Shree5, I think I share your views. Here is a small musing. I think, and this is what I have been saying (my pet AGHORI theory), whoever comes forward and FIRST to give a clear political leadership to DEMOCRATIC republican revolution, this force will establish itself as the most dominant political power in future, regardless of how the revolution actually moves forward (initial hiccups, stalling included). So I agree that if the Maoists come forward to give the political leadership to the DEMOCRATIC republican revolution before parliamentary parties do, they will get it. However, I doubt they will. I don't think the Prachanda-pathiks will so fast, if not ever, renounce the communist ideology to lay their PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC to rest for good from their party ideology. Their ongoing tactical support to DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC is not enough to get the leadership. Breaking up of the outfit might bring a small group to the DEMOCRATIC camp. However, I wouldn't underestimate the iron discipline of the outfit for that to happen. In any case, in order to qualify for the leadership they will have to go through a massive re-indoctrination campaign/program espousing DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC as their party ideology (ala how "Janatako bahudalia janabad" became UML's ideology) from top to bottom in their outfit. Would that happen ? Yes, but some day. I can't say when. Only thing we see is the pressure they are feeling, the same pressure the parliamentary parties are feeling to espouse republican revolution. Some might feel that the competition to get the hat of DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC has already begun between the Maoists and the parties. May be, but it is still more of a wishful thinking than a reality. I do hope they move for the competition and the parliamentary parties win the race. If the current vacuum of leadership continues, then definitely the "civil society" will have to keep burning the flame or, if it still continues, to take up the political leadership of the revolution. Will it happen ? I can't say. But wouldn't that be a glorious history for Nepal ? I often fantasized about a new political party comprising of respected leaders of the "civil society" and "clean" people stolen from parliamentary parties. However, since the youth wing of NC and UML started to call for a republic towards the end of 2003, I suspended my fantasy and am looking with a great hope to NC and UML. However, I still wonder if a lot of people share my suspended fantasy ?

