SG..well..those were the beautiful days..sharing the same feeling for perticular song and lyric.. if only I had captured those moments on tape :-( memories are all we have now..carved within our hearts..can not imagine life without memories!!

"abhi na jao chhodkar ke dil abhi bhara nahi" wow this song... my mom used to sing it all the time, unlike u guys having dads into singing I have my mom with good "Tara Devi" like voice and she had (still has in fact) immense passion for singing. :)

Do you guys have "Bachapan ke din bhula na dena, aaj hasi kal rula na dena" ... my mom used to sing that one for me all the time cause I liked it so much.

It's such a moving song of a father's love for his child!

One of my favorite movie. A beautiful story of lost glory of Newab Era.Many original stuffs were used in these movies like Rekha's jewelleries and the dresses(Garara & Sharara) worn by the old lady.Some of the sets are real too, in fact they restored few places to shoot.Mostly shot in Lucknow, it is one awesome movie.Haven't got the chance to see new version but the old one is really beautiful and one of a kind. An extraordinary story of an ordinary girl. A must watch if one has not had.

Lucknow has a special place in my heart, full of childhood memories actually.Gomati ,the big buffaloes,bhaiyyas, Loreto convent and the Bhool Bhoolaiya.
Watched this movie many times with papa.He seems to know each and every gallies of Lucknow.He could easily identify most of the locations in the movie, that made the movie even more special.
