Hi all, just wondering anyone has travelled Nepal via India recently. I was going through the airfare deals and is tempting compared to other airlines (300 dollars difference).
I have heard the IGI airport has got really better. But I would really love to hear experiences to see if its worth the saving. Thank you in advance sajhaities:)

IGI has improved a lot. There will be airline staff to help you go through the transfer and baggage transfer. I would recommend flying with jet airways as they are more professional, and avoid Air India as much as possible. The airport itself is very nice and is upto the international standards.

Delhi airport is good. PPl are very preofessional. In Past I tried to avoid Delhi as transit but now after travelling twice transiting Delhi, I feel comfortable.
Inside airport there isa Hotel that cost you abt 120$ , you can have a nice rest. Or there are cabins in transit area which will chrage you 10$/hr , cabin with nice bed and TV. Nice food court. Restaurents etc. I can not say same thing about other Indian airports.
Transit area is also good you can spend your time there.