A little more on my ancient AGHORI theory. Here is an anecdotal musing of mine over what a friend called "The Fourth Political Power" which is your "Political movement under Civil society's leadership" September 22, 2003. - http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=122&ThreadID=12335#40323 . . .Some people like to compares the Maoists to the emergence of Taliban in Afganistan. I think there is an analogy, at least at the beginning. Now, I don't think Afganistan is going to be reenacted in Nepal. But we certainly have a thing or two to learn from them to determine our future course. Basically we should note that the solution was not to bring back what Taliban had replaced or reinstate the primitive institution of the Monarchy back, but to embrace modern democracy. Some skeptic claim if we remove Monarchy we will become Afaganistan. I say we already are Afganistan. There is no going back. There is no staying where we are. We can only move forward. And boldly embrace modern democracy. If we failed to be a modern and vibrant democracy, our fate is sealed to be a second Sikkim. Frankly my dear, the monarchy can not be a justification for the state of Nepal in our time. This institution, from now on, is always going to be challenged, if not by 'Maoists' then by next 'French revolutionaries'. As it will go on, one fine day, people tired of asking the same primitive questions continuously and shedding blood for Nepali Chogyal will look at our Sikkimeli brothers and say 'after all, it does not look that bad'. Only a vibrant and modern democracy can justify the existence of the state of Nepal. Nothing else can. Have full democracy, save Nepal. Keep trying save the Monarchy, lose the country. It is quite interesting to see some educated folks buy a quite opposite pro-monarchy alarm, that absence of the monarchy might lead to our Sikkimization ! They fail to see that from now on, no matter who supports, the Monarchy never can have the old power back. From now on, no matter how the Maoists war ends, the Monarchy will always remain a controversial institution. From now on, even if the Monarchy succeeds to remain, there will be always some people plotting to oust it. And they fail to see that the Sikkim happened FOR republicanism. It did not happen DUE to republicanism ! It is exactly for this reason why a fourth power got to emerge now. It's not that it's not happening. It's happening. But there is an urgent need for it to be heard louder, to be more visible, to be pro-active, to be organized and to look reliable. While I think social scientists should have better and more comprehensive ideas than an ordinary guy like me can suggest, but I think there are two major hurdles this force should overcome first. First, it has to let people know that it exists. The problem is that at least at the level of communication and at a superficial level, it appears that people have been 'brain-washed' by repeated use of the phrase 'three powers'. This brain-washing is so severe that a lot of people simply can not think there is even a possibility of a fourth element to exist. The king, the political parties and the Maoists. That's all we have, that's all there can be and that's all you can choose one from. Funny thing, they even don't know they exist themselves. I mean, shouldn't those who do not agree with any of these three powers but also do not see any alternatives (I think the majority, if not an overwhelming majority of Nepali people belong to this class) realize that they themselves constitute an alternative, a power, no matter how insignificant it may be ? But, No. They don't. That's why I call it being brain-washed. It's time to remove that cloud. It's time to come out of that three-slot ghetto of thinking. It's time to use the phrase 'Fourth Power' ! The second hurdle is a small class of those educated folks who is knowingly or unknowingly breeding pessimism and readying the ground for a compromise with one of the powers in the name pragmatism. The challenge for the Fourth Power is to expose that these guys are not pragmatist. Their pragmatism is a hysteria. The vision of their pragmatism does not go beyond one more night of survival. These guys do not have a clue how we're gonna survive the day after tomorrow. I would call theirs a 'quasi-pragmatism' or perhaps better a 'short-sighted pragmatism'. I think these two are major and immediate challenge for the Forth Power to be. Once these are overcome, we can leave the rest to the natural laws. The fittest will survive. And that is right too. Because that is the natural justice of life. If it has to be the Maoists, no matter how we fail to understand it, it's gonna happen. If it has to be the King, no matter how I despise him, it's gonna happen. If it could be the Fourth Power, no matter how late it joined, it's gonna happen. The point is we have to be there. And we are coming.

Was I riding you Nepe? ;). What do you think ? I live in a real word in blood and flesh. You live in a cyber world without a face. Our worlds are way too separated for a ride. And I am a straigt (just straight, not homophobic) *** *** Indisguise, This is my last warning to you. If you have things that you want to discuss with me and particularly if you want my response, put it clearly and decently. Oherwise, don't expect my response. I don't have time to waste with a useless (to me) and speech-challenged person. Mind that.

