Hey folks, Let us start our discussion here. Those in The Nepali NBA fantasy league. Maybe we can do a bi-weekly update rather than weekly. We will have time to capture more trades/FA acquistions, or other interesting turn arounds in our league. Let's keep it alive. Go CELTICS jai Nepal

ke ho AX bro...who needs a chasma more?? have a close look at my stats again and tell me if you see any category in red? LOL about us being bubble teams...its very possible. like i've been saying the league is so competitive this year, having your best guy out for more than 2 weeks might have been the difference between making it to the big dance or not. only thing working in our favor right now compare to kg4mvp bro (only his team had injury and other issues where as everyone were healthy...only took him few weeks to be 20+ games back from 1st place)....so it might not be as bad and i think you can definitely afford to have 1 guy go down but more than 1 might be one too many...i'm sure im gonna find that out this week. if i can't pull off a good win i mind as well making trade for draft picks for next year LOL

HUkka bro, I think Bandi misunderstood you, even I did at first becoz the way you wrote, I thought you were referring to Bandi's team and not yours. I think the next two weeks are key for me, if I can avoid losing 6-3 or worse to Lakers4ever and Wolves I should be in contention to end up in top 6, especially with Bosh coming back now. But injuries have really played a big part this time around, and all the top teams right now are virtually injury free except for Celtics bro...Once Bosh comes back I should have a totally healthy squad as well but all depends how my players turn out to play. Talk about competition, I won 6-2 and still dropped a place in the standings.

hahahahah..... it was my mistake hukka bro :=) Hukka bro if you hadn't given your strategy in the first week of the season, we will be still contending for the 1st and 2nd place :p i gotta get 4 points for next 3 weeks and I be just fine :=) I really thought Hukka, Commish, Shaq, H_J and I_K had the best teams.... it's not over yet, I still like my chances ;) JJ and Manu are available...... needa give up 2 good players for each of them :=)

Thanks AX for the report card. For the first time ever, I have gone 7-2 against the league averages -- too bad, that doesn't get me anywhere. BTW, why is the league avg for FG and FT percentages lower than the lowest from each category? Are you averaging the team % numbers or calculating the actual FT/Fg % based on actual number of shots taken by all these players? Flash, I see you are quite loaded with 3s, care to give up some in return for assists?

Free Agency is deep but.... all the free agents have comparable stats and nothing eye-popping. You never know which big star will go down every other night! Howeverr, You will still prefer to keep your own players over the ones that are floating in the market. Funny thing is I picked up a free agent and the next day he gets injured. That's what I call luck. Or maybe its me who is responsible for his injury. Almost every single guy in my roster is hurt or is susceptible to injury. Even the newly added ones couldn't survive the injury bug. I am talking about Kwame Brown... WHOEVER traded Felton for Bogut with me, you must be having fun Bro. Bogut is slow but steadily progressing like .... expected. And I am happy to have Felton (my last year's surprise) back, and it was a timely trade since Knight is out for some extended period and Felton should post up some numbers. Rafer Alston gotta be the most disappointing (most-active) player for me since his numbers are down from last year despite playing with YAO and T-MAC. ANyone wanna trade? ---- Hukka bro I will take YAO or DIrk or Melo for my next year's 3rd +11th rounders... what do you say? GO CELTICS (It has been the season of Healthier roster and not the one of stronger roster)

C Paul -regarded as the Best Point Guard when season started - INJURED R. Lewis - was logging the best stats for his career.. picked him thinking he will play for the new contract, i was right until he got INJURED JJ - took him thinking he will come back from injury, tookt he gamble and lost - INJURED and had to DROP (can't afford 3 injured players) JJ - not good at all, FG% is down to 48%.. as the season progresses he is getting worse C Wilcox - was logging the double double stats when the season started, thought he will have better nos after R Lewis went down, has been big DISAPPOINTMENT Wallly S. - was scoring 20+ point and having good season now FG% is horrible and coach is planning to give him same mins before the injury Troy Murphy - another good started and I knew he was a injury prone players and still took him, he is not logging the SAME MINS after the injury Manu G - erratic and injury, he would show up whenever he feels like it and that under coach Popovich? He should be having 17+ points, 6+ rebounds and 5+ assists Shane Battier - not getting the shot attempts like before the trade, Abudr-Rahim - had to DROP after Brad Miller's come back from injury Chandler - what I can say about this guy, he plays the Center position and he can't put back 5 or 6 shots a game??? dude will attempt from 4-5 shots when logging 36 mins a game.. worst than Ben Wallace D Howard - picked him one year earlier than his PRIME :p:p Thanks to all managers who didn't bite my trade baits.......FEEL MY PAIN??? revised stat for week 9:

