Congrats and good job for Mr. Favre, and GB's 4-0 and in the same conference Chicago are 1-3 (lost to the Detroit). If the Lions can defeat the Bears in NFC North, anybody can beat anyone in the NFL - Firmed!!! Crazy weekend! here's NFC for you: East and the West are as it is suppose to be. But look at the North and the South. Saints are 0-3; Packers are 4-0; Lions are 3-1; Bears (unbelievable 1-3) And that 12 sacks applied to McNabb. I guess the Eagles aren't flying as high this year yet again huh!. AFC??? Look at the west, Denver, KC and Oakland are 2-2, and the chargers are 1-3. How about the 3-0 Steelers getting that punt return TD to loose against Cardinals. No body looses to the Cardinals man, no one. But they are only a few teams left to loose at home. After watching today's games, I like the Bucs from the NFC. They played very very regular football with no new stuff going around them. Wow what an execution of defense. Packs are doing well too, but I kinda doubt their secondary. Too many young players with some really relaly old ones. I do not see much balance in that team. AFC, I still like the Broncos (the fan is speaking), but Indy's are still very dangerous. Guess, Patriots' game tomorrow will determine the current state of the NFL. The Power ranking's all going to be messy for next week. Quick Fantasy Picks Report: Of the 16 ppl who picked for today's games; only 4 got the Bills win right, 15 - Cowboys, 13 - Packers, 3 - Falcons, 2 - Browns, 1 - Lions (someone actually picked Detroit - utousucks), 4 - Raiders, 13 - Seahawks, 8 - Bucaneers, 1 - Cardinals (What??? hmnnn utoosucks picked 'em....... again??), 0 - yes ZERO - picked the Chiefs, 8 - Colts and 4 for the Giants. I got doomed with my picks. I got 5 -8 and if the bengals win tomorrow, it will be 5-9; gonna suck. The overall picks and ranks will be updated once the game ends tomorrow nite between NE and the Bengals. But You are able to see how you and others did today. Peace and Enjoy!! Your takes....

Sujan bro, Nice analysis of the Fantasy picks. Lions and Cardinals were just my lucky picks. I blew some other picks though. I belive Detroit and Kitna deserve some more respect; they might well be heading towards 10 win season as Kitna had predicted. Looked like a tough week for all of us. Good luck to all for next week. Peace..

so, week 5 is here. another wild week this is gonna be. some quite defensive games (49ers v ravens), a few high offensive games (skins v lions), some lopsided ones (cowboys v bills), balanced game (charges v broncos), and great offense v great defense (colts v bucs). yes, if you can watch all the games at 4ET, that would be some games. but, if i can only see one game, that would be colts v bucs, but, the first half will determine, if i am to continue the second half, you know how those offense v defense games are. and then switch to the broncos game (yes, it would be a sin if i don't see my team's game).
Anyways, the game i think worth watching in the afternoon is, chiefs v Jags. Both the teams have new winning spirits. Both think that they can make it to the playoffs unlike many thought in the beginning. Another one would be New England game, just to see Brady show some masterful QB tricks!!!
Yes, the Sunday night... old old rivalry, when the Bears have quite a habit of winning a lot, but this Sunday it's going to be different with the new Favre's Packers. I think they will finally celebrate with a happier cheese after a long time eh!
The monday night is going to be just another monday night - on cable, when half as much are watching. Yes, I don't have cable and don't regret much, when games like Bills v Cowboys are on Monday night. I apologize if I offend or 'madden' some fans. SOPCAST rulz...
Anyways, you guys enjoy the weekend. some great games to see. I hope i get better with my picks this weekend, and as i missed the first week (lost all 16 games), i hope to make enough wins to make my score better than .500. Peace.

