I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help. My case: Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only) Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016 TPS: Not yet approved

Travelling with AP is always risky, whether you have TPS or not. AP is given so that you can travel while your application is pending, which is TPS in our case.

@terobaau, travelling in TPS is not risky. Also, AP is not given because of pending application.

Reply from USCIS: he status of this service request is: We regret to inform you that we cannot grant your request for expedited processing of your case. Although your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence to support an extreme emergent need, which must meet one of the following criteria: *Severe financial loss to company or individual; *Extreme emergent situation; *Humanitarian situation; *Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States; *U.S. Department of Defense or national interest situation (Note: Request must come from an official U.S. Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government); *USCIS error; or *Compelling interest of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are granted at the discretion of the Director. We hope this information is helpful to you and regret any inconvenience this may have caused. USCIS is all fucked up. They submitted my expedite request but never asked me for any document. I thought they would be asking for one but just denied my request even without asking for evidence. I have sent all my docs to Nebraska Processing center with all my proofs. Has anyone faced this situation and got approved after sending mail with all proofs?

For EAD, you can now request for expedite since it is well past 90 days, or contact obudsman office.

TPS case Pending since July,2015 at Nebraska Service Center. Isn't this long time frame or is everyone around the same boat? It's been almost 7 months.

I am not sure whats happening..few people applied in september and october already got their TPS approved..isnt there anywhere we can pose this question to help uscis clarify what is going on? Everyone is confused with this time line. Last time i called they said they were processing august 20th application while i have heard so many ppl not getting approved even their case is from July. I just wanted to know what the hell is that..is it just pure luck?

Seems like those who only ever had single visa status ( came on f1, b1, h1 etc and stayed on same or became out of status ) got thier TPS approved quicker than those with multiple statuses ( came on f1, b2.. Then changed to f2, dependent, asylee etc). Also of the first category, those who submitted concrete evidence of continuous presence like paycheck, utility bill, bank statement etc (atleast two of those ) got their TPS approved faster. So if u guys share ur statuses before and what u submitted, it will be easier to come to a concrete conclusion.

@bairaghi I think we have to do some data analysis here to identify the pattern of approval. From my thinking, it's been delayed for those segment of people who have been here in the United States for less than a year and in F2, B2 & H4) status despite all the evidence has been submitted. For continuous proof of evidence, isn't the passport, I-94 and Recent Travel History(From Online I-94 Website) enough. Individual passport will have the stamp of last date of entry into United States itself. I have seen that even after submitting the concrete evidence of continuous presence for F2, B2 & H4 status, still pending, may be they do not have enough history of their stay in united states, May God know the truth.

I submitted mine in around august 15 and biometrics in september but my case is still pending. I have made an attempt to call them twice but still by today my case is pending. Dont know what can be done and why are they taking long time. They haven't asked for any additional evidence, is it certain they are slow?

Those evidences u mentioned for continuous presence are not enough in my opinion. U need to submit atleast one out of: paycheck, phone bill, bank statement, utility bill, documents from college, Job letter, letter from church or other organizations.
