Hi Everyone,
Politics has never been my subject of interest. However these days I am pretty much regular to read news and listen to BBC. I sometime discuss politics with my friends too.

Since the country is passing through a political phase transition, I couldn't save myself from this political tsunami. So I made an attempt today to record a small part of my political feelings that bothers me a lot. There are many questions in my immature mind I have decided to put them as time permits.

At this moment I am passing through a phase of mind which is suggesting me to record more feelings. However, I am not sure how long will it take to over the phase.

Whenever I write about Dharma and Science, I have always encouraged you to read even though my postings are tiresomely long, but I won't encourage you this time because you will gain almost nothing from these postings. Moreover, I don't have profound knowledge of the subject matter because of lack of interest and lack of study.

Thank you!

Simple Question: If leaders are to back off, who is to lead? Gyanendra Maharaj and Paras Shah and Tulsi Giri, Ramesh Nath Pande and RK Mainali and so on...

Why should we trust the Monarchy? They have ruled us to misery in the 220 odd years haven't they? You don't have answers to the questions. Your only answer is Nepali people don't have brains, they don't know how to value democracy so democracy is not necessary for them.

It is really shameful what Maoists did in Madi, Chitawan. Those who practice wrong, step by step they become heartless and eventually turn to evil. This is what happening with Maoists. I am sure they may get surprised by my comment, but I feel awkward when heartless people claim that they will bring harmony in the society.

Everybody love their life, so everybody has to have right to live. I urge to the King and the Maoists to leave their stubbornness; sacrifice for the nation, and save the innocent lives. As King loves his and his families? lives and remains under the security of RNA, so does each and every single RNA solder. As Prachanda and Baburam love their lives and live inside the security shield of peoples? army, so does each individual of the peoples? army.

King or leader, army or rebel, or ordinary citizen; we all are human being. We feed on food, we breath on air, it pains when hurt, we all become sick, we all become old, we all become emotional, we all eventually die. King, leader etc are just labels given by people, after all are individual human being. Nature doesn?t discriminate.

There is problem in the system and in the society, I accept that. However there is no problem which can not be solved through constructive way; I reject that.

I urge to the King and the Maoists to shrink a little and make room for all of us.

Sorry, extremely sorry. I feel shameful whenever I read my posters, there are so many errors. Its all because of my carelessness and limited knowledge of the language. I know readers are very patience and wise so I do leave those errors for them to correct and read. However I sometime make terrible mistakes that give wrong meaning.

Please read second last sentence as:

However, if you say there are some problems which can't be solved through constructive ways; I reject that.

Please read "after all are individual human being" as- after all we all are human beings.

Thank you!

He is the one who institutionalized undemocratic means in the country, whether it be within his party, or in the parliament or in the suppression of the legislative by the executive. And all this in the name of: Sishu Parjatantra.

I wonder what went wrong. Afterall, he was a great character who claimed in Khulla-Munch right after Chaitra 27: "Yo Jeet Haami Sabaiko ho. Yo Jeet Parjaatantrako ho. Yo Jeet Nepali Congressko ho. Yo Jeet Nepali Communistko ho. Yo Jeet Panchayatko pani ho." May be the booing he got after this utterance went to his head and destroyed him both mentally and ethically.

*************************************************************

There are many poeple who are possessed by different principles. They hold the principle and try to materialize it. Hitler and Nepolean are such two examples. People like Hitler and Nepolean are victim of their view. I don't agree that they tried to change the world, they always tried to prove their view, which sounded logical, rational and right for them.

Same is the story of Taleban. They wish to be back to the 8th century, when the profet Mohammad used to dwell in Arabia. They strongly feel that they are right. Those people, who swap their wives strongly feel that they are logical and right. However, there many poeple who were/are against of the Hitler, Taleban, and the concept of swaping the wives. If two people of opposite views try to convince each other they will never be success. Why? Because logic is not the truth itself. They will just quarrel and end of thinking each other as dumb.

Bush think that gay are mad and gays think that Bush is mad. Pakistani think that Indians are bad and Indians think Pakistani are bad. Hindus thinks Muslim are wrong and vice-a-versa. Maoists think the King is wrong and the King thinks Maoists are wrong. All are possessed by vision, far away from the reality.

