Dear Friends, As you have heard earlier, we engineers in USA would like to initiate a non-profit, non-political and pure technical professional organization, we are watiting patiently for your responses. Please give us some portion of your valuable time to suggest us about the upcoming organization. Its obvious that we are bound with so many personal burdens due to tough life, however, its the time to gather our strengths, get united and do something for the land we were born. Furthermore, its the time for us to be updated with the recent changes in the engineering field. So, please do not hesitate to put forward your ideas, views and suggestions. Your advice will play a vital role in determining the goals and objectives of the organization.

I think nepeleseengineers is a civil engineer. He focused more into the ASCE, EIT, PE stuffs. how about ITE, ASME, IEEE, and many other organizations. The first question that comes in my mind is, what is the whole purpose of this association. How it gonna benefit fellow nepali engineers or nepali community or nepal? Does it have a website yet? it would be nice if all the practicing engineers will provide some job informations also in their website. Most of you are working I guess, so how about putting job information in the website of your company if they are seeking any candidates? How about traning stuffs? how about other helpful tips for inspiring engieners? just having association does nt mean anything. those who has shown leadership, should be committed and put forward some ideas which can be beneficial for the members. Please put some input everyon, especially nepeleseengieers. thanks.

nicely said...I agree number. If people were to raise concern over practicality of an organization, they should do something like you did...probably jot down some solutions...so that the initiator can ponder over them...and work towards it. There are some people however...who are more interested in criticizing and just pulling legs or probably give a mean smirk when they are done writing their thingy.

As per the bylaws established till now, you (ne23pe ) can be a member of the organization. 2.ITE, ASME, IEEE, and many other organizations will be broght into light shortly-thanks for watching us. 3. Website will be launched shortly: we will try to include as many resources we can. 4. IT professionals-under discussion 5. Himalayantigers suggestion about the name: we are receiving so many names via emails. Currently we are using Nepali Engineers Society of America (NESA) temporarily. Thank you agaian

ne23pe, Rob is Nepali American, who is working to finance a large start-up project. nepalesengineers - Excellent idea and keep up the good work! There is a certainly a need to fill the void of engineers presence, and your effort could organize an organization in cyberspace. People who invented telephone, cellphone, airplane, personal computer, car, etc. are also people who service communities throughout the world in an indirect way. It is matter of looking things with perpective. What you are doing is Excellent and if you pass along this information to your peers, then you are also doing a community service! If you know any engineer in your data list who wants to be a part of new invention for community, feel free to let them know because the project LS4.org is about to start and he may miss a chance to create something for the community. ^_______\____ |_____________|>>> /