what a week 5, as almost all of us expected, full of drama.
First quarter marvel by Brett Favre actually made me beleive that he could win another one. But stupid turnovers like that by the team, can't win championship. Need more maturity by more players in that team. For the Bears, every wins count, and this was an important divisional one.
I was wrong to call the Monday Night a lopsided game. The Bills nearly gave the Boys some taste of defeat. I only wonder Dallas's 5-0 being only a bit of luck from week 5, but I don't think it's gonna be 6-0 when the Pats visits them next week. That should be most fantastic game of the season so far.
And yes, a super offense cannot be matched by super defense (proof : ind v tb). Denver suffered the worst defeat since even before i was born.
Some expert commented that a separate league is to be formed for Peyton and Brady. What wonderful quarterbacks we are able to watch in this time. Never before have we had two such quarterback at the same time. The sadness is that they are both in the same conference - no SuperBowl playoff between the two at the same time.
Picks report:
We still don't have a perfect week by anyone yet. The closest however came in week 5, by lurey who went 13-1 (he picked NO against panthers). Good job and nice come back lurey. AX was 12-2 (nice comeback again) and 5 finished at 11-3.
This week, i created a new user by the name .mostPickedbyUs. Basically, this user picks the teams that were most picked by us during the week. This user picks only after the game has started. This is to see, how well, we as the whole fantasy unit are doing in the picks, and to see where we, as individual players, are with against the whole fantasy unit.
Also I have started to include a new percentage in the bracket after the winning percentage. This new one is to calculate the winning percentage of the games that were actually played. Yes, you still loose the game you don't pick for the overall win, but a separate category of wins for actual play is needed to track our picks and help those who came in late, i think. You must make at least 48 picks (4 complete weeks), to qualify to become actual picks winner, for some self consolation. Currently utousucks leads in both category.
So, two categories. Overall and Actual. Please comment and suggest me if something else is better.
mostPickedByUs was at 11-3 - not bad eh!.
utousucks, himalayandude, Aakash, Disco, November and sahayog are yet to have a loosing week. The worst finish so far is 4-10 (week 4) by 2 players.
Please make your picks for week six.

nfl fanatics, here's week 6. marquee games are: pats at the boys titans at the bucs skins at the packs the whole division standing in the nfl is weird. oakland leads SD, DEN and KC in the AFC West. Who would have thought that this was possible after 5 weeks (Everyone thought it was going to be something like SD 5-0, DEN 4-1, KC 2-3, OAK 0-4). and AFC South (IND, TEN, JAC, HOU), all have winning record so far. winning percentage wise, the nfc's are doing much better than the afc's. week six could go haywire as did the previous few ones. like the Bears loosing to Vikes (all have picked the Bears so far), or the Rams beating the Ravens, or the Saints coming back to beat the Hawks. You never know. And Yes, Indianapolis colts are back as #1 in the average ranking and unbelievably my Denver Broncos are at #23. sucks. My picks for week six: Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears ........ » Chicago Bears St. Louis Rams @ Baltimore Ravens ........ » Baltimore Ravens Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs ........ » Kansas City Chiefs Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets ........ » Philadelphia Eagles Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars ........ » Jacksonville Jaguars Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ........ » Tampa Bay Buccaneers Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns ........ » Cleveland Browns Washington Red Skins @ Green Bay Packers ........ » Green Bay Packers Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals ........ » Arizona Cardinals New England Patriots @ Dallas Cowboys ........ » New England Patriots Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers ........ » San Diego Chargers New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks ........ » Seattle Seahawks New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons ........ » New York Giants make your picks at http://www.sujanks.com/nfl

awesome job sujanks. Thanks for all the hardword to complie the records and analysis...... I wish there was somebody like you who would do more analysis beside NFL. I don't follow NFL like MLB/CF/NBA. There is so much parity in NFL that it's hard to pick the winners. I can't believe I did that good last week. I won't mind another 11-2 record.... If you get 2/3 of the picks right you have done better than ESPN Swami :=)
here's my picks for this weekend
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears ........ » Chicago Bears (I wanna see vikes fite each other during the game) St. Louis Rams @ Baltimore Ravens ........ » Baltimore Ravens (Who is the Rams QB?) Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs ........ » Cincy Bengals (too much offense for Chiefs) Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets ........ » Philadelphia Eagles (Jets will have new QB after this game) Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars ........ » Jacksonville Jaguars (one of the best kept secret in NFL) Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ........ » Tennessee Titans (VINCANITY) Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns ........ » Miami Dolphins (FISH loyalty) Washington RedSkins @ Green Bay Packers ........ » Green Bay Packers (FAVRE, FAVRE, FAVRE) Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals ........ » Arizona Cardinals (Vinny is older than my granpa) New England Patriots @ Dallas Cowboys ........ » New England Patriots (did you watch both teams play Bills?) Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers ........ » San Diego Chargers (offense is clicking.. more TD) New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks ........ » Seattle Seahawks (another week w/o win) New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons ........ » New York Giants (Giants DDDDDDDDDDDD)