Hey bro, Players not performing to the expectations is a whole different story than players not performing at all (due to injuries). Guess, players under-performing will go as Bad-draft picks. Injuries.. u cannot control them. OF course, Howard has been a great find for you. Wally is disappointing me also. My home team and losing and not putting up numbers. You don't have that many glamarous picks but they are quiet solid. I still can offer you some trades though!! hehe. Here is where I stand on my players. #1 pick Wade... missed 3 games earlier and now is missing 3 in a row again. #2 Amare is having a good season but not any closer to what he had in 04-05 season. I expect him to be back as his old-self though. #3 Peja is now out for several games and posssibly months and I had TO CUT HIM OUT. #4 Iguodala is my workhorse and is doing just as fine. #5 Josh Smith was putting up solid numbers as my another workhorse but now is shelved for over a month due to injury. #6 Bogut was doing so and so but not enough to my expectaions so I had to trade him away. #7 P. J. Brown- all his numbers REDUCED by 3 folds. Had to cut him out too early. #8 Dampier... playing like a 6th rounder that's all. #9 Alston is playing like shit with all the MINUTES he gets and with YAO and T-MAC around him. All of his numbers are down this year. #10 Delonte West was BIG BIG disappointment to me here and down here in Beantown also. Had to trade him away. #11 Hill puts up numbers when he is playing. But I can't really tell when they will suit him up or when he will reinjure himself. Can't cut - can't Rely on guy. Not bad for 11th pick. #12 Devin Harris showed flashes here and there but not consistent enough to earn lots of minutes when the other stars from his team returned from injuries. I took him to be a backup since Mavs have guys who keep getting hurt. I can get as good a value in free-agency any day. #13. Tyrus Thomas... thought the guy will break in to the lineup and contrinbute immediately. My ROY hopeful. CUt him out. #14 Haywood, lost his job to Etan thomas. Cut him out. non draft picks. TInsely was steal on the trade. Delonte don't even play as much. Felton is a satisfying trade acquisition. He is making the most out of his opportunity. Reggie Evans is a ROSTER FILLER. Hukka stole Sheldon Williams (after Josh Smith went down) so I had to pick him up for BigBoards. Kwame Brown.. still shows up on my roster but I already cut him out. Another desperate pick to fill up roster. BLount (FA pickup).. former Celtics. is doing what I expected of him. Pick up a little slack in the shadows of Big Easy. Top 5 in FG%. Sean May (FA Pickup) could be the candidate for the FA (waiver list) steal of the year award. But he also injured himself few times. Besides I shuffled with Jered Jeffries and he injured himself and had to be cut. Etan Thomas.. picked him up but he injured himself aso so cut him out. Channing Frye was doing nice job when I picked him up but he injured himself also. Last week 6 of my players missed games due to injuries. 5 of them are missing games this week. That's about 18-24 men advantage for my opponents. However, I am surprised to see myself hanging in there tightly in the competition. Good luck to you AX bro. Hey man Baseball season (off-seaon) is exciting isn't it? And oh .. our old friend is coming to town this weekend for some serious disappointment. You know who? Go CELTICS (AX.. wanna trade Shareef for D. Harris? I will help you with Nickels for Dimes in exchange. Ooops.. u don't have him any more)

