yes, he used to have lens( Chasma), I think he is sharma or Misra. He looked like from Tarai region.

Chipledhunga , dude you don't know how precious that picture is. Thanks a bunch. This bus was brought around 1986 if I do remember clearly. It used to transport students from Patan area.

Tmobile, yes, he used to rent a room in my friend's home he is now in Boston. He has a brother too. We used to go to Raghu sir ko ma tuition too.

Neptex, I was browsing the thread "LETS SEE SOME FLYASS AUTOMOBILEZ" and was pleasantly surprised to find that bus. It operated till 1985. When I joined MAV in 1986, it was gone :(

I used to see that bus almost every day in Sanepa. It definitely outstood other vehicles as it slowly moved with its unique noise.

Does anyone know what happened to it after that? Was it simply scrapped, left to rust, or was it lucky enough to find a collector?

Oh my god, thats MAV"s bus in the old days?? God im feeling nostalgic..damn i love our old MAV...whoever did this thing thanks a lot..i mean listing our school here on Sajha and starting the thread.Its awesome.

when i joined the school in 1983,that bus was already there,we called it HELICOPTER, because of its sound.in 1986 MAV got new red colored bus in very cheap price.

Hi!chipledhunga,picture of that "HARIYO BUS"reminded me of buying titaura,mithai,that brownish stuff I forgot the name of it.The name of the driver was Ganesh dai.Very nice guy.I think one of his son was also studying there.Resaamfiriri...resaamfiriri...udera jau ki danda ma basu ....resaamfiriri.....kidding...ha..ha...ha.!!!I know mingma becoz.......
