I know Sajha is your baby and you have every right to give it any kind of haircut you choose. But as a frequent clicker of your site, I too have every right to voice my grievances.

It looks like creative work is getting a very low priority in your new format.

1. First, the headings for Stories/Poems,Ghazals/Humor section are collapsed. Why can’t you display the five most recent threads and give an option of ‘More’ for these headings as well? Are we really that less important than ‘Kurakani’?

2. Kurakani & Classifieds & Immigration take precedence over creative writings. Call me biased, but I favor “Ek haat testai” over ‘Graduate Lady Wanted for Marriage’ any given married day.

I don’t know about other writers, but I write here because I want to reach to more people. I have always been as shameless as humanly possible about it. With this thread, I am only taking it to a new height of shamelessness.

I come to Sajha because nobody promoted me more than you did in the beginning (not even SNDY). I have always felt deeply grateful and a little embarrassed because I was not worth it.

There are some very good writers/poets in Sajha. I am sure I speak for all of them when I ask you: “Did your dingo eat my thread, San?” ( It’s a Seinfeld line, I have no idea what it means).

I hope you will reconsider. By now, Sajha to you must be more than just a product. Whatever you reply, please don’t tell me to do: “Hey sum_off, you can always click on ‘I like Old Style’."

The reason we are still humans is because we are so used to defaults.

IMO, hillary is easily in the driver's seat of this cross-country race at the moment. i hope she is a good driver. guiliani or freddie-the-late-thompson better serve as good conductors :P. guiliani fares better than thompson in 'barely democratic' states but the latter may pick up slowly in the hardcore 'red' states, however, it will take a minor miracle for thompson to catch up with guliani especially with his late start whereas guiliani's mediocre political background compared to hillary's and his controversial personal life can only prove detrimental to his pursuit and beneficial to hillary. oh and all of a sudden Obama sounds like a toddler to me :P

Loote, I think that suggestion about moderators is a good one ... dunno how it can be done. Plus you need to find people who are interested in doing it and whom San trusts and feels comfortable delegating to, if at all he wants to. Looks like too many planets need to align there. (Unless you want to volunteer and can win his trust ... ha ha)

Captain Sab, those are already in Other discussions currently. I will add them on front page too. I hope the overlapping images and other issues have been resolved. I will probably take out the ability to have the other catagories open because if someone has all the catagories open, it could tie up the server resources.

Haddock, about internet chaperones, why don't we all make it a lot easier. Here's my suggestion

If a heated discussion arises, I think the moderators should let each know who the other is so that they could meet up and just knock some sense into each other's head. Even though it sounds as retarded as it does, I'm serious! That is THE ONLY way we can have all these swear words filled discussions going around here not continue and new people coming into the thread would not be disgusted by whats going on. Also, I feel (and have seen) there are too many "e-heroes and e-gangstas" on sajha and someone needs to just put them to rest as most can't even back themselves up with what they say!! And that someone could be me!

Maybe sajha needs to do a reunion kinda thing where we all meet up and know who each on is and let the guys talking shit about me hide at the mere sight of my name-tag on my chest. Hahahaha Now that would be a utopian sajha for me!!

Hahaha All in all, lets try and keep threads intended to be educational remain as valuable as it could be. And also maybe we can have a different section for the R rated threads where "anything" goes. I wouldn't mind moderating that one fo' sho!!
