First of all, just because a guy is a nurse does not make him gay. A woman in the army does not make her lesbo either.

And then, even if someone is gay - nurse or not - I don't see anything bad about that apart from the fact that it is an alternative lifestyle. I know some gay people and they are nicer than most of the straight people I know.

You said $18/hr is not enough to make a living. Dude, you must have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You need to live a life within your means and anything you make will enough to make a living. You may not be driving a Porsche or jetsetting to Paris but you don't go to bed hungry or live in a cardboard box.

Federeca, you are right. Nowadays the number of people who prefer seeing a Nurse Practitioner rather than a doctor is on the rise. Nurses have more hands-on patient-care experience than most of the doctors. BTW, good luck for your impending NCLEX exams.

As for nurses vs doctors, I am not saying nurses do better job than doctors all the time. There are certains pros and cons with going to the doctors as well as going to the Nurse Practitioner. More and more people (esp Americans rather than immigrants) are choosing NPs as their PCPs. But unlike doctors, NPs usually are not specialists. In fact, nowadays more and more doctors are becoming specialists and the number of GP doctors are on the decline. That is why there are more NPs taking their place.

I dont know where you got that statistics from , but i would definitely disagree . Can you post the link where you read that .Look man , i am juss of work , dont waste my time by assuming things . Post the link . Would like to read that .