It doesn't matter what people think and try to do. It matters whether they recognize the truth and try to follow it. Those who recognize the truth (the laws of nature) and behave accordingly, their vision is the only right vision, their attempt is the only right attempt. Rest of the attempts are useless, they will chage the world for worst. I admire the attempt to change the world for the best; I don't admire non-productive attempts (like that of our King), which bears no result. I don't admire the wrong attempts (like that of hitlers and Nepalese political leaders) that bring crisis.

Hitler, Nepolean, Taleban etc all of them found many followers and admirors. There are negligbly small quantity of the people who use their wisdom to recognize what is right and what is wrong, what is wholsome and what is not. Majority of the people decide blindly. They just follow others without any judgement as a sheep follows the preceeding sheep. These sheep have been milked, raised, and cut into pieces by the shepherd like Hitler, Nepolean etc.

I am voicing here to set all the sheep free. They will get nothing just by changing the flocks. Some fore-running sheep has started to think that they are also shepherd because they are followed by the other sheep. They are building their own flocks.

More than that I am voicing here to eradicate the concept of sheep and shepherd. We are not different creatures like sheep and shepherd. We all are human beings. If some of us think that we are shepherd, what else can be that other than the wrong vision? King, people, leaders, rich, poor, GM, PA, educated, illitrate, this caste, that ethnic group; these all are lebels. We all are human beings, mortal, and made up of flesh and blood. If somebody think of high of oneself for whatever reason, that is just a defect of vision.

I am voicing here to use right spectacle to come out of their defective vision. Things that sounds logical and rational many not be true. I urge them, who think they are sheep and there is a shepherd to look after them, to use right glasses to see the one and only one reality, that is, we all are human being, and we must have an equal right. My same urge goes to those who think they are shepherd and others are sheep. There is no descrimination in natural laws like death, birth, emotions, misery, food etc. We all are human product of the same mother nature, we must have equal rights.

(Hush puppy Ji I will post my last poster for you tomorrow)

SarderSingh Ji I will certainly answer your question. Please have patience, I am so busy these days.

It is li'l confusing when you say you disagree with the king getting lost in his direction and when you differentiate between good and bad leaders...

This concludes the fact that you do agree with having good captans to sail the boat . right sailor??

Every body - Euros muslims and third world nations hate Bush like they did Hitler then. You give so much power to one maggot and its obvious he'll misuse the power. Specially when power hungry people get on the top like Gyane. He's simply obsessed with his title than anything else. If there are no people to duck tape him on time..i wonder where t he'll land us.

I don't know what laws are you talking about. No god wrote them. It's all manmade. Seriously men made. Being a woman I fear to go back to nepal ending up as a dust molecule trapped within the laws of my Father and future hubby. I don't know how much freedom means to you. But freedom to be able to be myself is quite a struggle there in Nepal --unless you want to tag urself with gaziiliion names and emotional blackmails /unnnecesary soap operas...Without leaders who will provide for much needed space ...I think every nepali guy in nepal will be a female like me...under the dictatorship ofgyane...

There's a vast difference between staying united as a nation and paralyzing the citizens.. Unison comes from love and affection..not by force...By now the dude Gyan Bahadur should have agreed to RCCC's money to help mao survivors. Agrreed to give more power to the minorities of Nepal, not make them toilet cleaning slaves. Why haven't people acknowledge that the so called peace in Nepal right now is just a begginning state of slow poisioning?? Bush is killing muslims till now...maybe 100 times the number people dies in 9/11. But he's killing more Americans do and America in about 4 yrs time. So he's so much in denial that he think he's God. Republicans like him cause they worry about their wealth that they invested in US. Democrats hate him, because they are jobless, homless, pennyless. But at least there's future in US for there's going to be another election soon. Gays and lesbians are still hopeful. So are people with Gun rights and abortions rights.. Unlike in Nepal..who's bound to put up with another Bushlike character ...IF LEADERS DON"T Take their positions on time...

You simply can't ask people to back off... You are one of them too..So let it be free...

Hush,

Well although your argument is valid about freedom and independence, I gotta ask you do u really think the current leaders will be able to stir the mass for it? These leaders are traitors, already been stabbed on the back several times. Do not u think that they will just change the flanks as they did in the past? So, we need to find out somebody who can lead us, then only the movement will be successful. Without clear vision and leadership I fear country will be in more turmoil.

As far as Bush is concerned, its all about money and power. I think this holds true even in Nepal with King, moaists and the great leaders of Nepal.

