Welcome to Nepali NFL 2006, the Playoff match between the players who competed in the regular season (under Are you ready for some football thread) and managed to be one of the TOP 14 Teams!!!

This is the Playoff and 14 top teams qualify (names and Tie sheet to come soon)

Rules
1. Each player should predict winner and loser and also the final points.
2. The player who correctly predicts the winner wins the matchup. If both players predict same winner, final points will be compared.
3. Differential* will be used to find out whose prediction was closest, point wise. Player with lowest differential wins the match-up.
4. If both winner/loser and points are tied then the player who had predicted first will win the matchup.


*Differntial = |(predicted winning points-actual winning points)| + |(predicted losing points - actual losing points)| .

That's it!!! So let the predicting game start.

It's funny, I lead the league in regular season, and second week of playoff, I am at the rock bottom of the chart.

Congratulations to Despremi123, you are the sole leader of the league this week. Turbine had the lowest differential while Ubiquitos had highest differential.

Congratulations to Redsox_pats, Slash, Hangu_lama and Sangam as well for making to next round.

Damn NFL playoffs sucks when it comes to predictions.... one week u can look like a freakin genius and next week u will come out a total idiot....ya feel me :D

What with pats and "Indi" taking the beating. :O. Just when I was taking a total interest in the thick of things. Arrggg...

This weekend sucked.

Exactly Hukka and Indisguise. Imagine my disappointment. Got badly beaten in both matches. Knocked out of the playoff and was at the bottom in the ranking. And I still have to post the results.
Who knew Indy and NE were going to loose..well I guess few of us did know.

People are really surprise about INDY-STEELERS game but not the DENVER-NE game ....

Hey UNit, i think people are more surprised with the NE - Broncos game. Reasons:
1. NE Patriots used to win by forcing the mistakes.. and not by making mistakes.
2. That Passing Interference call was the "WORST call in the NFL history." If you don't beleive me you can read any news in NFL or ESPN or FOX-NFL news.
3. Brady was always the clutch player who would have thought he would make such a blunder. Unlike Peyton who has hardly won any playoffs games. Thats why he is known as Mr. October.
4. Broncos didnt beat NE... NE beat themselves. So many mistakes.. So many turnovers.

But, i still think that one interference call play made the biggest difference in that game.
Hopefully we can see them playing better Next year.

Due to my schedule I didn't get to catch any of the games, just the highlights. Indy came so close ..... just one single missed tackle and outcome would have been diff.

Win is a win is a win... mistakes or not. Lets blame it on the altitute, shall we? :)

BRONCOS will win the SuperBowl.... get it !!!
