Yeah baby, this is what we all wanted to see. Lakers up 2-1. and they have to go up 3-1 in the next home game. what a 2nd half exp 4th quarter. ball movements was good and there was good finish in every possessions. who had ever expected kobe to be averaging less than 30 in the post season and go up 2-1 against filthy #2 suns. who had ever expected all starters to be in double-figure in 2nd time in a row in the post-season? ironically, this has happened only 3 times in the regular season.do you guys know that lakers won 11 of their last 15 games in the regular season to grab the #7 for the playoffs. in this series, kobe has proved why he is the real mvp. he is not just the scoring machine, rather he is more than that, he is a playmaker for this young lakers team. what a performance by walton and parker tonite. better give mvp award to kobe, not to nash. go lakers!! go kobe....!!!

kobe's going to be like malone, i mean good but hated, i mean u need someone to hate on too, i mean i do like one thing about kobe his wife vanessa haha i hope even the kobe lovers will agree with me on this one. anyways a close win for the spurs, 1-0. pistons over cavaliers, i hope lebron takes over, i mean would be worth watching atleast. what;s with the kobe fervor anyways. we all know he is good but do we have to like him? i personally like wade hope he continues playing consistent with that hip injury he picked him, with him and shaq but against kidd, jefferson and carter who knows but i do know one thing krstic is going to get dieseled.

Kristic has to make outside shot.. he has no chance inside against Diesel but i think Nets balanced team could beat Miami heat... Wizards could have played better than Cavs against the Pistons..such a boring series...

Cleveland might win 1 game against Detroit....I think Nets can beat Miami in 6 or 7....Kristic will make Shaq work hard on the defensive end....they might put Shaq and Alonzo together to guard Kristic..would be interesting series....Nets Vs Miami and Spurs Vs. Mavs are the games to watch in the 2nd round...Suns and Clippers will be entertaining as well......

This thread is about Lakers and Kobe... let's talk about them:=) What did really happened?? Why did kobe took only 3 shots in the 2nd half??? What went wrong on the locker room during the half time??? Did Zen Master give up too soon? Why did he start parker?? Why wasn't the rotation changed? Why was veteran players like McKie and Jackson sitting at the end of the bench??? Is Kobe scared of guarding 2 time MVP NASH??? is Zen Master still ticked off with Lakers org for letting him go 2 years ago? could it be that Zen Master was eagerly waiting to head back to Montana and write another book??? I believe Buss family and Lakers fans need answers from Kobe and Zen Master for effortless game. Don't you think so lakers fans??? I hope Lakers will retool for next year.... lakers need PG,hopefully they will be able to land quality PG like Hinrich and get theveteran players whocan hit JUMPERS :=) aakash bro, from Omaha? must be a HUSKER fan eh??? KC bro, where in LA??? let's meet and watch SUNS vs the best team in LA :=) bro don't forget to listen to 570 AM tomo

aakash bro, I was excited how Huskers started their season last year ... they really disappointed me :s I am glad they are playing against USC later this year... it's been long time since i saw them playing in stadium..... mr/miss delicate, godo to have you back.... I am still waiting to get some pointer on MVP :=( I am surprised Kobe was #4 on the MVP list.... voters seem to be more generous to Kobe than me... glad to know Sir Charles has the same view as me regarding Kobe :p:p

Kobe's chapter is closed for this season already... we don't need to be talkin about him.. whos got the title now?? Detroit? Dallas? or is it spurs again?? i wouldnt' be surprise if they take it... i want nets though.. slim chance for Kidd before he retires... hope carter jefferson and krstic do what they did in their 14-0 run during the season...

Sidster: I think we have a few EPSIANS in NE...... Are you talking about A.Pradhan?? He is 4 batch senior than me......His younger brother and I were friends in school.....EPS rocks man.... Guys: Kobe got screwed big time by the voters in the MVP race...he was judged not on the basis of what he did/does on the basketball floor, but how he gets blamed for everything else that happens off the court...That suxs......Lebron James scored 0 points in the second half yesterday against Detroit, and no one is questioning him, but Kobe tried to involve his team-mates to get going in Game 7, and he is being criticized for not taking the shots.....I bet he is the most unfairly judged player in the NBA..and a victim of false accusations.....You guys should have listened to Colin Cowherd on ESPN radio this morning...he had the best arguments in favor of Kobe.....despite him being an avid Kobe Basher !!!

We're back in action. Last night game was a thriller. Lamar Odom was superb with 34 points 13 rebounds and six assists, Andrew Bynum had 18 points and 9 rebounds, and Maurice Evans added 17 points. Without Kobe and Kwame Brown, Lakers still played magnificiently. I'm thrilled with the team performance and this squad definitely looks strong. What a vengeance! Watch out guys...we're back....Lakers is back! Woohooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