Nepe, Just for the record, I am straight as well. So do not get excited here.:) The very REASON this sajha and other online forum are in existence and are as popular as it is, is, people can brainstorm among other things. Your real world is your work, your family, you day to day activities what you do outside sajha. So do not make me laugh saying it is ONLY YOU who live in the real world. WAKE UP and smell the coffee. Your incapacity to understand logic does not make others are speech challenged. On that note, are ya bigot extremist? Now my warning to you is, STOP PRETENDING that you do not get the point. I make my point in decent way, and if you do not have capacity to face an honest and straight question that exposes your double faced nautanki, I have nothing to say. Now, Mr. Nepe, as an honest sajha enthusiast, I have nothing personal against you or anyone in sajha. That would be unreasonable. Let us start afresh, when our point of view clashes or when we differ. Your juvenile and infantile accusations and pretended nonchalance, you leave it for others. Mind you. On this note, I give you my offer to argue, discuss, politik and all that sajha has to offer, provided we cross our path again, in decent, clear, HONEST ( means abhuj nabani). After all this is a public forum, where people with different sentiments are bound to lock horns. Let me just say, you do nto pretend and i won't bite; and vice versa. Namaste. Ahile lai yetinai. Indisguise, This is my first and last posting of this kind to you. So read carefully and respond (or don't ) wisely. *** *** *** Indisguise, I appreciate you becoming a little decent this time. However, I think it's time to let you know what I think about you, so that you can straight up your priorities in interacting with me. Well, what I think about is this- nothing. I find you very unstable, inconsistent, fragile frustrated (not only sexually) and unpredictable person. I don't care about that, but most importantly, I find you politically useless person (I am saying it from my perspective which, as you know, is activism fort he democratic republic.) I am not saying that only like-minded people are useful to me. In fact, provided they are consistent and focused, people with opposing views are more useful to me. For example, Ashu and Isolated Freak. This is just to make you understand what I mean by useless/useful. Politically, I find you a dishonest person. Here is why. During DC rally, you and I had a very long exchange in a thread on the rally. During the whole exchange, you PRETENDED that you do not support Feb 1, so your opposition to DC rally was for other purpose, not for supporting Feb 1. Believing that this person is worth having an exchange with, I replied to all of your OBSCURE (I did not know that you have this disease of verbal constipation then) question and comments. After several months, in some thread in Sajha, you revealed that you support the King. Let us not talk about your reasoning for supporting the King. I am fine with that. What I do not understand is why the hell were you pretending in May that you do not support the King ? Or did you change your mind somewhere between May and July ? No, I am not asking you to answer. I am just telling this to let you know what I think about you politically. Inconsistent and useless to have a discussion with. That's what I think. Now, non-political stuff. Yes, I am interested in non-political fun stuff too. However, As I said, I find you fragile, unstable and unpredictable person running amok with illusion of boosting ego by indecent attack (unaware or in denial that you are affording it only by your anonymity !) on others. Indisguise, the type of words and expression you are using to insult me above, I tell you, if you come with your real identity, you will be peeing your kattu even to say 5% of that. So, don't boost your ego by these daring attacks. You are not a brave man. You are a freaking coward hiding behind a nick and attacking a real person. Don't try to compare yourself with me. Yes, I am harsh too. But I am because I can. And I can because I have to take the responsibility, because I have a real identity. This attached responsibility is a self-moderating mechanism. Meaning what I post in Sajha is already filtered through a inherent mechanism of moderation a real person has with him. That's the reason why my words, although attempted as harsh words, are much more moderate than yours, Indisguise. On the other hand, you are an imaginary person. You don't take the responsibility. So you have no moral prerogative, like I do, to be 'harsh'. Your being harsh and indecent is pure taking advantage of anonymity. Got it ? In conclusion, so, you are neither politically interesting (useful) person to me nor a type I would like to interact with, unless you change yourself, which I doubt. I handle undesirable people in Sajha by a powerful tool called 'first warning then ignoring'. This is a warning message to you. And depending upon your reaction, you might get my ignoring messages too. Adios for now. Nepe

Just a small note to add: Indisguise, I have seen you calling Gyanendra Murti-chor and some other stuff. So don't bring that up. Your gaali to Gyanendra on one hand and your support to the Feb 1 on the other and particularly your vicious opposition to pro-democracy activist's opposition to Feb 1 is at best your confusion and at worse your attempt to float on a legitimate point for a mere survival (in the circle of pro-democracy posters) only to spit venom to democracy. Confused or too smart, what are you ?

Nepe, lol - I dropped a thin string "Dude, here is the difference. We (people like me) opened up our mind, studied and are free on our thoughts" and Nepe grabbed this string just like shallow educated (in real sense) commies (or comies??, what ever, no body gives a shiiitt) saying - you look like "learned man". Like I said in my previous postings - commies have shallow thougt, he proved it right. But, they read all the bull shiiittt books about commies that someone sells at Ratnapark, no doubt about it. That is the very reason why there are lots of commies but useless mass; basically have no weight and are political clowns. But I am enjoying reading your "singga na puchhar ko" comedy. But keep it up - as people need some clowns in society....

