Streets are same, people are same, even the clothes they wore are same, bus park is same.. eh... !! harey... damn, the only thing that has changed was the tanker(?? or may I call is ma-tankar? मट्याङ्कर like मट्याङ्ग्रा??) in front of Sajha Yatayat. ehe...

सान दाइ, धन्यवाद है यस्ता राम्रो राम्रा फोटाहरू टाँस्दिनु भएकोमा! म त nostalgic भएँ, विशेषगरी मंगलबजारका फोटाहरूले गर्दा, आफ्नो त बाल्यकाल ती नै मन्दिरहरूबाट तल माथि उफ्रँदै बित्या हो, त्यसैले चाँडो आकर्षित हुन्छु त्यतातिरका चित्रहरू देख्दा। अरू पनि टाँस्दै गर्नुस्, अनि बिहेको फेरी शुभकामना है!

I know rite kalanki, everything looks so same, pani ko line, dhungedhara, and all that jazz. I guess kalankisthan is the same too : Loud lok geets, chaos traffic, dhoti ko puri pasal. Dyamnn kalankisthan was heck of a place.

jyotsna_manorama, don't know which Kalankisthan you are talkin' about, but "my" Kalankisthan was really beautiful, full of soft melodies, perfectly co-ordinated traffic, cappucino and green tea shop with sauni ko chori's as a cash-register operator n manager. If you went there during the spring, each side of the road would be filled with jai ko phool, Kukkur phool, parijaat and dhwang phool. True, it's one heck of a place in Kathmandu, a true heaven where Kalanki-maai resides. :P And, going with the flow, Kalankisthan is also one heck of a guy, re kyaa!!

Daymn, ho bhanya... Dhoti sathi haru lai dhaak ni dekhai, :P ajha Cybernepal.com dekhai dekhai... "Dekha, Teri ma bajje, hamar city, 10 years, Drastic change ... hua, Your pahadgunj hua?" bhanera. :p Bicharo afno Kathmandu ta afu le jasto chodera aako ustai raicha... Maya nai lagyo.. :S

san ko bihe le bhimsen sthan ma traffic jam hune bho. If I know the dates I will alert my family to take other route during the janti days because that bhimsenthan leads to maru where my family do all the shopping in newroad or grocery. San used to spend a lot of time in that shop remember???same street different direction it was my every day walking route...I am nostaligic I am even missing seeing the shops and the shop keepers