Sujan bro,
Looks like I might be paying the price for oversleeping. Your system did not let me pick any of the 1:00 pm (EST) games. It's still 12:35 EST and I am emailing you my picks. Could you please squeeze this in, if possible?
My picks are,
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears ........ » Chicago Bears St. Louis Rams @ Baltimore Ravens ........ » Baltimore Ravens Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs ........ » Kansas City Chiefs Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets ........ » Philadelphia Eagles Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars ........ » Jacksonville Jaguars Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ........ » Titans Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns ........ » Cleveland Browns Washington Red Skins @ Green Bay Packers ........ » Green Bay Packers Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals ........ » Arizona Cardinals New England Patriots @ Dallas Cowboys ........ » Cowboys Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers ........ » San Diego Chargers New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks ........ » Seattle Seahawks New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons ........ » New York Giants
Thanks.

i guess it is allright to allow your pick. and i have updated. saying that, i am going to change the system (beginning week 7) to such that, you can make your picks 5 minutes prior to the game time. i hope everyone's fine with that. if not please let me know.
peace, and enjoy dasain.

First a very happy and wonderful Dasain and Tihar to everyone.
Week 7.
Yes, last week (6), the Bears lost to the Vikes (yikes), and the bottomed out Saints beat the Hawks. Crazy week that was. Rest of the schedule looked normal except that Panthers also ended up beating the cardinals. Afterall Cardinals are just as same as ever before. Just some weird fun (or sufferings), they were having, as most NFL teams do in the beginning. The west in both the conferences looks pretty bad in shape. All you western fans, sucks eh! Especially me, I am a Denver Fan and I live in Seattle. What can we do, when the teams are playing poor ball games. Like Dr. Z from CNN suggested, Denver is better off hiring some Sumo wrestlers in the Defensive Line.
And yes, NFC west is still cursed to have a below average team sent to the playoffs. I doubt any of them are going to finish 9-7 or better. They might just top off with 8-8 and go ahead. And the AFC west might just share that curse with them. I am gonna have to sarifice a goat to make Broncos a better team and (as my initial) hope them to win all the way. Dasain Dreams - Fly Kites, Swings, Broncos win. hmnnn... I need some vicodine now.
Did you guys see Brady play. I have no doubt after that offense he produced, Pats to be the SuperBowl team. I guess we just gonna have to wait 2 more weeks to figure out which one of the two (Indianapollis), will be in the Bowl game. Last week, we saw two 5-0 play, and in two weeks we might see two undefeated teams play again, unless the Coltss loose to the Jags this Monday. The only challenge for the Pats are the Skins next week, but you never know the Dolphins. Sometimes, the stars just click on their sides (somehow weirdly), and might turn the dice to their favors. But, Brady is perfect, who had better numbers than any numbers in the NFL and NCAA last week. Crazy eh!
Reiteration again: We have the best quarterback duo in the same season in the history of the NFL. And if you put Favre (who is giving the best performance of his career), we have three. Amazing season this is.
Anyways, it was an average pick week for all of us. The best finish was 10-3 by CaMoFlaGeD and yours truly. There were only two loosing picks out of 16, at least, that was better than the previos week. mostPickedByUs was at 9-4.
Overall, the other top threes are closing in against utousucks. Only 4 points separate 1 and 2. FYI, the top score in CNN's Peter King Challenge is 66 among 40,000+ players. Our leaderboard (62 points) would have been in top 100, and our top three (57+) is better than King's picks (56). Let's go ahead and beat 'em, boys.
Now, week 8 is by far the funniest (i think) of all the weeks we have seen in the past.
Funny game 1. Cards(3-3) v Skins(3-2), because Skins are a better team with better record, but if they were to be in the playoffs, the Cards as a division champ would go to the next level but not the Skins. Even if the Cards loose, but the Seahawks also loose (not gonna happen against the Rams), Cards still has the division lead. Skins by 7.