Sd_man, Thank you for your compliments. And as I said earlier, good luck to your research on me. Just don't spoil me with too much and too frequent attention. I am already spoiled so much that I don't think I have remained decent enough to take time to respond each time you publish your findings about me here in Sajha. So, Adios, I mean Lal Salam. *** *** ***

I think I am through my share of entertaining the visitors and now I can pick up the running अर्चना वन्दना to लोकतन्त्र-यज्ञ ।

Wahhhhhhhhhh! Kya baat cha Nepe! Thanks for making my day, and behaving NORMALLY. Now go buy a life size mirror. Nepal ma Gai Jatra and Sajha ma Nepe- jatra, ustai ustai ho nanu. :) Before you vomited your shit you could've opened your brain (if u have any) to understand what I posted last time? But you being you could not resist but puke and show your true color. Trust me I expected no less from you. It's been a joy ride so far. Nepe, this was neither FIRST, nor is it going to be LAST, - twisted-as-u-pleased junk you are throwing at me. You've used such cheap adjectives - phrases to me before too. Alas. Now Mr. non-homophobic sit back and relax, while I try to give you your much needed regular dose of antibiotic, lest you might bite someone else with your rabies infected saliva; while you pretend holier-than-thou face. At this age, you might just have high pressure syndrome. Chill. Now let me weigh the water you blatantly threw at me. First, make no mistake - what you think of me have absolutely NO MEANING in my life, whatsoever. Why? Because you are nothing but a dogmatic, polluted pot head with a pea brain who refuses to see that there could be people with differing view without attacking, fawning, bawling, in every possible way. While you sing and dance around with a twist of twakka tukka to hibernate your radical, corrupted mind, let this be known that many sajhaities are more intelligent than you might assume. Thus, your STUPID and SHAMELESS accusation, drama and nautanki fool no one, and least of all - me. Now while I tried to limit my accusations strictly to your thoughts and actions on the sajha, you, in your decency, OR THE LACK OF IT, went on to say, I am "fragile frustrated (not only SEXUALLY)". Mind you, this was not the first time you choose these kinds of words in my honor, while you make a big hue and cry about decency and what not. While I refuse to stoop to YOUR LEVEL, let me as well add, with due respect (not to you); you are married are you not? My humble request to you Mr. Nepe, stop making a personal call on others and watch out - lest the fire you set, burn you first. You have been duly WARNED. Regarding Ashu and Iso, if you have not noticed, they are not CHEAP like you; who while dances in merriment while accusing and belittling others, and accuses and threatens when confronted. But that's you. A hypocrite cry baby. Yes, I was skeptical about your photo opportunity DC rally. :). I still am. Regarding supporting the monarch, Hey murkha, GADHA, (not gandarv, no sir); NOT everyone who opposes your idiotism is a monarch friendly. So, if you do not have anything logic to argue with me, go ahead and paint me as you please, just so that you might score some brownies with your hardcore fanatics. But trust me MURKHA, most sajhaities are smarter than you think. You are nothing but some "banjara" who comes here and sings and daces and spits venom about your idiotism and we see and laugh at you. I would not insult my intelligence, while again answering why I called murti chor-- a murti chor. Unlike you who tries to justify someone PUBLIC fawning at some royalty -- Mero darbar chireko fufu jasto. Hahaha. You HYPOCRITE. Yes I am smart than you Nepe, and that's a fact, simply because I open my eyes, and my soul to differing views, respect them and try to rationalize, which, it is crystal clear, is an alien concept to you. Alas.

