Can anyone shed light which one is the best?

They both are the best. You go to the one that is nearby.

ps: sams club has more brands (of a particular item) to choose from than costco.

i just noticed basmati rice cost 16.99 in sam's club, dont know abt costco. LCD are expensive, walmart is cheap, correct me if i am wrong.

Costco is better than Sams Club. They also have basmati rice for 16 dollars. Also they treat their employees better than Sams Club, happy employees and better custmer service.

I hate SAMs club. They ain't cheap, they just make you feel as cheap. Some are cheap cause they carry the items which is not even popular. Say like the soymilk they carry all the time vanilla flavor one but not regular flavor. Like yogurt they carry only freakin strawberry flavor ( lala yogurt) if you know what I mean. If you thinking about vacuum cleaner go to Walmart. I Habnt been to costco yet. Oh yeah one more, I bought one time luggage of samsonite from SAMs paying 75 bulks same one I found of 60 bulks from Ross. :(

 I agree with maxpayne, employees in Costco make better wages compared to Sam's and are treated better. In my opinion Costco's product have better quality. I have experience shopping in both of those places

 Its personal preference.....and there are several of us who just avoid Walmart/Sam's Club....Count me in that.....Costco is the way to go......

 For what it's worth, not everything you buy at Costco is cheap. Like Toiletaries and even Laundry detergent aren't always cheaper. 

I'm a costco shopper, most of the items are cheap, coz they say they're wholesaler but some items price have really gone up lately. Like this unsalted mixed-nut, used to be $12 few months ago, now it's $17.99, Vitamin water used to be $14 now it's $18. But again, this banana, you get it for $1.23 which is like almost a dozen, .. I don't if its only me feeling that way but food items at costco have gone up..

yes iguess sam's club is loosing battle with costco,sam's funny side is its been supported by walmart employee.
