India should know that we Nepales are not like what we were in the yesteryears and we will not let anything India wants to happen to our Nepal. India put Pakistan's name in UN and tried its best to declare Pakistan as terroist country. What about us going to DC and handling the petition telling India not to cause terrorism in our country, telling them to stop providing security, shelter and financial and ammuntion help to maoists? do write to us about your views. What can we do here to contribute to our national stability besides that?

Nepal is forced to use the expensive Culcutta port Coz India won't allow Nepal to use its land to enter Bengali port.....Bangladesh is only 17-19 Kms further from Nepal's border...........Nepal is weak and does not have a strong voice in the UN...otherwise the UN charter says, a landlocked country has every right to have easy access to the closest ports....Since India is so powerful, no one says anything about it....Kofi Annan has better things to worry about...like hiding his Son's ill-doings in the Iraq contract and stuff.....What a Joke UN is anyway !

why don't you make it easier or people who cannot go to DC? people send all kind of petitioning letters by email and all one has to do is add one's name if one agrees. On the side note - a few years ago Kunda Dixit was in a talk show called 'Connection' and Dick Gordon was the host. The show was about Nepal on Maoist led civil war. My called got through and I had asked a question about India's role in this Maoist-Nepal-civil war equation. Dick Gordon commented that it was a good question (he must have heard/read), but Kunda Dixit totally brushed off the question. Like India did not matter on Nepal's problem. That day he lost my respect. What was his motivation I still wonder to take India's side.

So yes, down with India's propensity inflame our problem and start our problem in most cases.

We own the most prized resource - white gold - WATER.
