Who's your next president 2016?

pollcode.com free polls

We've known Hillary for long time, her charity works towards numerous other humanitarian issues etc.
1. She gave and delivered a kickass commencement speech at Wellesley College in 1969.
2. She was one of 27 women who graduated from Yale Law School in 1973, out of a class of 235.
3. She was the only woman on the Nixon impeachment investigation team.
4. She cofounded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families advocacy group.
5. She broke the mold for first ladies with her speech at the 1995 United Nations Women's Conference in China.
6. She won a Grammy for the audio edition of her book, It Takes a Village.
7. She worked with Ted Kennedy to expand the Children's Health Insurance Program.
8. She won the most votes of any female presidential candidate in history.
9. She set the stage for Obamacare by pushing health care reform in the '90s and during the 2008 campaign.
10. She became the most-traveled U.S. secretary of state ever.
11. She set into motion the first American talks with Iran since the 1979 revolution.

Now who is Bernie Sanders, I don't know, I really don't know and to me he popped up suddenly out of nowhere. If you are partaking in a match, there has to be someone to compete with. I believe any contenders to Hillary are just those out there just for the sake of it(match aka debate). And for someone like me when I saw him suddenly on TV saying that he's getting donation for his campaign not from billionaires but public. People paid standing ovation with round of applause, so? so what's the point? Does that make him saint? But to lot of people that made sense and now he's everyone's' talk of the night. Yes, there are things that make lot of sense to people. The same people who would believe they're getting free Ipad on some fake facebook page of real publication, the same people who follow Trump the maniac, the same fans who would like/share tweets of their drughigh fav singer who claims earth is flat, the same people who resend/retext/reshare religious messages out of fear(do this or curse would happen type), the same people who argues Ron Paul's gold theory must come back in action, the same people who believe and sell all their belongings in the name of judgment day only to turn into homeless next day, seriously I sometimes think how gullible we are to think whatever we hear and see are the truths. Bernie Sanders is another hype to me. Few videos on youtube found me the guy was a big time critique of democratic party itself, and didn't spare Obama policy from criticizing. I am afraid of sweet talkers and often time they're the back stabbers.

In all honesty, I really can't trust this Bernie dude and it seems like how honestly he's saying his things, Hillary is the way to go. Campaigns can't be run without money, however way you get it, you need money. He'll be in billionaire's pocket too if he's to get presidency. Those who think he's not going to be, are just type of people I mentioned in a paragraph above this.

If you are OBAMA supporters, VOTE for Hillary, if you are not VOTE for bernie.

Good Luck.

I'm seeing Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States of America.

bittertruth omg, where did u get that pic? Poor Bernie :(
Please dont make the Bernie supporters angrier. They are just sulking right now. Let them sulk. But they are democrats, meaning rational and sensible people. Eventually, they will come around and support Hillary as long as we don't insult them or Bernie.

With Trump in the race, anything can happen. All the traditional rules are already down the drain. Even though the polls now show that Hillary will beat Trump, anything can happen. So, we need Bernie supporters. Don't offend them. They just need some time.

BathroomCoffee,
Do you see who is at the far right in the picture below:

He is John Lewis with MLK aka anti-segregation movement.

Do you know how he looks like now? There he is endorsing Hillary.

And, do you know what he says about Bernie Sanders,
"I never saw him. I never met him, I was chair of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee for three years, from 1963 to 1966. I was involved with the sit-ins, the Freedom Rides, the March on Washington, the march from Selma to Montgomery and directed (the) voter education project for six years. But I met Hillary Clinton. I met President (Bill) Clinton."

YEAP, Bernie Sanders is a liar. He was never a part of any kind of movement.

Read this snope
http://www.snopes.com/sanders-mlk-selma-march/

All pictures circulating all over social medias depicting him nearby MLK is fake propaganda spread by his supporters.

Bottomline: He's just as fake as other politicians.
In fact,
HE IS AN HONEST LIAR.
Now do you see why I dislike him.
Just because he is old doesn't mean all his lies should be truth.

Mily, am subscribed to both Bernie and Hillary campaign.
It's bit surprising but the picture of Bernie above was posted by disgruntled bernie supporter himself on one of the posts. I borrowed it.

