Guys, If you apply for a travel document now based on pending TPS application, you will receive an advance parole document (I-512L) vs if you apply after your TPS application is approved, you will receive a travel authorization document (I-512T). The latter is much stronger document and you will be ADMITTED into the US after foreign travel whereas with advance parole document you will be PAROLED into the US. It matters because with admission you can apply for adjustment of status even if you had unlawful presence in the past before getting TPS.

Its the same furke. From last year they changed to I-512T. With advance parole u aint be admitted but paroled only . This is for everybody

The only difference is I-512T will get you admitted into TPS status and will be valid until the end of the current TPS term. where as I-512L will be only valid for one year.

@raj11 I would still upload a copy of the TPS approval you got previously, a passport copy, and a recent I-94 just to be on the safe side.
