I would like to salute nepali national cricket team for an outstanding performance. I like their discipline, character, maturity and brotherhood they displayed during this World Cup. I haven't seen any underdog team played this level with high integrity and displayed how we are in general.. Hats off!!!
After this World Cup what next?? Which is a very big question and political parties and leaders have to do something to keep it up..otherwise this will end right here...
Government should force all these private schools to have one full scholarship cricket team from junior levels to senior as well as same rule for all private +2 schools, college and universities as well as private organizations such as money making bank and so forth.

Completely agreed. It was a mature cricket. Fielding was exceptional. Top order batting needs to be improved. They definitely lack foot-work (esp. Sagar Pun). Paras has shown immense amount of skill as a captain. Always leading the team from the front. This "batch" of boys have done well above the expectation. However, the next "batch" did not even make to U-19 WC. They were OUT from Qualifying matches itself. I strongly agree with b.gaunle. The spirit is there. Govt. and Private sectors should pour some money to cultivate and grow cricket in Nepal. Jai Nepal !!

Bhadgaunle, your first two paras are excellent. Your last para (Govt forcing schools) sounds somebody else wrote it, it just doesn't make any sense. The word matured is being thrown around a lot and I think a big kudos has to be given to the captain Paras Khadka. With his experience and calm play style, he has been a very integral part of the team, anchoring it entirely. Even in his interviews and public appearances, he exuberates that calmness. Rest of the team is equally deserving of this praise as well. This probably is the proudest moment for me as a Nepali in a long long while. We won't make it to the next round but the win over Afganistan just made me so much proud to be a Nepali right now.

Don't say that Kiddo...let's hope HK will fight for the pride and win their last game decently to help Nepal qualify.....B'desh is all out for 108.....an achievable target for HK.

Yeah, it may be a little too much for HK to get 109 in 13.2 overs. currently 31/1 .....4.3 overs