Regarding hiding behind a pseudo name Nepe, have you heard me call you with you name while politicking with you? I told you before and I am telling you now, "MALAI ma na ta tero kaam sanga matlab cha, na ta naam sanga." It's not that no one knows me in here Nepe. No. There are quite a few who does. But your STUPIDITY to post your resume, in sajha is NOT an "essential criterion" to participate in sajha. I do self moderate myself Nepe, as good, as and EVEN BETTER than you do. I am not here to be brave, in case you do not realize, it is an internet forum, stupid. Regarding, mutne in kattu Nepe, you are grossly mistaken. While I can use utmost respect while conversing, but if the other person is as bigoted as you are, and akin to mad dog threatens to bite me, I give as good as I take. So keep tero radical threatening strategy with yourself. You are nothing but a cheap ass slugger. Is that why come to sajha? Do you not have brains to counter my intelligence. Or is it about time for you to retire pretending an intellectual? You are harsh because you can be, and I am harsh because I can be. This is Sajha, NOT your selfpleasing google group. Get it straight. Nepe, can you counter any logical claims made by those who does not get swayed by your idiotism, intellectually? I challenge you to talk rational and thought provoking intellectual discussion. Nepe you are no match for me, not because you are not a learned man (?), because you have no respect for other's intelligence, IF IT DOES NOT PLEASES YOUR POLITICAL LEANING. Anyways, what do you do besides making others STOOP to your reeking level? You talking democracy is like, "jo chor uskai thulo soor". First learn to respect others views. THAT IS the first norm of democracy. IDIOT. If it was anyone else Nepe, I would have offered my earlier offer again, but to you, now, no chance. Either you, open your freaking mind or open your diarrhea mouth on your parole. What are you frustrated communist radical or simply plain communist radical? ;) Lately you are trying to please real logical posters with you chepare boli and chameleon-esque attribute. Good going Mr. my-way-or-highway. On May - July eh? I would give you links and tell me when did i "categorically" changed my position so much so that i unequivocally supoprted the king. Ekchin. Mathi "riding" bhaneko riding donekey bhaneko ho. Did you not say I was on a donkey ride so i asked if it was you. Do not twist it; or do even care? Duh! http://sajha.com/sajha/html/openthread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=21604&show=all#137974 (On MAY) http://sajha.com/sajha/html/openthread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=21803&show=all#143966 (JUNE) http://sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=22644 (JULY) http://sajha.com/sajha/html/openthread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=22652&show=all#149006 (JULY) Read these links. When you sometimes, spoke of some logic, albiet after you saw people WILL NOT be SWAYED by your one dimentional radical views, I have agreed on you, unlike you who can not even think of opening your clogged brain to anyone's logic. I have been seeing Nepe's postings a lot and without fail he attacks like a rabies dog at anyone who does not follow his political ideologies, calling them monarchists like there is no other schools of thoughts in this world besides his and against his. He forgets that the first rule of democracy is the existence and acceptance of dissent without attacking them or hoping to wipe them out!! Even look at that other thread with ashu, after all was said and done he's still trying to come back by posting some obscure post from the archive which doesn't prove anything by the way. By this point everyone's seen through his charlattan ways so noone even wants to give it any attention. Anyone can see Nepe has his political agenda and propaganda. Turning into verbal gunda gardi at any form of dissent. The first point of sajha rules says no propaganda but doesn't look like it is being followed. If Nepe is not propaganda what is?

Indisguise, I already explained to you what I think about you and your daring assaults. And what I already said is going to remain my standing reply to all of your cyber adventures directed at me. You better note that down lest you forget and start expecting fresh response from me. Baanki rahyo political kura. So you are saying you belong to the school of ambivalence. Not bad. However, you are still too inconsistent and therefore not interesting person for me to have political discussion with. I would rather choose Ashu. Because he is at least consistent- consistently ambivalent. Unlike you, Ashu has never said in clear words that he supports the King. Nor has he reduced the King to a moorti-chor to go off on a tangent. I am more comfortable with Ashu. On other extreme, I am more comfortable with unambiguously king's supporters like Dodhare. Once again, these explanations and examples are not to grade you, but to explain where my interest in you begins and ends. I hope I explained enough.

Shyamu, You got me right in one thing. I am here for propaganda for democratic republic of Nepal. I have been honest and candid about it from day 1 I joined Sajha in 2001.

Ok Nepe so you agree to the last line. What about the rest? He forgets that the first rule of democracy is the existence and acceptance of dissent without attacking them or hoping to wipe them out!!