Goodluck courting Bernie supporters. Way Hillary and their supporters are 30 pc will vote for Trump and another 30 pc will just sit out the election. What everyone is missing is Bernie is independent at heart and so are most of his supporters. It is independents who decide the general election at the end.

anon,
That's why I wrote this in posts above,
In my opinion, after this nomination gets over, Bernie should resign from Democratic Party once and for all. He was never a democrat, he better get back to his retirement and remain independent. He has done more harm than to benefit policies of DNC.

He scapegoated DNC to rise only to bite the dust.

BC, your formula doesn't justify Hillary's win in so many other states. Maybe the formula is:
Diverse population = Hillary win (except for Michigan)

Why are you obsessing with those 3 states? There is no evidence of foul play from Hillary's side. It's so unfair to keep tainting her name like this. You are making the likely democratic nominee a weaker general election candidate.

Happy 420

Barack Obama said, "I inhaled frequently," but Clinton ... well, he is a bit too evasive to acknowledge it.

Phew! This is a contentious issue; no joke huh! One argument that we all agree is that it is nearly impossible to change peoples' mind about political leaning. This is interesting because, IMO, most of us clearly do not have substantive policy fact-sheets to check which candidates' stance on a particular topical issue has been favourable to that of our own. For example, I feel that I am socially progressive in issues like LGBT rights, abortion rights, banning any type of guns etc (once again, because of my background: I was not born here, I live in a city etc) at the same time I think I should support Fiscal Conservative measures like curbing government spending, controlling government handouts, tax relief for my W2 income. I do not even have a general idea of how that is possible. On social progressive issues, possibly, people like myself can be unsure or even apathetic. I think, fiscal conservatism, on the other hand, brings me immediate rewards. But achieving any type of policy changes in both side of the spectrum is a gargantuan task.

This in a systemic and well established country.

Think about what challenges we face for our own country, Nepal. In that sense, how do you think we are faring - i.e in building consensus for policy changes that promotes economic development in Nepal?

Lol kalidasbhaisaab,

People love fiscal conservative measures until they are asked if they are willing to give up their Social Security, Medicare, VA benefits, EI, education funding, military spending, FEMA budget etc and many of them rail against "socialism" anyway.

Love this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POweJigpUN8

I agree it's not an easy answer. Freakonomics author duo Stephen Dubner and Steven Levitt in their 'Think Like a Freak' have an analogy about this. In one contentious example of policy problem, they write about education reform. Everybody talks about school reforms in Inner Cities, our ailing public schools (in Ghettos!), teacher grading, performance based pays, after school programs for vulnerable kids etc. No one have attempted to approach the problem from parenting perspective. Kids spend 11 waking hours at their parents. If Inner City parents are not helping their kids succeed at school then it is a major problem. Long story short, the topic they wrote was about approaching a problem from all data sets and variables. In this case, you are right, the policy of cutting government spending can only approach via Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Military. Those programs are the skin lumps, other programs are mere small warts in your finger. But guess who will speak for cutting those big programs - No one. So here we are.

Mily, Diverse population = Hillary win (except for Michigan) ?? lol Diverse Independent Voters Not Inclusive In The Democratic Process. Is more like it.
Those 3(NY, AZ, MA) states were where Independent Voters complained about running into problems.

Lets face the facts,"MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST HILLARY." Nobody has talked about her scandals(there are so many of them I don't even know where to start), her rags to riches story after white house(how she amassed those millions), the Clinton Foundation donation problem(donations from foreign governments = access to State Dept).

Christ himself couldn’t persuade Sanders’ enthusiasts to support party that sanctions/participates in corruption of voting process

Bernie Sanders’ Political Revolution entered a critical stage yesterday with the disenfranchisement of millions of voters in the state of New York.

It’sa turning point not because it marks the end of Bernie’s march to the White House, as media pundits and Clinton supporters gleefully assert. No, it’s a point of no return for those Sanders’ supporters who once thought they could vote for whomever ended up at the top of the Democratic ticket.

ForgetBernie or Bust. This is Bernie or Operation Take Down. Party elites, in particular the Democratic National Committee (DNC), have proven themselves sobiased against Bernie and so willing to turn a blind eye to voting irregularities that the entire apparatus needs to go.

