Here are some of the stocks that showed up on my buy scan. We may have seen the low but it is possible that we see one more sell-off to wash the weak hands. Currently I am doing intraday trades  from the long side only. If S&P closes below 800, I'll stay on the sidelines.

If the market goes up from here these stocks should easily double. The holding period is at least 1 year (if profitable). Put these stocks on your watch list and when you see a pattern as described on the follwing link, you can buy. ALWAYS use stop losses. Stops should be somewhere between the low of the cup and low of the handle. This pattern is described in detail in William O Neil's book, "How to make money in stocks". You can probably get it from your local library or buy one...it is worth the money. If you are patient and wait for the right time you should do pretty good at the end.

You need to open an account with a broker. Use ameritrade or scottrade. Once you fund your account you can buy/sell stocks. I did not mean to ignore your questions but this thread is to discuss stocks that are making moves or likely to make huge moves.

I use etrade , i like it better than scottrade, even though per trade, it charges $9.99 where as scottrade charges $7. There are other cheap ones but i like etrade and they r giving u 100 free trades if u sign up now..Hopefully it helps.

I sold AIG, C, BAC last Friday and made some gain. Did I do mistake? My prediction is that these stocks will go down on Monday. I will buy again on Monday or Tuesday once these go down.

Yup, I wonder if I should've sold my stocks last Friday, as Dhoti did.

My portfolio, which is heavy on financials, was up 43% as of cod Friday.  We'll see what happens on Monday.

I will be very closely watchig SP at 950. I see huge long term resistence at that level, if we break that we are in for a good run ..enjoy trading tomorrow..If not then  we are headed for 880.

I like the below ones after doing some research, esp AAP (CEO buying shares last month always a good sign) But I'm looking at (4-5) % trigger price since friday close along with 950 S&P level to get in on these stocks.  I think AAP is good long term hold as well or atleast the end of the summer ( this company is the new hottest brand among 15-30 yrs old, I also noted it is very fundamentally sound company with good rev & cash flow. It could be buffet's next takeover target.

I  just bought C.Don't think it will go down.

I'm taking MED and VSH off from last week's buy list. These two stocks are not acting right.

Bought SVVS (10.79) and QDEL (12.19).

Looks like I bought those at the very high of the day..........

looks like the market might close lower for second day in a row. I see this as a confirmation of a short term pullback. Actually, I think tomorrow will be a major down day if we do close lower today. I will follow the financials up to the close and might buy some FAZ.

I think,it is just a profit taking and it will head upward ...We may see last hour rally..

I sold my C earlier today and bought PNNB.  I made a very wise decision. PNNB was up by almost 28000%.

What does that mean. Is PNNB bound for bankruptcy or something? I saw that the stocks were at $5 just about a month ago but now selling at 0.02 cents. Sounds like a good deal to throw couple hundreds at it.