Funny game 2. Chiefs (3-3) v Raiders(2-3). Beleive or not, they are playing for the division lead. No other comments. Chiefs by 7.
Funny game 3. Patriots (6-0) v Dolphins (0-6). Perhaps the Fins need some rest, so just let the week go with out a play and give the game to the pats. At least they will avoid a crushing defeat and in return earn another week of rest. Sorry Fins Fans. But People, this is the NFL. Remember Vikes beating the Bears last week. Pats by 14.
Funny game 4. Fins (0-6) v Rams (0-6). Oops that's not gonna happen ever this season. Damn, I think the NFL should open a slot during the playoff, to have these (two 0-16 teams) playoff for the worst record in the history of the NFL. Yes, it is too early to make that call for two 0-16 teams, but I guarantee two 0-7 teams for week 8. Fins plays Pats(2), Giants, Bills(2), Eagles, Steels, Jets, Ravens and Bengals for the rest of the season, and the Rams plays Hawks(2), Browns, Saints, 49ers, Falcons, Bengals, Packs, Steels and Cardinals. Actually you know what, Rams actually have a chance to make to the playoffs with 8-8. They can win 8 games of the remaining 10 (2 defeats against Packs and Steels, and win the rest). I listen too much Pink Floyd - High Hopes.
Real Game 1. Colts (5-0) v Jags(4-1). Yes this one is a real game. I think this is going to be an upset of the colts by the jags. Both teams are coming from a bye-week, but Jags play at home and only the Steelers have allowed lesser points per game than them. Nevertheless, Colts are undefeated, but Jags are on 4-game-winning streak as well. Although I (and all of us) have no doubt that the Colts are a better team, I am just gonna have to pick Jags this week to win by 3.
Real Game 2. Steelers (4-1) v Broncos (2-3). Three defeats in a row, Broncos are playing for respect and when in such a tough division, they are actually playing for life. Steelers' only challenge in the division is Ravens, which is an average team this year unlike last year. With Mcnair sidelining every other week, i don't see Ravens as any threat. I am gonna have to pick the Broncos win this game by 3 just because they are playing at home (look the fan is yapping again), and "Revenge" from the games two ago. Another revenge game - Please Laugh at this joke. Thank you very much.
Others: I am dropping Bears for the first time from my Picks. I still think Vikings win last week was against a weak Bears. Cowboys are much much better offensive team than the Bears against them. Falcons v Saints is just another division game, which's result is going to make no difference in the end.
Games to Watch by time.
Sunday Matinee and Daytime Matinee: Bucs v Lions. Cards v Skins. Watch the game-breaks to NE v Fins for Brady's masterful plays. DayTime: Bears v Eagles or Just just take a Dasain Break and play some "Falash" or "Kitti" (preferred) the whole day while the TV is on for highlights for all 12 games.
Sunday Night: You don't want to miss Steels v Broncos. Bijaya Dasami. Some Beer, Khashi ko Masu, and Bronco Game.
Monday Night: Post Bijaya Dasami game. Colts v Jags. Even Maa Durga will be watching this game, mates!
Links to all games available by Saturday Afternoon.
My Week 8 picks
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans ........ » Tennessee Titans Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys ........ » Dallas Cowboys Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Detroit Lions ........ » Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills ........ » Baltimore Ravens Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints ........ » New Orleans Saints Arizona Cardinals @ Washington Red Skins ........ » Washington Red Skins New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins ........ » New England Patriots San Francisco 49ers @ New York Giants ........ » New York Giants New York Jets @ Cincinnati Bengals ........ » Cincinnati Bengals Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders ........ » Kansas City Chiefs St. Louis Rams @ Seattle Seahawks ........ » Seattle Seahawks Chicago Bears @ Philadelphia Eagles ........ » Philadelphia Eagles Pittsburg Steelers @ Denver Broncos ........ » Denver Broncos Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars ........ » Jacksonville Jaguars
Peace And Enjoy the festivities.