Even if Bernie ends up asking his supporters to vote for Clinton in the general election, many still won’t. Personally, I don’t care if Jesus Christ himself came down from heavenwielding lightning bolts in both hands and commanding me to join Team Clinton. It.Ain’t.Gonna.Happen.

Theparty has become so depraved and anti-democratic that it needs to be destroyed so that a better version of itself can rise from the ashes like the mythical Phoenix.

For the all the shenanigans that happened yesterday, Hillary only walked away with about 30 more delegates than Bernie.

Make no mistake about it: The fiasco at the polls disproportionately prevented Sanders’ supporters, many of whom previously were Independents, from voting. And if you’re OK with that because your candidate won, then you are part of the problem.

Approximately 3.2 million New York residents were barred from voting Tuesday. The state has a closed primary, meaning voters must declare allegiance to either the Republicans or Democrats prior to voting.

Voters had until October 9 of last year193 days before yesterday’s primaryto change their party status, according to FiveThirtyEight. In addition to being one of only a handful of closed primary states, New York also has the earliest change-of-party deadlines in the nation.

The narrow time frame meant that voters had to make up their minds about who they were going to vote for before they had even heard of Bernie Sanders.

Worse, many voters who played by the absurd rules still got screwed. A lawsuit filed. Monday by Election Justice USA alleges that some voters who met the state’s unreasonable October deadline never had their party affiliation updated or somehow had it switched to “unaffiliated.”

And the ironically named Democratic Party seems OK with all this mischief.

Congratulations, Debbie! You and your friends in the Democratic Party have single-handedly thwarted democracy.

Additionally, about 130,000 Democrats in Brooklyn, Bernie’s hometown, were inexplicably purged from voter rolls. Again, no fuss from party elites, other than insincere expressions of “concern” over the “irregularity.” Incidentally, Hillary won Brooklyn by approximately 50,000 votes.

I’m sure Republican Party leaders are taking notes and incorporating the Democratic Party’s voter suppression strategies into their playbook for future use.

This nauseating reality brings me to an important point: If the Democratic Party is going to act like Republicans, why should Bernie supporters give it our loyalty?

If you sincerely care about voting rights in this country, you wouldn’t sit back while the media lull you into a zombie-like state of acceptance. And you definitely wouldn’t vote for Clinton, either in the primary or general election.

Voter suppression is not the way to win people over to Clinton’s cause. Frustration over the collusion between the DNC, the Democratic Party establishment and the Clinton campaign to thwart democracy by hook or crook (“crook” being the more appropriate term here) are not winning them fans or fidelity.

The Democratic Party machine doesn’t understand that their threats about a Trump or Cruz presidency don’t faze many Berners. I welcome either alternative over a Clinton presidency. What’s the difference? Sure, Trump and Cruz are malevolent, fiscally conservative, social-program-destroying megalomaniacs eager to bomb out of existence any perceived threat to the United States. Oh, wait. I meant Clinton.

The only real difference between the three is that two are known racists. Theother just rails against “super-predators” while working on “CP time” (Hillary and her then-President husband were notoriously late for many official events while in the White House).

The casual response to voter suppression by Democratic leaders has led many Sanders’ supporters to wonder if the DNC data breach that occurred in December between the two campaigns was deliberate and intended to give Team Clinton the edge.

The computer firewall separating Sanders and Clinton voter files was down, briefly allowing both campaigns to access the other side’s valuable voter data. The Sanders’ campaign brought the problem to the DNC’s attention, and the DNC responded by publicly criticizing a Sanders’ staffer for looking at Clinton’s files.

Bernie promptly fired the staffer, who ironically had been recommended to the Sanders’ campaign by the NC. Curiously, it wasn’t reported whether or not a Clinton staffer viewed Bernie’s voter files.

But it does seem strange that tens of thousands of voters in Bernie’s hometown of Brooklyn suddenly found they couldn’t participate in yesterday’s primary.

We will never know the truth. That’s how the Democratic Party machinepopulated by politician-lawyersworks. But where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And in this case, the fog is so thick manyBernie supporters are choking on it.

Refusal to vote for Clinton is not sour grapes. It is imperative to getting our democracy back. I refuse to put my stamp of approval on a candidate and a party.

whose machinations are depriving Americans the right to vote, a right that previous generations fought for and died.

Forget about the revolution. It’s time for revolt.
