Thanks for getting rid of that left navigation menu - never really liked it. The top navigation links are aesthetically more pleasing in my opinion and looked much cleaner! :)

BTW, you cant post to the flashy window from clean.sajha.com or light.sajha.com - you have to be logged into the main sajha.com domain.

Dunno about the others, but while the flashy pop-up is nifty, it distracts from the main content. Also, one more window to manage since it opens up a new window. I use new tabs to open links on Safari and Firefox, but that setting seems to be overriden and it zooms out on a new window which can get a bit cumbersome to manage after a while :)

I wonder what else is cooking ? :P :D

I am avoiding the pop-ups altogether by using the Kurakani tab and launching the threads from there instead of from the home page.

Okay seems like a lot of browser compatibility issues pop up along with the pop up window and formatting.

We'll try to leave it simple n functional for now. Also I'll be incorporating a google search engine to search older threads.

Miscellaneous could go up on one of the Menu tabs.
There still are a lotta redundancy between the Bottom Menu and the rest of the side menus. Maybe that will take sum of that clutter out ? Ke cha bichaar huh !!

Pop-ups are a tricky business - I think most people are instinctively hostile to them because of abuse by some sites both in the past and in the present. Also a lot of movement on the screen when the main content of the site is to be read (as opposed to watched or listened to) is something people generally don't have a natural affinity for IMHO. :D

San dai - While we have your ear, if I may, I'd like to make a few other suggestions that you might want to consider and decide the what the best course of action for each is:

(1) At the bottom of the home page, right after the Kurakani section ends and before the "Quick Links" section begins, there is a lot of extra spacing giving the impression that that part of the page is ignored.

(2) I have tried this on multiple machines and different browsers but there is a lot of unused spaced in the kurakani section after where it says how many posts and views.

(3) Since you now have a Calendar of Events, which I think is awesome, is there still a need to have the events listed on the top left of the home page? If there is, can that section be changed to the same format as the Calendar of a Events because the latter looks much cleaner and better organized. Not sure how feasible it is, but just a thought.

yeah it is sucha pain that extra click...it's like i have no energy to click after that...like im at the ultimate clicking point and that screen appears... git rid of it san mun..if possible

Lol lurey, I don't know if those clicks are really that energy consuming but sometimes I do have to click it --Three Times-- just to go forward to my preferred page, kind of annoying. It is a pain and yet i still don't know the reason behind that extra --Three Clicks--.

Mr August - Perhaps the admin can expain this better than me, but if memory serves me, the "Eta Hernuhos" has something to do with better managing how pages are refreshed. People are constantly refreshing the site and that taxes the server. Having a landing page I believe reduces that extra burden on the server - is that right, San bro?

Ho ho ho ... someone got pricked quite a bit there when held to task. Before you go too far with that behind the internet theory, look in the mirror and go back to your own viscous post. Trust me, I have no problems taking on anyone - the least of all you - whether online or offline.

If you post innuendos on an open public forum , then you should be prepared for others to take on your comment. When you make a blatant and provocative statement like that, unless you are so blind or stupid not to notice that people have posted before you, you should be ready for a response that fits such a charge.

You are wrong that giving due credit to the admin for these changes is ass kissing and no amount of whining and whimpering is going to change that. I have yet to hear a single follow up comment that justifies giving feedback as ass-kissing.