whats up guys...i hear a lot of different stories but around the same theme and pretty much the same ending (they are not happy with their team) LOL but yeah i agree with you celtics bro, one thing for player to not perform another to be down with injury (you nor the player has any control over it). as for trading yao, dirk, or melo for next year 3rd + 11th rounder draft picks...if you give me few more weeks i will be able to give you my answer. gotta wait till the all star break to make such changes. but i think it would be great if we can do that...i mean if guys agree to trading your player for next year picks. will get a bit complicated but will make it a lot more fun i think. esp for those team that are gonna be at the bottom of the standings this year...so just like nba if you are down this year and have no chance, you build for next year. we should do this kind of trade just like we do our normal trade, if 3 managers disagree then its vetoed. i think it works out great for both parites invovled in the trade, as the team getting trade will be an instant favorite to win it all this year and the team receiving picks next year will be an instant per season favorite for the next...and may be this is where other mangers will have probs LOL sounds like we are doing our picks evulation...so here's mine: 1st pick -- dirk nowitzki -- i knew you couldn't go wrong with him as your first pick. as durable as they come, always great FG%, FT%, 20+ pts, 10+ rbs, 2+ 3ptrs night in a night out. he your NBA version of BMW aka the ultimate driving machine LOL still surprised most of you didn't want him when i offer up for trade. 2nd pick -- yao ming -- wow i mean yao! was having an mvp caliber season untill the injury. expect him to come back strong as ever in time for our play off play off??? LOL 3rd pick -- carmelo anthony -- i don't care what anyone say there wasn't a better 3rd pick than melo during our draft. this was my steal because i'd seen every game US national played at the world champs and melo was by far their best player and i got just the kind of performance i was hoping from melo if not more. expect for that one stupid moment which cost him millions caused me a lot of panic. should come back stronger than before with world vs. me attitude after the suspension. before i go one, other than kg4mvp bro i don't think anyone had offerd one or all of their 3 best player and i still don't understand how none of the teams could make the trade happen to get one of these guys ....ah well im happy they are still with me and with each passing day, they are one stop closer to coming back full swing. so ya'll better watch out...and i know you do...hehe 4th pick -- mike bibby -- started much slower than i thought. looks like starting to come back to his old self. if anyone wants him for a fair value...he's available. 5th pick -- andre miller -- very solid season. numbers going up even more in philly. might hurt melo's number with AI presence in denver but should more than make up by andre's numbers in philly. -- NOT available :p 6th pick -- al harrington -- up and down season. one of very few centers with 3pts ability. hoping for j oneal to move outta indiana. -- available for fair value 7th pick -- mo peterson -- injuries, inconsistency, and raptors young talent. dropped and in hadigoan's roster. 8th pick -- darko milicic -- improved regular season but disappointing fantasy season. was hoping he'd be a starter but inconsistency still keeping him on the bench. 10th pick -- marvin williams -- was injured to being the season so had to drop him. i beleive he's in someone's roster right now. 11th pick -- rudy gay -- pure rookie syndrom...inconsistency. dropped 12th pick -- danny granger -- looked like another draft steal earlier in the season while he was starting and nailing 3s...still OK for 3pts help and that's abt all he provides to my roster. 13th pick -- sean may -- was playing OK but had too many PF along with his injuries so had to drop him. 14th pick -- gerald green -- disappointing start but playing well as of late in a very thin boston roster. dropped from my roster but i think someone picked him up?? FA tranactions -- Zo been just a monster winning block on his own every week, shelden williams and juwan howard have been a solid contributor and were a very timely pick up. speedy claxton & brianani have a lot of potentials and room for imporvement so should be good additions for my roster. my only regret was dropping jr smith before he exploded....ah well. thats abt it guys...have fun. and great to see so many adds and drops!! u can't go wrong trying :-)

I am happy with my current team, draft was dissapointing but now through FA the team looks ok, Celtics did get better of Felton-Bogut trade. I drafted Felton in number 4 and upto that point he was playing so and so, and just after the trade and due to Knightt's injry as well he started having great numbers, but its ok I made a conscious decision to sacrifice assists category which I had never won with my squad. I guess the only thing I am happy about the draft is my last pick, Boykins, LOL!

Caron Butler(10th round) and Jamal Crawford (13th round) would have to be the steals of our this year's draft. And the bust -- Chris Webber (fift round), passed on Four of my original draftees are out for the season, talk about injuries. I don't think even the top four have played at the same time due to nagging injuries here and there. Hukka, I liked your ideas of being able to trade away players for next years draft, that will certainly make things more interesting. Baron Davis for next years 1st rounder plus some cash, anyone ???? haha.

Thanks KTM bro!! appreicate it. once again no blue or red for me...so no complains :-) hey guys its almost all star break and looks like only celtics and bandi have sent their $20 fee. very shameful on us minny residents (but i swear i've been wanting to give it to kg bro but everytime i see him i totally forget about it :p so bro i think im gonna mail in mine. LOL hey i was thinking and let me know if you guys agree. to set up some kind of sajha emergency relief fund where we set aside 50% of the total pot. because throughout the year we hear about our brothers and sisters all around the world in need of financial help becuase some unfortunate situation. so what better way to be able to give back to our community and cherish our friendship at the same time. if the money isn't used by the end of the year, it will go towards next and so on and so forth. hey once we have a few hundred dollars saved up in the fund, we can even open an high interest yielding account or even put it in the market...since it all all for a great cause may be we can grow our little fund into somthing much bigger many years from now....anyways just throwing some food for thought at you guys :-) good day!
