Inspired by few awesome pieces, & a sudden surge; a random thoughts in oblivion; I decided to form in words. I hope you guys like it; but am open to critisim, constructive if you'd please.

It may be the only piece or perhaps few mores will follow. I doubt it'll find it's way to the end. But then again, the most difficult & thus important thing is to start; where it ends is entirely another matter. Also it could be something different from my everyday obsequiousness/sycophancy; albeit with/for fun. So why not? Consider it as fiction or fact, it remains a reminiscence, a leaf out of my past. As it feels, my imaginary past.

***********-----------------------------------------------------------************
I was visiting that city after quite some time. I don't know why that place always felt like home away from home. Hundreds of miles away, without anyone to answer to, free to do, act and explore what we see/feel & be ourselves unlike incognito picture we often have to present of ourselves, for the fear of rejection, failure, or simply because we feel disguise is the wise thing to do.

I felt like I know those people, that city. That was not just any other place, but the one where I understood, or so I 'think' a lot about friendship, college, parties, drugs, people, and life & yes?love. Sad as it may be, it taught me, with time, like everything else, love dies. And I am so happy it does. It taught me, there is nothing more powerful in this world, except time; not even love. Oh! Well, where was I? Yeah that place....& those times.....................

Juvenileness and passion
A burning meadowland
Of promises denied.

Ineffably,
Hearts rupture
Dews burn
Acidic jagged scar
Reminiscences!

Skewed feelings
Suffocation
Murky boulevard
Weeks, months and years...
Unrecognizable!!

Like needles
It pierced
Threading
Stitching
Layer after layer,
Pain; unspeakable
Numb...

Now,

Those layers
A colorful blueprint
In my otherwise
Barren life.

But,

Glistening smile'
Buried love
Guilt free
I captain,
My lonely ship
Not to you
But her.

My eternal sunshine!!!

Aforesaid abstract convulsion fostered while (and) after I went thru the melodramatic craps I wrote. A wry smile has been accompanying me since, with a tinge of wariness. For whatever its worth, it's up there.

---------------

Lemon, although rest of the story is self explanatory, I did wanted to share few more reminiscence. Alas, there was little stuff I needed to work into. The intricacies of non fiction which might send wrong messages and my inability to work beyond it left me with where we are right now.

I appreciate you reading it though! Hope you enjoyed it.

Many thanks.
-----------------------------------------

John,

My empathy is with you regarding Bedija. I have met and talked to her. She appeared a vibrant and full of life. I did not know her though. But she appeared mischievous, and one who loved living. God bless her and others.

I hope you’ll grace Sajha with Grace’s picture yet again. I remember (the one) her chasing pigeons. I am extremely fond of kids, and yours is as lovely as they come.

Many thanks for the read. Take care.

Siyo le ghochera ghau banauda ta jancha, tara jeewan ma pani, luga jastai butta bharna ghocdai design banauna parcha ni, ki kaso sriya? But those are just words. Nothing more, nothing less. Re kya ajaiiii hahaha ;)

P.S: Someone mentioned that the snippet abstract poem I came up with depicted a sad picture. In fact, I could not be more blessed and fortunate, really.

Will come up with more (donno when :( ), when sweetness'll strike me dead. This one is NOT coded ;). Sabai maun pathak lai pani dherai dhanyebaad.

Atsu!

When I saw this thread come up I was so excited. I thought that Indi jyu finally would add some more of his incredible work.. but I was disheartened to see that that was not the case. Indi you know I am a great fan of your work.. why not write more?

Darshan Indis jyu,

Peshekhitmat hai...

Mafi chahati hoon deri ke liye
kya karoon...
Kadam the kuch sust sust
aur dhadkan thi thami thami
Sabab?

Har shaam ek leher uthi thi dil mein
Leher thi uski intezaar ka
Umeed bhari nigahen
padi raheti thi wohi naam per

Mujhe yakin tha .. mujhe yakin tha
ki woh ayega phir ek baar
Aur mere khoye huye jajbaat
jaag uthenge phir ek baar

Uski aasmani libaaj aur gale ki peeli dor
kahan bhoola paun mai wo sada chitchor

Dabdabane lage mere nain
padhkar uski adhoori dastaan
Tajjoob hua sunkar
mohabbat ne pighlaya pathhar

Fakra hai un Cleopatra, Radha aur Laila per
Jo de gaye is diwane ko wo pyaar beshumaar

Ab apni daastaan kya sunaye hum
Meera ne kahan chhina tha Radhe ka Mohan
Wo to sirf darshan diwani hai
kis kis ko samjhayen hum.

Adaab ;)

Flips, I am always Devdas. By choice, mind you!:)

-----------------------
Nirman, it was a pleasure to see you back. I reckon you mentioned that exam' is keeping you busy. Must be over now, eh'!. Katha chai ma sachai thapchu tara ahile kehi din haru pachi.

I expect to read more of you brother. I hope the zesty red parrot conveyed my regards to thee. Keep in touch.

Aba Sajha aune nai guppe fekna lai. Afu lai je ramailo lagcha garnai paryo ni, Ki kaso? ;)
------------------------------------------------------------------

What can I say to thee O' madam on summit?
This poor soul is blown away with your "adaab"

Kadam sust susta and dhadkan thami thami re? Wah wah :p

And,
"Dabdabane lage mere nain
padhkar uski adhoori dastaan
Tajjoob hua sunkar
mohabbat ne pighlaya pathhar

Fakra hai un Cleopatra, Radha aur Laila per
Jo de gaye is diwane ko wo pyaar beshumaar

Ab apni daastaan kya sunaye hum
Meera ne kahan chhina tha Radhe ka Mohan
Wo to sirf darshan diwani hai
kis kis ko samjhayen hum."

Dincha keti le tyam tyam ma. :)

As I gaze up from this nadir
From the pedestal
My hands meet each other
Thunderous rapture
And,
Without even trying
"Anahakma" I make a sound
'Subaanallah!'

"Chitchor" --- Yeah yeah that's me. I was master in that. I owe whatever little degree I have to chitchor attributes of mine. Then again, I could be another chitchor as well. ;)

Gufai guff ma...
IndisGuise:)
