 8 sem lambayera 10 sem rey babu timilai thaha chha ni bachelor sakna kati semester padnu parchha bhanera , HUna ta dv wala ley k college dhekheko hola. Aja dv wala haru 1 semester ma 6 credit class liyera 10 yrs ma bachelor sakchhan.

 Just a suggestion for whoever has the DV...try to join college atleast and get some kinda degree rather then working in gas station or supermarkets and not utilizing your rights....i have seen so many people(Dv) who just wants to work certain hrs and spend there money and feel happy about it..".[Disallowed String for - castist reference] le chayu khaye po swaad thaha huncha" , yesma lagu huncha.....when i was student i had faced so many difficulties just because i didn't have GC not because i didn't have Qualification.....so give some thoughts on some other positive aspect of so called "Hariyo Patta"...

If they are spending their earning ( money ) in their own ways and are happy, what's your problem man ?  It's a free world.  Everyone is free to live the way they want.    Why do you think they should listen to you and live the way you want ?

Well, being in a foreign land ( whether as a student or an immigrant ),  life is not a bed of roses.  One must face with all kinds of difficlties and I am not surprised that you had to face so many difficulties.   As far as your GC is concerned, how can we help you ?

rebelcmx, I think I've had more difficulties when I was in Kathmandu. I couldn't be happier, I'm finally here. I'm not a DV guy, I'm not on student visa as well, I was here on family visa and came here many years ago.

bittertruth,  thanks for your input.   I agree 100 % that life definitely could be bed of roses for people, if they work hard and have good intention. alchi haru ko laagi, jaha gaye pani saasti nai huncha.   I think  facing difficulties in life and happiness are two different things.  I am more happier here in US than when I was in Kathmandu 8 years ago.  It will be a lie to say that I do not have any difficulty here.

FIY:  I immigrated to US under DV Program,  a naturalized US citizen,  have a decent job in  a decent company and working hard like everyone else.   I  do not not work in  gorey/dhoti/pakistani.

Sajha is a public platform,  everyone of us have the right to express our opinion and we should respect one another.   The person who started this thread  + some others have  pointed their  finger on the DV holders and generalized them as stupid people ( please read the above lead thread  ).    I am not here for बाद-बिबाद /   I am simply telling them not to be generalize  and hate people who are working hard for a better life.  Also, respect the way they live and their freedom.

I told u earlier that one dv holder gave threat to his roomate about work. Beside that, I have another dv wala fren he barely speak and writeenglish . Once he was tellin me "yo F1 ma auney haru sabai bigre sakya, Padna chodera gf banayera baschan ani kt haru pani bihey garnu agadi bf sanga baschan blah blah blah". That jackass dont know that he has GC in his hand and workin in dhotis gas station like a slut.Beside that he dont know what american universities look like.So all the dv walas need to get some real life.