Peace out

Hushpuppy Ji,
It seems to me you have strong dislike for the king. Hope you are not a family member of any party leaders :). I don't hate him. I don't hate his son either; I feel pity for him. Hatered is negative, it will bring no harm to them rather destroy myself. I just have strong disagreement with his Majestie's acts. His thinking is logical but he doesn't have any solution of the existing problems. We don't need logic now, we need right action to end the crisis. And that won't happen from him. His effort is not the solution but a probem itself. I will be writing more on this to Sardarsing.

I don't know what type of freedome are you talking about. This is the time of crisis, our focus should be one and only one, ie, to end the crisis. When you are shot and bullet is inside you, you should be entirely focusing on taking out the bullet. You should rush for the hospital instead of asking questions lik; who shot? why shot? etc.

We are in crisis, we have to search the way to come out of it. I am not worried here for my personal freedom. In fact, I believe, the freedom from mental defilements is the real freedom. I have to get my freedom own my own by eradicating my mental negativities. So real freedom is personal. BTW, I don't want to go in this direction for the moment. All I want to say is, we have to focus on the major problem, which is political crisis in the country, and its possible solution.

I am sorry I didn't know that you are a girl :) ...belive me or not I have been considereing you a boy (I am sorry I couldn't get opportunity to read your other posters)... you guys are very confusing... Pade Queen sounds like a girl but s/he signed as Birsing instead of Birpreet Kaur.... just kidding; please don't take seriously... gender doesn't matter .... the questions you have raised in your first poster were genuine ..... here is the last answer of your question.

Hahahahahahahaha LOL, what have I done for the country? This is really a good question. We are very much skillful to accuse others and so cleaver to hide our own drawbacks. Perhaps this is what I am doing in my posters unknowingly :). I apologize if my posters smelt so; I did not mean it though. I remember a verse of one of the great living saints, its in Rajsthani language:

Nij abgun sudhre Nahi, par updeshi hoye!
Pag badti dikhe nahi, dungar badti Joohe!!

One is full of defilements oneself, but preaches others to be clean!
Doesn't see the crawling louse in his foot, but sees the hill climbing one!!

I was very much careful, and thought clean. I will check on my own whether I am overpowered by the selfrightiousness :). I will test myself whether aformentioned verse is applied to me.

.leaders at least they are thinking however minute their brains are.........what do you do or have you done??
******************************************************************

Since they are paid by the society, their job is to think of the society. That little thinking is not enough. I don't expect service from them; they are so poor hearted to offer selfless service to the society. However, I strongly want the job to be done because they are paid for that. They have taken responsibility to look after the country, to look after the people, to be worried of the peoples' welfare. And they are paid for that. They didn't take any of their responsibility seriously. Because of their irresponsible nature the crisis befall upon us. Abroad or home, directly or indirectly, we all are in pain.

If a citizen doesn't observe her/his responsibility s/he will be in pain. Those who depend on him/her will be in pain. A irresponsible citizen gives the pain to himself and his family where as a irresponsible leader gives pain to the entire nation.

A citizen has a responsibility limited to him and extended to his family. If he fulfills his duty to him and his family correctly he is a good citizen. If all the citizens are good the country will be a heaven. So from my point of view, to be a good citizen is to contribute for the nation. A responsible citizen is like a glass of clean water where as an irresponsible leader is like a dirty lake. Which one will you chose, a clean glass of water or a dirty lacke, when you are thirsty? If I am a good citizen, don't you think that I am contributing more than those incompetent leaders?

There are some people who love to have a right livelihood. It means they don't want to earn the wealth by (directly or indirectly) hurting and harming others. And they donate some portion of their earning to the society. Such people are not only contributing to a nation but to the entire world. If I am one of them, don't you think that I am contributing more than those leaders who has wrong livelihood? Their earning makes many people sleep empty stomach. Instead of donating to the society they eat donation. Who is contributing more?

There are some people who strive to live a life of perfect morality. These people not only contribute to a nation but to the entire humanity. If I say I am one of them, don't you think that I am contributing more than those leaders who don't care about morality?

Almost all of us, who are in foreign land, earn something and send to our county. This is another great contribution to the nation. This is what only keeping the country alive. I am a drop of that ocean; this is my contribution. Leaders, who are paid to run the country, save money in foreign banks or invest to the foreign country. Tell me who is contributing to the nation? Them or us?

All I mean my friend, we are contributing more than those leaders. We give to the country, they take from the country. A glass of fresh water will quench your thrust but what will you do with a lake of dirty polluted water?

