qlik I encourage you to not rely on mainstream establishment sources for your convictions. When you place your beliefs on establishment sources of information then I am sorry to say that your bias is towards the deep rooted establishment.

Bernie is not your typical left. He happens to be in the corrupt DNC but think about it this way. Someone can be born in a corrupt family but can turn out to be a good person. Bernie has been saying the same thing for 30 years all geared towards empowering the 99% of the population.

I can understand the top 1% not supporting him but if you are part of the 99% then you should definitely hear him out without any preconceived prejudices induced into your mind by the establishment medias who want to maintain the status quo of empowering the top 1%.

Be-aware, Bernie is a multimillionaire so he is part of the 1%. Now why are you supporting the corrupt evil 1%er?

qlikview, this guy is just another Bernie Bro with tinfoil hat on. I gave him all the link from NY times and Newsweek and now he is saying not to believe the mainstream media. Like Bernie never interview with them or go to many msm shows.

johny and qlick

Ok so you don't support Bernie. I get it. So who do you support? Let's get the word out.

By the way, Bernie does not fall on the top 1%. After being in politics for over 30 years, his assets are very miniscule compared to other politicians.

How much money do you need to be in the 1%?
You'd need to make at least $515,371 a year to be considered one of the top 1% of taxpayers in 2017, an analysis of Internal Revenue Service data by Bloomberg's Alexandre Tanzi and Ben Steverman found.

Johny since you are more inclined to believe the billionaire funded mainstream media I shared that quote with you.

So are you scared to share who you support? If not let’s hear who your candidate of choice is.

Not scared. I didn’t knew you were interested to know. My choices were Beto, Booker & Kamala but since all have dropped I’m okay with Biden, Pete or Warren.

I believe Beto could have been the best nominee as he could have united both progressives and moderates and would have been very competitive in TX and many sun belt states. He made poor decisions early by not giving many tv interviews like Pete. Hope he will run again.

Just as I suspected. You don’t know who to support so you support all establishment candidates until the establishment narrows down to one person.

If you were to support one person out of your own research who would that be?

You don’t know who to support, you follow mainstream media, you support establishment candidate, billionaire class, 99%? Man all of you Bernie Bros sound like the same broken record. You support a 80 years old socialist who might not make it come Election Day. Good luck to you.

At least we support a candidate out of principle, unlike you who support the candidates laid in the platter for you by your rulers. Do you even know why you support all the establishment candidates and not have the moral compass to choose one?

The hypocrisy of these establishment brainwashed parrots is unbelievable. They think Bernie’s too old he might die in office and they turn around and say Biden for president.

Bernie 78 yrs old
Biden 77 yrs old

The hypocrisy shows the type of brain capacity.

Those are bhutani refugees who get all benefits and welfare as refugees including Medicare, medicaid food stamps cash assistance etc. You or your parents since not refugees will be denied most of those benefits. They are there to make sure the benefits keep rolling . You guys are fighting for nothing.

Salam Krishne you wrote valid points so I am responding to you separately.

You wrote:
I don't think white america is ready to elect a socialist president yet.
You are saying media is biased against Bernie, and asking people to look at the crowd, rally etc to see how he is the most electable candidate that can defeat Trump . That is what you see in a cadre-based party/movement, group of people who are convinced by a radical agenda. I remenber things back in Nepal. In many occasions all communist supporters, who many times would be the only voters, would be in rally, whereas NC would not have a big crowd despite a good turnout in ballot as they are mass-based party.

When you compare Bernie's movement with radical agenda such as the communist movement you comparing apples to oranges. The communist movement is a violent movement, levied by using uneducated villagers killing them, torturing them into submission, using scare tactics and death, dismemberment, rape.

Bernie's movement is peaceful. It is not about socialism where government claims control on every part of citizen's life. Bernie is talking about a livable planet, healthcare as a right, a humane immigration system, a living wage for all - these are not radical ideas.

The factions that are against Bernie will have you believing that these are socialistic demands which is not possible but they are just afraid of Bernie's popularity. That is why they are trying everything they can to discredit Bernie and what he is fighting for.

The radicals on the other hand are actually the people who would let the world burn and the sick people die without care, all for the money in their banks. Universal healthcare and tuition-free college aren't radical. They already exist in other nations.

You think that the crowd at rally is not significant but look at his donor base and his grass root movement. He has more individual donations than Donald Trump or any other candidates. That speaks volumes of his popularity which is constantly being under reported by the media as they do not want him to build momentum.

Just think of all the problems that could have been solved if the billions spent on elections had been put into infrastructure or education, etc. These billions are spent buying congress instead of raising salaries of workers or adding jobs.

You wrote:
In couple places you wrote Trump and other candidates from Democractic party are going to work for billionaires, rich "class" people, and that Bernie is the only candidate who will work for common people (you probably meant a different or opposite class than rich "class"). I believe a lot of people know that very few uneducated white people are going to vote for him despite the fact they belong to such "class". You know why. The more radical his agenda is, the less chance of getting elected.

Again his agenda is not radical and lots of people are realizing that and supporting him. See what I wrote above.

You wrote:
BTW, people who do not pay a lot a tax may like the idea of making tax more progressive, but how much progressive you want to make it? To quote some recent numbers: The top 1% paid 37.3% of Federal Income Tax, the most important revenue source for federal government, whereas bottom 90%'s combined share was just 30.5%.

This is a play of words currently used to distort reality. This does not report the payroll taxes which accounts for the biggest disparity of the taxing structure which the rich are using to escape or minimize their taxes.

This is the payroll taxes — which fall much more heavily on working people, since they’re largely levied only on the first $130,000 or so of earned income.

This means the rich pay a far lower payroll tax rate than regular people. A nurse making a salary of $50,000 per year pays (counting both the employee and employer side) 12.4 percent in OASDI taxes (for Social Security and disability insurance). But a sitcom star making a thousand times that, or $50 million a year, will pay the 12.4 percent only on the initial $130,000 of their salary, working out to a total OASDI tax rate of just 0.03 percent on their $50 million. And because OASDI taxes are only levied on earned income — meaning, money you make from a job — a billionaire investor with a $50 million annual income from dividends and capital gains will pay exactly zero percent in OASDI taxes.

Then there’s the fact that it’s not just the federal government that taxes Americans. There are also many, many state and local taxes: State income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, and more. Some of these, such as sales taxes, are actually regressive — i.e., the less money you make, the higher tax rate you have to pay.

Bernie Sanders is not campaigning against a republican or a democrat, but rather a system, embraced by both parties that has left behind the very people they were meant to represent.

Here's something to think about the candidate that the establishment is supporting.
