I AM NEPALI, you think you are the only Nepali in Sajha. Those people who support Tibetans are all Tibetans. It makes me think that you're a very logical person. Wow!!!!! I really need to praise you for that. Do you even know what humanism is? What is right and what is wrong? Or you just learn the text book to pass the exam. Keep it up . It will help you a lot.You called other kids, how old are you by the way? For your information age doesn't make person smart. Are you trying to say you are the only person who knows Nepal's History or what? Do you mean you read different Nepal's history than others or what? Otherwise everybody knows Nepal's history more or less. Don't need to preach.
You are comparing US with Communist China. In US even illegals have rights. Whereelse in the world have have you seen those rights? Illegals in this country can protest freely and force congressmen to change law. Have you seen or felt or heard anywhere else in the world? You haven't even noticed or known Free Press in US? Seriously, you are spending too much time on past Kings of Nepal. Or you are still trying to remember your Golden days with late kings. Have you ever seen foreign journalists kicked out of US when peole are protesting? Have you ever seen US Govt. censoring and blackout news and medias? If you cannot digest the Freedom then join Communist where you will get lots of Government Supressions isn't that what you're waiting for.
Just wait, Time will tell how long Evil Chinese Regime will last. They cannot just rule only by selecting and censoring the news, medias and youtubes. How long will they able to keep Chinese Population innocent and under dark from the rest of the world and media? It has to be blast and it will blast. I think Every human beings wants to be free. Everyone wants to make their own destination. No body wants him or her to be controlled by Govt.
For your info, Nepal is not just your Private Property. I will speak againsts Evil Chinese Govt. from here(US), from Nepal wherever I want. Just like you speak against US policies from here. Those Tibetans have full rights to protests from Nepal too.

Java, That is all propaganda. I can make similar argument with every country in the world. Darjeeling should be part of Nepal, Bangladesh should be part of India, Israel should be part of Palestine, all of Europe should be under German Authority, Kathmandu is for Newars only rest should get out. It is all about perspective. and here is Jet Li talking about Tibetan Buddhism(which he practices) and Dalai Lama(whom he met). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVPlT9GWF_g

You guys need to calm down a little. Here's how i understand this whole
situation. Before China took over Tibet in 50s, Tibet used to pay Nepal
yearly tax after they lost war with us. China was going through the
"Cultural Revolution" back then. For them Tibet (a region governed by
religious sects (theocracy)), was troubling and some how threatening to
their revolution.
Now regarding Nepalese cooperation to China - it is a very basic
principle of nature 'big fish eat small fish'. You know the saying "if
you can't beat them join them". We cannot oppose to China and India in
certain issues. We are torn between two nuclear power 2.5 billion
people's nations. So I hope our Tibetan friends understand this.
Unfortunately, these are the only two countries that can help us in
many disastrous situation, and for that matter we cannot loose them.
Western nations can brag and criticize for Nepal's role in Tibetan
protest, but ask yourself, what have they done. Bush has said nothing
so far regarding Tibetan situation. There are no foreign media present
in Tibet. Who knows how many Tibetans have been killed, yet not a word
from Bush. Isn't US the biggest allie of free Tibet movement? How come
there is such a level of silence then...I know why. Things have changed
between US and China. China is the biggest trade partner for US and for
India as well. That's why both India and US don't want to upset their
trade buddy.
I personally don't like the excessive force used by Nepalese police to
Tibetan protesters. I thought they could have handle it better than
that.
Someone said 'what would they do if they got freed from China'. I
thought that was inappropriate. You are valuing freedom against
materialism. Just remember, some prefer death on feet over life on
knees.
Thanks,
SS

six string, You got it right. I agree with you 100%. We Nepali cannot do much, but the brute force against a peaceful demonstration is unnecessary. The issue of "Free Tibet" is very popular in the West, there's much more exposure and headline than anything that happens in Nepal. By that account, Western people(maybe not the government) is going to raise the voice. Simple common sense is enough there.Their government would not say anything even if India or China were to invade Nepal right now. To involve their government in such delecate affaird will be almost impossible. But unlike China where freedom of Press and Speech is suppressed, the people in the West is definetly going to speak up or post it on youtube. We're f##Ked up no matter what we do. Last time we deported few Tibetan refugees, we lost our quota for the garment exports to the US initiated and canceled by Senator Barbara Boxer of California. Some business of Nepal suffered a real blow. I hope nothing happens to our country again, cause it is more intense this time. There's no Western media or tourist in Lhasa of right now, I cannot imagine how many Tibetans will be killed. Nepali, looks like you DO NOT know the difference between DUMPLING and DUMPING. Sorry, I didn't realize your level of education, I'll take that back. Can you please turn off the CAPS at least?

I know Nepal has to deal with these two sucker nations but that doesn't mean we as a human can turn blind eyes on what has been happening. Tibetans are not doing violent protests. They are doing peacefully. So, why do these policemen have to beat them like a hell.We need to have courage to say right is right and wrong is wrong. Bush cannot say anything on this matter because his aproval rating is 32%. Nobody listens to him anymore. Plus he got more than full time jobs to think about 2 wars right now.