I urge you to read my postings nicely, you will find all the answers of your questions. I am not confused; I feel I have stated clearely what I think. Please forgive me if I coudn't make you understand what I mean, that might be due to technical problem :).

Thank you,
Vishowntar

The problems with so called leaders of Nepal is:

They fear of doing wholesome deeds. They are so much afraid now that they cannot even think what "wholesome" deeds are.

Nepalese people, in and out of the country, recognize that there are more problems than solutions in Nepal. Nepalese people will support anyone who will embark on a wholesome journey to eradicate the problems. But unfortunately, there are no such leaders in Nepal who can even think of the whoolesome deed. All the leaders are running towards New Delhi and trying to get blessings from America, EU, China and India. They think only with those foreign blessings they can grab the power.

But they also know that all they need is Nepalese people's blessings to get into the power. But problem is as soon as they gather such blessings from people of Nepal, their spontaneous action should be wholesome deeds for the good of people and for the country, not for themsleves. Since they don't have ability to understand what that wholesome deeds are, or are fearing from doing wholesome deeds, their blindness only sees the blessing of foreigners as a path to power.

When I enter the thread where these guys like Vishontar, sadabichar, dhananjaya are writing... I feel I am in a Buddhist shrine.

"Fear to do wholesome deeds" that's a great analysis of the leaders of Nepal.

Sorry pal, I wasn't feeling well last week so couldn't complete what I wanted to write.

Sadabichar Ji, not only the leaders but our entire society is unknown to wholesome and unwholesome deeds. Leaders are the product of the society. Those people who are aware of the wholesome and unwholesome actions are negligible in our society.

Any society to progress, there needs to be significant number of good people, who care not only for themselves and their family but also for the entire society. If there is majority of bad people, no law and order has capacity to change the country for better. Nepal, Bihar are such examples. If lawmakers don't follow the law there is no way that they can make people to follow it.

Any wholesome action will bring change for better and any unwholesome action will bring change for worse. This is timeless and spaceless law of nature.

Sardar Ji, I think you haven't read my postings well. I am not asking political parties to back off; I am just asking the leaders of the political parties to back off and give chance to the new leaders. I will be posting my final poster soon, which will cast more light on this matter.

Of course not! King should not rule. King has to back off two steps. One step will take him back to the so called democratic period (1990-2003). Another step will take him back to the fully fledged democracy. Fully fledged democracy I mean, a democracy where army is under the control of people's representative. He has to engage himself in social work and gain back the reputation of his dynasty which is endangered.

I know people's representatives are not trustworthy people. However, until and unless army remains under the king, there will always be a tension in the system. Hasn't Feb 1 move proved that the king can take over any time he wants? Now tell me who is powerful, king or people? So can our constitution be called perfect democratic?

If the leaders were accountable to the people and the country they would have raised this agenda before the crisis befall upon us. This is a big headache; they were ruling country without any effort. Why should they be inviting the headache while they are in comfort? His Majesty's Feb 1 move was the gift for leader's selfishness.

In perfect democracy, all power remains under the people. King shines just like a gem of the country. Sooner or later this will happen. It's just his Majesty's worthless effort to keep power in the palace, it will never happen. Instead more rigidity will be harmful to the palace.

I don't know how royalist think and what is in the king's mind. His logic sounds true but doesn't justify his rule. His direct rule is tangling the palace and the royalists day by day where as country is getting out of the vortex. I mean king doesn't have magic stick to rule the country better than political parties; this will put the question mark on king's undisclosed capability, which will be very harmful to him. On the other hand, party leaders were feeling safe under his Majesties shadow, and Feb 1 move frightened them. If you are not strong enough and you already have an enemy, wise people will not appreciate to make a new enemy.

All I want to say about the king is, he should back off two steps, give army to the people under the condition that the Maoists to join the main stream politics. If Maoists don't get agreed, in my opinion then they are really terrorists. Until this happen, king will always remain in the negative part of the history. He should be accountable to those loyal armies who have been dying to save his throne. It's his duty to think of the safety of those who are dying for his safety.

There are ways, peaceful ways, where armies, Maoists and innocent citizen can be saved. The way I see is backing off the king. His throne as well as Nepali brothers and sisters, all can be saved. In this 21st century power doesn't come through army. It comes from the heart. King has to try to win the hearts of the people. He can do that by sacrificing his power. If he is really compassionate king, he has to try to save people. Tomorrow everything will be history and he will be judged. Our offspring's will ask a question, wasn't there a peaceful solution of the problem? King has to be honest.

This is what I think.......
